Episode 18: The difference between boys and girls

"SUSHI!"
The young Elf with pointy long ears jumped out of the bushes, having some clothes close to her. On her face fear was written all over it. Naraku, Mayonaka and Matsuru looked at the scene.
"Sushi, give back my clothes THIS INSTANT!" Blade came out of the bushes with only a towel wrapped around his body.
"But these clothes are not you!" Sushi tried, hiding behind a tree.
"I don't care, I want my clothes back!" He grabbed back his clothes.
Mayonaka sighed. "Sushi, I tried to explain this a few times to you, but not everyone appreciates what you do." Sushi wanted to interrupt, but Mayonaka continued. "Not everybody likes it to have your taste forced on them."
"But I can make something way better!" Sushi tried. "I..."
Blade fumed. "Only I decide what I will wear, understand?!"
Sushi rubbed her ear. "Jeez, all right, I get it." She mumbled. "But your clothes are really old. In a few days you'll come back crawling at me!"
"In a few days you and Mayonaka will be gone!" Blade was so angry at her. However, deep inside he wondered if he was right. Already 2 days had passed while they only decided to help each other off the mountain.
Matsuru joined them. "Okay Blade, try not forget to breathe." He suggested. "You have your clothes back now, how about getting dressed?"
"And that's our cue to use the spring." Mayonaka tied her long hair up. "I can use a nice bath again. Are you coming Naraku?"
But when Sushi stepped next to Mayonaka, Naraku remained standing still. "Something wrong?" Sushi asked.
Naraku nodded. "Seeing people without clothes is not good." She stated.
Blade and Matsuru felt embarrassed, and Mayonaka and Sushi didn't know what to say or do for a moment. Then they started to laugh. "But Naraku." Mayonaka smiled. "We are girls, just like you! Then it doesn't matter!"
"Girls?" Naraku asked.
Mayonaka nodded. "Yes, we are girls." She replied. "And Matsuru and Blade are boys."
Naraku turned around and looked at Blade and Matsuru. "You are boys?" She asked and she saw them nodding. "But... what is difference?"
Silence filled the woods. Everybody had become just as red as a tomato. Naraku didn't get it, why didn't anyone reply to her? Suddenly Matsuru pushed her towards the girls. "They will explain you that, Good Bye!" And he grabbed Blade and hurried off.
"Cowards!!" Sushi yelled at them. Growling she folded her arms.
"What is difference?" Naraku asked again.
Mayonaka giggled blushing, but guided Naraku to the spring anyway. "Well... where should I start?" She asked embarrassed.

In the mean while Matsuru lay on the floor. "Man, I never thought she would ask such hard questions!"
Blade closed his shirt. "I think she reached puberty."
"Now I know how it feels to be a parent."
Blade shrugged. "Well, I now know for sure, I'll NEVER have kids!"
"Why not?" Matsuru asked. "I mean, wouldn't it be great to have someone walking around that is half you?"
"What about the other half?" Blade joked. "Nah, kids only give you trouble. And puberty is a hell as well, for a parent then. Glad I'm out of it."
"Really?" Matsuru wondered. "It has never been that harsh on me."
"That's because you haven't reached it yet." And a shoe flew to his head.

"Well, I hope you get it now." Mayonaka hoped. She so didn't want to tell that whole story again! If it would have been a little kid, it would have been kinda okay, but this was an almost grown woman who asked for it!
Naraku looked wondering. "But I have never seen it before..."
"That's because it's not okay to see people that way." Sushi continued. "I mean it's not okay for girls to see boys without clothes, and boys shouldn't see girls without clothes."
"Why not?" Naraku asked.
Mayonaka shrugged and put her hands in her neck. "That's just a rule." She said. "People made that rule a very long time ago. It just stayed that way."
"We don't know why they made that rule." Sushi confessed. "But we stick to it anyway." She let herself fall backwards and when she came up again she put her hands through her hair. "Ah, this feels great!"
"Sushi not do that again." Naraku said.
"What?" Sushi asked. "Do what?"
"Not go under water." Naraku warned. "You can not breathe then!"
Sushi laughed. "I know that!" She smiled. "But don't worry, I can hold my breath! Hey Mayo, how about you?"
"I already asked you a thousand times..." But she couldn't finish, as Sushi pushed her under.
Naraku wanted to jump in, but Mayonaka pushed herself up again. The next thing Naraku saw, was Mayonaka pushing Sushi under.
But the thing that confused her most... was that Mayonaka and Sushi were laughing!!

