I only ever really disliked cait. No real point of him being there outside the black materia and a few random setbacks. Kinda like yuffie.

i hate no one they are all amazing how can you say you hate them some i like less... but i like them all i didnt like cait sith because it lied and it was just a weird sort of character BUT VINCENT RULES ALL!! scream

There aren't really any characters I hate (each character has thier own purpose in the story), but some I didn't much care for. Like Cait. He was a bit annoying and useless in battle.
Hmm...I didn't really like Tifa. She nagged Cloud too much and I didn't like her way of dressing.
I liked Cloud better than most, although I admit my opinion of him lessened when I found out he was only pretending he was in SOLDIER.
Also, I never really liked Marlene. She was the sort of character that's supposed to be cute, but comes across annoying and clingy. Also, I thought it wierd that she dressed like Aeris (another char I didn't really like) when she only knew Aeris for at most, a few hours.
Aeris was an obvious Mary Sue. That in itself isn't enough for me to not like her (Many of the characs are Mary Sues or Gary Stues), but she also teased the other characters and made Cloud act OOC around her. She needed more flaws for me to like her. That, and I hate pink sweatdrop
There are plenty of other characters in FFVII that I would seriously dislike in real life (Sephiroth, Hojo, Rufus, pretty much any of the "bad" guys), but I like as characters.
