'Ello everyone! Name's Lea, I'm 17, a junior and art major in high school(yes, my school has art related majors. ^^). Anywho, I've been going back and forth between art and theatre for some time now, but after painting the sets for the plays and musicals for the last two years I've fallen in love with the theatre again and am part of stage crew at my school(I won't say techie because I still have a lot to learn about lighting and sound, but painting and costuming are what I'm best at.) Anywho, yeah...thats pretty much it....here's a list of show's I've worked on:
Sophmore year: Blithe Spirit No No Ninette Various random original shows done for an acting troupe at the local theatre.
Junior Year: Twelf Night Pirates of Penzance(My poor ship just got destroyed y_y) High Schoo musical(Currently building, we should be painting soon ^^) Narrator's Tail(Original play done for the troupe, costume mistress for this one) My School's Dance Show(*shudders* I think it might even have been worse the hell week...)
Acting I've done: Cinderella in Cinderella Wore Combat Boots Sally in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown ORiginal shows for the local theatre
And...thats all I can think of at the moment. ^^

I love theatre and music and really everything having to do with both. I am so glad that this is here so I have a place to chat with people about good theatre. xd I sing all the time and loudly at that. I love performing in musicals and operas, mostly. When I'm not in theatre, I'm reading. When I'm in theatre, I may be reading, too, now that i think about it. Anyway, that's me. Feel free to chat with me anytime about anything!

"Getting to know you, getting to know all about you. Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me" xD
Call me Cody, I sing, I act, you can teach me to dance...I'm 15, going into 10th. Texas, USA. I love theatre, I am aspiring to be an actor. I wanna go to broadway.
uhm....I've performed in: (from most recent) Carlo Goldoni's Servant of Two Masters as Silvio (spring 07) The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 as Roger (origonally) then later O'Reilly (did both for performances) (fall '06) Feather of an Eagle as Ralph (spring 06) The Intruder as The Father (spring-summer 06) Marvin's Room as Hank (spring 06) The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe as Peter (fall 05)((it was cool, we opened the week before the movie came out, and went through the week after! XD!))
Worked Crew for my school's 16th annual night of one acts (which included Servant)
And I tend to randomly quote plays...STELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes I "do that thing that makes Jesus puke" what is that you ask? "Sodom and Gomorrah, stupid. You sleep with men, don't you?" Well...yes.
(Quotes used in this order: The King and I by Rodgers & Hammerstein, A Streetcar Named Desire by...I cant remember, and Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You by Christopher Durang <3)
OH YEAH! I was also inducted into the International Thespians last fall!! *dances*

Hey you guys all sound really interesting and I wish I could see some of your stuff.
So, my name is Ashley, I am 18 years old and I just graduated from High School! I have been interested in acting since I was 6 and started at camps at the age of 8. Up until now (since I am too old to be involved anymore), I have been heavily involved in my community theatre, Pied Piper Theatre. They perform musicals every few months, and I have been in a total of five now. The roles that I am extremely proud of are Lowbutt in Honk! and Mrs. Sowerberry in Oliver!. I am a triple threat in training. My acting is extremely strong (but there is always something to work on), my singing is not where I want it to be, and my dancing needs a lot of work. I am going to be taking up a double major at my college of Theatre and Business, and if I can, get a teaching degree. My dream is to be on Broadway one day, and I will get there. I will not rest until I am on that stage as a decent character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, an interesting piece of information: For all of you that have seen Hairspray on Broadway and are extremely excited about the movie, know this: my friend, Kelly Glyptis, was at the callbacks for the part of Tracy. It sounds outlandish, but it is the truth! This Nikki better be one hell of a singer, because I'll be pissed if she's not. You will all be seeing Kelly later in life.

Hey all, I'm Sky. I'm 17, a senior in high school. I've been seriously doing theatre for the last five years (^_^), and am looking for colleges that offer BFAs in theatre. My most recent production was an original piece created by the three auditioned performing ensembles at our school called Donne in Amore: Heriones in Verse, which we took to Italy for 9 days and 3 performances. Just got back last Wednesday - it was wild. None of the nice old Italian women knew anything that we said on stage, but they kept shoving food at us.
Next up for me is AD'ing a very shortened version of The Tempest that the BSF is putting on with middle schoolers (wish me luck), and Into the Woods this fall at my school.
Nice to meet you!