After a while the girls had got out. Mayonaka tried to make her hair dryer by twisting it. Sushi had an all other way: she simply shook herself dry.
Naraku had put on her new clothes and pulled on a boot. "Mayonaka?" Naraku asked. "Sushi? Will you stay?"
Mayonaka looked at Sushi. "Well... eh..." Both started. "We'll see..." Mayonaka finished and dressed herself.

During noon, all decided to go travelling again. If they wanted to be safe for sure, they should get as far away as possible. All walked besides the horses, except for Mayonaka, who claimed to be very tired.
'She's faking'. Matsuru heard in his head.
"I know that Pear." Matsuru replied.
"Who are you talking to?" Sushi asked, but Matsuru didn't reply. He was so certain they would call him crazy!
"Look!" Naraku pointed. "No more trees!"
Blade nodded. "It seems we'll have to cross this grass area." He looked at Matsuru. "Do we have enough food left?"
Matsuru nodded. "Not that much, but enough to get us going for 4 days. Let's not use more then we need."
"Agreed." Blade said and started walking again.
All followed him over the grass area. As predicted, there weren't many wild animals to see, and trees hardly grew there too!
Slowly the night started to fall. "Maybe we should find a place to stay." Sushi suggested.
"Any suggestions?" Matsuru asked only seeing grass, grass and grass.
Blade looked at the sky. Slowly the 3 moons started to show themselves. "Well, I don't think I'm gonna like this night. Look there; clouds!"
"Rain?" Mayonaka sighed. "Awe man, and there is no place to hide!"
Naraku jumped in front. "Rain: water falling from sky!" She proudly stated.
"Indeed." Matsuru nodded.
"But Naraku already had bath." Naraku continued. "I not like wet again. So, we need shelter!" Matsuru wanted to say she was right, but she went on. "We need tree for shelter."
"Yes Naraku." Blade agreed. "But there is no tree to be found. And none of use have the magic to let a tree grow." He actually wanted to say that Naraku still didn't know how to use her magic, but the others didn't knew about her magic ability yet.
"And that's where you are wrong!" Sushi jumped in front and looked around. "This looks like a nice spot."
Matsuru and the others were confused. "But, you said you didn't have earth powers!" Matsuru said.
Sushi nodded. "I don't. But that doesn't mean I can't do magic!" She pulled out her bag.
"Oh no!" Mayonaka screamed. "Hide!"
"What?" Blade asked but when he looked back, he saw Sushi taking out a few bottles.
From one bottle came yellow power, with which she drew a circle on the ground. With some blue and green powder, she made some symbols in, on and around the circle. In the middle of the circle, she placed an acorn.
"Stop her!" Mayonaka ordered.
"What?" Matsuru asked. "Why? What is she doing?"
Sushi sat down. All but Mayonaka gazed curious at her. Mayonaka sighed deeply and hid her head in her hands, whispering: "This will so go wrong again."
"Gaia, Mother of the earth..." She started chanting. "Lend your power to this child of yours!" She sprinkled some green powder on the acorn. "Let it grow!"
The acorn and the symbols started glowing. Gasping all looked at the circle, and Sushi that sat behind it with wide-open arms. Wind started to howl and blowing viciously, while a magical aura started to surround her.
"Let it grow!" She ordered once again.
At that moment the acorn started moving. From the top, a small root escaped and pierced itself in the ground. "Awesome...." Blade gasped.
"I can't believe it..." Mayonaka added. "It's working?!"
Sushi carefully opened one eye. "All right, it's working!" But in her enthusiasm she accidentally knocked over her bottle with yellow sand. "Oh DANG!" She cursed, but it was too late!
The tree suddenly started to grow in rapid speed. "Get back!" Matsuru ordered and all ran away from the growing tree. They didn't stop running until the lights had died out.
And when they looked around... they saw a HUGE tree! "I knew it!" Mayonaka yelled. "I just knew she would mess up!"
Sushi walked around the huge tree. "Hey, look, it worked!" She smiled.
"Worked?!" Mayonaka screamed back. "You stupid witch! You almost killed us!"
"Sushi is a witch?!" Blade and Matsuru asked astounded.
Sushi defended herself. "Every Elf has magic!" She said. "If I wanted to use magic as well, I had to find another way. I just suck big time at earth magic!"
"And you suck at being a witch too!"
"Well, I would like to see you try!"
Naraku looked at the sky. She wondered why she couldn't see the stars any more! The moons were gone as well. Suddenly a drop of water fell on her nose. Curious she looked at it. "Rain?" She asked.
Mayonaka and Sushi stopped fighting. "Great, it starts to rain as well!" Mayonaka sighed.
"Well, at least we have shelter." Matsuru said and stepped under the tree.
Everybody else agreed and joined him. Blade made a fire to keep them warm while the horses calmly grazed from the high grass.
"So, what's for dinner?" Sushi asked.
"Not much." Blade gave a small bit off food. "Maybe you should try to let an apple tree grow next time."
Sushi smiled and took the food. "Sure, why not a desert tree then as well!"
"Well, only if you're busy." Blade added and all grinned.
All of a sudden a light appeared in the sky. Naraku jumped up and grabbed Matsuru. "Matsuru!" She cried.
A rumble followed the lightning. "Uh oh... thunder!" Matsuru stood up.
"I hope it will not hit us." Sushi prayed worried.
All stared at her. "This tree is the highest thing in the area..." Mayonaka started. "It can be considered a miracle if the lightning won't hit us!"
Another flash appeared and Naraku clinched to Matsuru. "Don't be scared." He comforted her. "A thunderstorm is scary, but will never harm you."
"I would like to hear you say that again after the lightning hit this tree." Blade sarcastically mumbled.
"Then what do you suggest?" Matsuru snapped. "We can't leave either! It's a grass area! If we leave this place, we will become the highest things instead of this tree."
"What should we do then?" Mayonaka asked.
"Well, let's then just hope the High Ones will protect us once more..." Matsuru turned around. "Maybe if we will try and walk to the opposite direction of the thunder..." He started.
"No." All looked back. It was Naraku who had spoken! "We must stay here!"
Matsuru tried to explain it to her. "Naraku, staying here is too dangerous!"
Naraku shook her head. "No, we must stay here!"
"I know it's scary, but we have to..."
"No!" Naraku looked determent into his eyes. "We must stay!"
Matsuru looked at the others. Naraku was giving an order, but what did she base it on? This was the first time she had seen lightning and heard thunder. But in her eyes he didn't see fear. Not any more at least.
At that moment the lightning hit the ground. A nearby rock got blown into pieces and all covered themselves hoping they wouldn't get hit. And when the light died out, all stared at the now smouldering boulders.
All stared at Naraku, who now calmly said: "We must stay..."

