Gwendolyn felt the wind slapping against her face. Her long hair flew about behind her. She surveyed below and for a while she only saw the blue green below her wrinkling into waves and seafoam tossing here and there. Then she saw a bit of rock protruding from out of the water and in the center of that rock, a bit of green flapping about. Oho... this is going to be interesting...

Kibo: I'm gonna go see what Gwen's up to. I'll be back in a few minutes.
Kibo switches his blades, and his wings appear. He shoots straight up, to cloud level, and looks around. He quickly spots Gwendolyn flying not too far away, and heads over. As he gets closer, he notices she's looking at something.
Kibo: What's up?

kibo_botch Kibo: But it's a quite efficient way of travel. You know, apart from the artificial feeling of the muscle being ripped from your bones. "Not a probelm for me. Remember I'm all bones..."

Look down there. Gwendolyn pointed down at the rock. Don't you see that there? Kibo gave her a puzzled look. Gwendolyn pointed again. Don't you know? That's a mermaid down there. Come, let's go see her. She dived down toward the rock and landed smoothly on top. Her wings folded themselves in and disappeared. The mermaid, with her long blonde hair moving about with the sea wind and her green eyes, stared at her, bewildered.

Kibo shrugs, and follows Gwen down to the rock. He unsheathes his blades, and replaces them in the correct sheathes, making the wings disappear. He tilts his head curiously.
Kibo: Hmm, I've never seen a mermaid before.
He walks up, and bows.
Kibo: Hello there. Admiral Kibo Botch, at your service.

Ah...
The mermaid was stunned. It had been a long time since a human had approached her. And also, she sensed a strange aura coming from these guys. She thought it best to find out more about them first. She bowed her head and flapped her fins before Kibo.

Kibo tilted his head as a small glint flickered across Aieris' eyes. She was reading him, trying to find out as much as she could by reading his face, taking mental note of any expressions, even in his eyes. He chuckles to himself.
Kibo: Nice to meet you, Aieris. So, what brings you to this lovely place?
He gestures to the rock they're standing on.

Sun bathing...
What a strange question, and what a strange man! Usually, when men saw her, all they would do would be to gawk at her beauty. But not this man. Then the girl spoke up.
That seems like such a fun thing to do. Would you mind if we joined you? I'm Gwendolyn by the way. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Aieris of the Sea. I may call you Aieris, may I?
Aieris eyed Gwendolyn suspiciously. Something seemed vaguely familiar about this girl. She knew she'd had heard the name somewhere. As Gwendolyn came over to sit next to her, Aieris suddenly remembered.
You're Gwendolyn of the Twins!

Kibo: Looks like you've got some fame to your name, Gwen.
He has a seat beside the other two, looking out towards the horizon for a few seconds, before turning back to rejoin the conversation.

Bigfoot puts the spyglass on top of a nearby barrel and jumps into the sea. *Swims over to the rock that Kibo and Gwen are on* (In turns into human form to make swimming easyier)

Gwendolyn laughed.
Yes, and my sister was known as Mary of the Twins except my sister was the one who received the more fame. We were also known as the Sisters of the Geminie but are names are still not spoken among the sailors. We're not that famous.
Mary... it was the Kraken, I believe?
Yes...... it was.
