Ugu withdrew he hands from the student. He sighed, then, seeing that the student had used his 'loyalty' as a smokescreen for a sneak attack. It was annoying. Very annoying. Then his other students attacked, taking advantage of his downed position.
He abruptly stood up. The shinigami left his bokken on the ground, however, and stood tall. From standing up he made moved out of the way of Zaviel's strike. The next three strikes, two from Mai and one from Kaosu, were dodged when Ugu shunpo'd to the door of the dojo.
[Dodge: +40]x4
A shadow formed beneath his new-formed frown. "This class is over. I have gotten enough information to give your people your appropriate grades." He sighed as he continued," Mai. Please stay after class. Everyone else, go off to your next class and join us at the same time next week."
((OOC: Tsai asked for a 'break'. Anyways... Now would be the time to get XP bonuses and the such from Aradiah's Training Report thread. *nods*))

"Good Bye!!" Zaviel said, walking up and leaving the room.
Hm.....interesting..........enough info for our grades hmm? Well, i guess you can call it a mission accomplished, after all, i did memorize the style of a few people.
Zaviel quietly returned the bokken and quickly left the room.

Mai waited, she did not know why she had to stay for. Mai sat down and watched everyone else leave. "Yes, Ugu-Sensei" she nodded while on the floor.
"I wonder why I have to stay out of these students" she thought.

Kinzo stood warily as he realized his lack of health was going to hurt him in a fight. Fortunately enough, though, the class was soon called to end, for another week. "Heh, this was rather fun. I can't wait until next week." Kinzo walked over to the rack of bokken and laid his bokken back down on its rack. He was sure to snatch up his zanpakutou and tie it to his belt as he bowed to his sensei.
"Arigato, Ugu-sensei. I can't wait to see you next week." He came up from the bow smiling. He ran quickly out of the room with new-found strength.

Kaosu stretched and placed his bokken back onto the rack, retrieving his zanpaku-to. He went up to Ugu and said, slowly, "Domo arigato, Ugu-sensei. I look forward to your next class." He then tied his zanpaku-to belt in a new position, up and over his shoulder. It was a perfect fit.
As he exited the class, he only thought of the shortest way home, the smile on his face not revealing his weariness, even though Ugu had healed him. He finally exited the grounds, feeling a new sense of both achievement and disappointment. He wanted to get strong. He wanted to be strong. Finally, he decided. He would train. Even if it had to be in the class that it mostly happened, he would become better. Ugu...Kaosu thought as he walked under the golden archway of the school, this one shall defeat you eventually. Believe it.

Ugu waved, bowed, and said good bye to the exiting students. However, his frown remained on his glum face. Till everyone left, except his sister and Mai, remained in the room. He smiled and walked forward, toward Mai.
A smile returned on his face as he viewed the girl from his tall height. "Mai. Aside from you, there wasn't a single woman-shinigami in this class. My.. Sister doesn't count, since she only got into this class because I am teaching it. This fact shouldn't deter you from acheiving excelence." His eyes to the pink-haired student that hadn't moved since she had shrieked. "You might be wondering why I didn't attack you as much as I did the other students, Mai.."
He sighed. "It's because I didn't see the need to. You would never hit me and would probably never hit any of your classmates." Ugu bent down and picked up his dropped bokken. He placed both his hands on the wooden stick at each of its ends. "It's the way you're fighting. There isn't any 'focus' or 'strength' backing your blows up. Attacking you would be pointless if there was no bite countering it afterwards. There would be nothing for you to gain from fighting."
"It's all just 'attack'-'attack'-'attack'. Your tactics will have to change before you graduate from the academy. So, before you return to my class next week, please learn how to use both of your swords to their max. 'One sword attacking and another behind for defence' is more than a Buddhist mantra- it's beneficial to Zanjutsu. Remember it, because it'll give you an extra edge against your opponent next time. You may leave now." A smile remained on his face.

"Yes, sensei," she bowed, she knew that she needed to master her sai's abilities, she wasn't really familiar with using swords as of yet. She bowed again as she was at the door. "Arigato sensei," she said as she left the room.

Ugu smiled as the young shinigami scooted off. He sighed to himself, then, when he saw the emptiness of the classroom. But he continued to smile as he went over to the other side of the room. The man sat down at the very end of the room, furthest from the open doorway.
He placed his buttox on a mat. Ugu let out a long breath as he centered his emotions on himself, and the class. More specifically, he pondered about what marks to give the students for their effort. He 'hmm'-ed for a couple of minutes as his right hand swished around his pack.
Eventually he'd take out a sheet of paper that had the attendence. His eyes went to the individual names of the students, and their small little 'check marks' that lew beside their names. "Hm."

Annie's eyes looked over at her brother. She, following the example of her fellow classmates, began to head off away from the class. A frown remained on her face as she exited, and remained with her as she left the wooden archway behind her. A small salty tear flowed from her right eye as she thought about how badly the class went.
She barely even attacked her brother. She just stood there while he taught the other students... Annie brought her right hand up to her eyes to wipe away the tears.

'Lin Tsai, Kai Kenoshi, Takahashi Mai, Yamura Kinzo, Ranmyaku Kaosu, and Botsuraku Zaviel', he pondered to himself, as he stared down upon the attendence sheet. The thin edges he gripped crumpled slightly as he tensed his muscles. 'And Ugu Annie. I know the mark I will have to give her..'
Withdrew a pen from the pack on his side. His right hand went to the paper and scribbled in some random numbers for the students that had attended his class that day. "... Yes," he mumbled to himself as he completed the list. "Completely fair for beginning students.."
"Yup," he said with finality as he finished the final few numbers beside the checkmarks. "That should do. Now I probably should head home, and get some rest.." A smile reappeared on his face. "Or maybe I could hit on that new staffmember.."