Ik wil wel Naraku fan art maken maar ik ben bang dat ik dan mezelf voorbijloop met wat ik in mijn hoofd heb voor scene, ik heb een gedailleerd beeld en ik ben bang dat ik het niet kan maken, vooral omdat ik nog nooit achtergrond en voorgrondobjecten heb gemaakt en dat is uit het begin dus dan zou ze naakt zijn en draderig haar moeten hebben en dat heb ik ooit nooit gedurfd.

*zucht* ik wou dat ik dingen kon tekenen zoals ik ze in mijn hoofd heb.
Artistiek naakt vind ik wel mooi wil ik wel is proberen, maar als het ecchi wordt is het vrezelijk en ook als mensen precies zo tekenen dat er net een plukje haar daar zit en net toevallig een blaadje daar zweeft en daar een lintje, kan ik absoluut niet tegen.

Artistiek naakt kan ik wel tegen, maar niet als het mijn eigen karakters zijn XD Misschien omdat ik eigenlijk hun 'moeder' ben XD

En daarbij is het verboden images hoger dan PG 13 op Gaia te plaatsen.

Yup. Maar je weet nu dat als het om artistieke naaktheid ga, ik het niet waardeer als het om mijn karakters gaat ^_^

Maar ben altijd benieuwd naar het resultaat!

Er zit een groot verschil tussen de suggestie wekken dat er naakt is, censoreren, en werkelijk artistiek naakt tekenen.

Suggesties en censoreren is tot daar aan toe. Werkelijk artistiek naakt tekenen waardoor ik zie dat ze iemand van het vrouwelijk geslacht is kan ik niet waarderen, omdat mijn karakters daarvoor te veel voor me betekenen. Ik hoop dat je dat begrijpt.
