Lauren shook and for a few more seconds, huffing and trying to catch her breath, "Well then figure what are we waiting for?! We HAVE to figure this out!" She said abrubtly, "I was in a coma for four months in the past, and I sure as hell don't like the fact that I was in one again. But this time I still have my fur so it can't be serum induced cancer...." She wasn't sure if she told Miller about this before but she wasn't witholding information right now when it was urgent to figuring whatever mystery they had found themselves.

Lauren shook her head, "Easy for you to say." She responded, but listened as she took some breaths and went through the panic attack clinging to Miller as tight as she could. It passed and her tail went down, but she still felt on edge as if a predator was going to attack her any momment now. "Sorry... I just, this CAN'T be happening!" she panted a bit, "There has to be some explanation Miller."

Lauren looked him in the eyes, still feeling shaken and frazzled inside, "Alright so who?" She asked nearly whispering. She felt small and beaten, as if she knew deep inside it was her beloved 'father figure' that had done this to her. But her brain refused to acknowledge such things. It had been forever since Lauren had even SPOKEN to Moreau, and an incident that ran so close to her more traumatic experiances on the island did not help her connection stay solid with the man. That combined with people telling her she was crazy for staying loyal to the labs.

"Miller, the labs.. they wouldn't do this to me would they?" She nearly whispered to him, frightened by her own words. "Why?"

"Just a lab rat..." Lauren replied and then fell to the ground sobbing. "There has to be something... some explanation. Why me?! I'm a good girl, I do everything they ask and then more so why Miller?" She curled up in on herself looking up at the budgy. This wasn't the normal Lauren, this was the Lauren before she left her father, this was the little abused girl inside of Lauren speaking right now. "They SAVED me Miller..." she said in a useless defense to her own mind.

Lauren had a hard time believing it all, believing all of this, "I... I did something wrong" She said shaking her head, "They wouldn't do this to me if... if I didn't do something wrong. Maybe.. I didn't get the tv show up and running fast enough" She looked at Miller with sad eyes, "I'm sorry, this is all my fault."

Lauren shook her head, "NO NO NO...." She said. "They CAN'T it isn't LIKE them!" A voice was nagging her, yes it is dumb b***h, remember the lockdown "No... that was a test." She said to herself. What about your coma? "No... the coma was my fault! My genes are weak! The labs saved me!" What about now huh? What DID you do exactly? "I... but I didn't do anything did I? How many ******** test will they make me go through Miller? When will they just stop and leave me the ******** alone?!"

Friends around her, taken from their homes. Nita left her mostly because of her loyalty to the labs. She had charisma and could sway people for short periods of time but in the end they weren't as bull headed as Lauren was. "Moreau... he's... he's like my dad isn't he Miller?" She asked looking up at the Budgy for answers. "And this time... this time there IS no running away..." Lauren shook at the preassure her head was going through, all the thoughts and stresses flooding through her mind. For now, if only for a momment Lauren was starting to believe that everyone was right, the labs were wrong in what they were doing. In that momment fear swelled up in her, as if they could read her thoughts and were going to do bad things in her for being swayed, if even for a momment. Why was she so afraid of them?

"No running away anymore" She whispered to herself. She was very vunerable right now, very open. The barriers gone and the gates of past abuse open. "But I do like it here I just wish they would leave me the ******** alone." She sighed, tired of crying and tired of hurting her brain with worry and conflict. Lauren gave into the side of her that doubted, it was easier to do considering what had happened to her. "I geuss I can see how you think that." She felt tired which was odd. Four months of sleep and she was tired. "I'm thirsty Miller..." She said tasting her cotton mouth.