'Ello, everyone! My name's Connor, and I am thirteen (nearly fourteen) years old. I've been told that I am a great actor, but I rather dislike my limited vocal range. I also can manage any dance directed, without proper dance training. My performance list is as follows:
Senator Will Speaks-We Are United
Little John-Robin Hood
Connor(Characters had the same names as actors in this one)-School House Rock: Live!
Chorus/Teen Dancer/Boys Band/Barney Hix- Meredith Wilson's The Music Man
And, the play that I am cramming thirty pages of lines into my head as I type:
Jesus-Godspell

Hello, I'm Cathie and I reside in Florida. I'm about to turn fifteen in August and in that same month I'll be a sophomore. =D I've only been involved with one production, but I'm not new to the stage since I've been in chorus for five years. My only production so far is Grease and I was a chorus member. We only had one production in my freshmen year because our drama/chorus/orchestra teacher was new and it was his first year at the school. Besides having a budding passion for theatre, I deeply love singing, and I like reading, playing videogames, movies, and musicals.

Bion Giorno!!! My name is Suzanna I'm 17 (until Jan. 200 cool I'm a senior in a Horrible high school in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A. I desperately want a career acting in movies..O.K. yes i want to be a Movie Star , not for the fame but for the power especially to choose the role you actually want to play! I'd also not mind being on T.V. or anything else in front of a camera exept horid commercials.................Experience: Sad and pathetic Ive only acted for an audience 3 times and have never done anything proffesional. #1: Odessy of the mind, 5th grade i played an evil witch...we got 5th place cry ...#2:Odessy of the mind, 8th grade I played Beowulfs Grendal(though it was not a play of Beowulf) Even though i did about 80% of (amazing) work out of 6 people and i think mine was a tremendous performance never coming out of charachter or messsing up a single line( It was quite funny actually, i based it off of Jack sparrow if he was an evil monster rather than a pirate)We still got last place!...#3:sophmore yr. Peasant #2 in Face Value I upstaged the s**t out of that role(my teacher even encouraged it) I think i did well. The beginning of the following school year my teacher said she would never cast me in anything again! Also i can't sing at all and i can really only do what i call "comedic dancing" I'm really good at that wink Mostly i do skits with my Jackass-esce group Trauma 101 I'd say the things i do usually are very S.N.L.-like..on crack! pirate

Hallo! My name is Anna. biggrin I am 16 years old and a junior in high school. I have been in plays since the beginning of time at my church and until 5th grade I wasn't really a theatre fan, then I lights for my elementary school/community's production of Step on a Crack and immediately fell in love with it. After that I moved on to Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts (a 6-12 school) and for all of middle school I majored in drama and minored in ballet. During that time I was in 4 plays, worked with the school's improv troupe, did lights and sound for two of the larger productions, and went to four forensics competitions to perform poetry interpretation. My freshman year I was uprooted from my arts school and moved to the deep south, where it would seem theatre is not appreciated in any way. scream emo crying Luckily my school has a small Drama group and a dedicated teacher of over 22 years. Since I came here I have been in a multitude of plays including: Let's Murder Marsha, 11 Variations on Friar John's Failure, Steel Magnolias, Loose Connections, Trial by Jury, and Barefoot in the Park. Now in my junior year, with 7 years of experience under my belt, I am secretary of the Drama Club (a shoe-in for President next year xd ) and will be appearing 2-3 plays each semester. At the start of this school year I am stage manager of our Cabaret Theatre, Nancy in The Simple Truth, and competing as Sophia Zubritsky from Fools in the One-Act Play competition. 4laugh I also speak German and I am mostly looking into colleges with the oppurtunity for both German and Theatre degrees.

Wow. Everyone sounds totally AWESOME! I'm almost intimidated! Well, my name is Lacey, so you can call me either that, or queen or queenie, or watever floats your boat. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with. I will admit that I can be a totally drama queen. I am currently trying to change this because I really can't stand myself when I get that way. I have developed a passion for theater in 8th grade and was in Advanced Drama my 9th and 10th grade years at my high school in CO. I am a Colorado Thespian now living in NJ. (*It's a bit of a long story, basically a divorce and a mom that hates me are how I ended up here*) I have acted in Midsummer Night's Dream as Nick Bottom the Weaver, I was Betty of the Burger Blast for Footloose, I was "Ms." Henderson in You Can't Take It With You, and I have been Assistant Director for Lost In Yonkers, as well as The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch. Not a very long or significant history, but it how I came to love theater, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Shakespeare now, even though I have honestly not read all of his plays...I love the richness of his language...my favorite term is "Star crossed lovers" because it so often describes my relationships...I am Helen, no guy truly wants to be with me, they just want me. I am always cast aside and forgotten...sorry, see? Total drama queen. Oh, and I'm sixteen. LOL. Sorry for giving you my life story.
