Alaera noticed her move the girl. "Is she getting too heavy for you. I can hold her for awhile if you want to take a break" she offered, before grimacing. It sounded like she was doing Karma a favor when it really was the other way around.
Alaera nodded while listening to Karma's explanation. It made sense to her at the same time that it didn't make any sense at all, which didn't make any sense to her either. "Well, I'm still not really sure how that all works, but as long as you are happy that's all that matters" she smiled at her friend. "And if you do get lonely please come visit me. Maybe it's fate way of sending you to see me?" she suggested.

"No, she's fine. I just needed to move her a bit." Karma said with a laugh. She felt the child's chest move up and down as she slept, she wondered what she was dreaming.
"Oh, I'm sure Fate will lead me to you again. She has once, hasn't she?" She realy hoped that was true, she liked Alaera alot and was going to miss her.

Aoaka fumbled for words. "Did you just...? What I mean is... well..." he trailed off, and then said, in a bit of a rush, "That was... wow. Maybe we could... do that again? Only this time with me expecting it?" His heart was racing. His thumb moved over the soft skin on Polgara's hand gently. His plate of goodies was forgotten, sitting in an empty seat next to him.

Polgara smirked and leaned in, kissing him again, not speaking, why waste words? She didn't need them, since she could communicated much better with her body than her voice.
After all, she was trying to trap his heart in her hands... She wanted to wear it on a string.

Whatever Polgara was trying, it was certainly working. Aoaka leaned in a little as well, and kissed Polgara back. Being his first kiss, he wasn't quite sure what to do, but he figured following Polgara's lead so far had worked.
It was quite wonderful on his side of things, and when the kiss ended, he was a bit giddy and breathless. He looked at Polgara, and lifted his free hand up to touch her cheek gently.
"Wow," was all he could think to say.

Polgara smirked, "I'll say," She giggled lightly and slowly pulled back to continue drinking and eating, needing a little time, no sense in overloading him, make him ask, make him beg, lead him deeper in the trap before springing it on him...
He would be hers, and it was so easy!

Alaera nodded in response. They were at the beach now and she stopped to admire the beauty of the moon reflected down on the lake. "It's a such a peaceful and serene night" she said to no one in particular.

Karma stopped next to Alaera, "Yeah, it really is." She looked out over the lake and smiled, "Do you have a favorite place on the isle?" Karma didn't really, but was curious to know if Alaera did.

He picked at his plate, more occupied with his thoughts than his treat. Finally, he glanced over her way. She sure looked happy...
"Uhm, Pol? Could I ask... why did you kiss me?" he asked, a bit hesitantly, and then almost held his breath. There was a hopeful light in his eyes as he looked at her.

"Well that's a very silly question to ask," Polgara smiled at him, reaching out and placing her hand on his. "I really, really like you Aoaka, and I would like it... if we saw more of each other,"
That last sentence could be taken in many ways, and Polgara had meant it as such.
"I would like it, if we could maybe... start a serious relationship?"

Aoaka flushed once more, this time with happiness, and turned his hand over so that he was holding Pol's hand in it.
"I... I would like that very much Polgara. I really like you, too. I asked... well, I asked because I didn't want to assume," he ducked his head a little, and peered back up at her through his bangs a bit sheepishly. But he was still smiling.

Polgara laughed. "Better to not make an a** of yourself huh?" She smiled at him and squeezed his hand, then reached out and lifted his chin a bit. "Well it's okay, cause you were right on the mark it seems." Leaning down again she graced him with another kiss, then pulled away.
Today was a good day indeed.

He let his chin be lifted, and he was smiling throughout the next kiss. He was glad he'd come, as today had turned out to be a very good day.
"It would seem so," he said, and chuckled softly. With their mutual admission, his thoughts were now whirling to make him a bit dizzy. Or was that because he was happy? But the biggest thoughts going through his mind were that he was one lucky Pae... and he hoped he didn't screw this up somehow.

Jazz thought about what she saw and didn't tell that wack-a-doo about in the mud. Then she walked around for a moment. The faes must have been busy because none had come out to see her yet.
She sat down and took off her muddy boots. "Oh, look at these. Oh well, that's not important now." The elder put them back on and got back up.
"Anyone here? Is the pae still here and is it alive enough to talk to or should I come back?" Jazz sing-song voice called out.
