Exactly.
When I told them that my neighbor kindly paid for my lunch, they completely jumped on my case as if I did something horrible. I didn't do anything bad. ><# Hell, I was willing to have separate bills and pay for my own.

Eyetk The basement is always the easiest way to go. *sagely nods* *nods sagely in agreement* Or buy a cheap desk fan and hole yourself up in your room.
Or better yet, go into a forest with lots of trees and shade and maybe a stream.
Have a cool bath or shower. Those are really good when you've had to go out during 10-4 and you've been melting.

Already have a fan and I tend to spend most of my time in the study, because that's where the internet is. I do have a computer in my room, but it's not hooked up to the internet.
If I can find one around here that's accessible. ._.
Normally have those at night or after exercising.

I have to agree with you Eyetk, (almost) wireless and a laptop are so good. Although I still have to remember that NZ has a more temperate climate than most of the States.

Probably will buy a new laptop once this one either becomes broken or completely obsolete that I'm forced to buy a new one.

Yum, laptops. You still need a wireless network set-up, though...

*has just gotten a job in the computer department, and is a bit obsessed with all of the information about networking that's been recently shoved into her head*

My specialty is more in programming than networking. I understand the basics of it, but when it comes to the more technical stuff... yeah.
