((lol, of course I want to post! I enjoy roleplaying with ya and it is helping me write a book and numerous essays mrgreen ...the problem is work and alot of family stuff happening this month and next month))
"How's about going off campus?" Long lightly suggested as he twiddled his fingers for a moment's time. Long was a little distant at the moment, it almost seemed as if he were thinking the word duel, and answering Rin at the same time. It would however be noticeable that Long himself was not there at the moment. He was in fact really wondering what he himself would do...but this broke short on the upcoming thought.
"How's about we-" Long cut himself short as a short idea popped into his head as he feel silent. He slowly closed his eyes in concentration and calming himself. He then gave it another moment as his head drooped down. He was in his thinking and reconsidering modes at that very moment. Of all the places to come up with an idea, Long chose now to do this
He was in fact in deep thought at the moment, and he looked really concentrated there on the bench, he then took notice and lifted his head, "Today....Let's just have some fun..." Long said as he hopped off the bench and land on his feet whilst now stretching his arms from side to side. He turned to Rin on any suggestions where, "So how about you take us around today?" Long smirked lightly. He put his hands at at his sides and waited momentarily for Rin to respond.

[Ok! Just making sure. xD;; Because sometimes I feel like the other person is forcing themself to post, and then I feel bad. >> Anyway, I'm good at being patient if I want to be. xD]
Rin waited quietly for a reply. Well, he had spoken pretty quickly, but then he'd seemed to fall into a deep thought, or something. So she remained silent and watched him, her arms folded across her chest after a moment, as she shifted very slightly in place. Her eyes wandered over their surroundings briefly, and returned to Long when he started again, only to cut himself off.
She frowned, looking slightly confused. Was he really taking that long deciding on a place, or was he thinking of something else as well? She couldn't be sure, but she wasn't going to break his concentration by asking.
Finally, he lifted his head to speak again, and Rin was slightly caught off guard by the decision. "Me?" she blinked, arms unfolding and dropping by her sides instead. Then she paused, glancing to the floor. "Well, I... haven't been many places off campus," she admitted. "Just the temple."
Frowning again, she tried to remember just what exactly there was. "There's a... village," she mumbled. "And a movie theater. I don't think there's a beach." That was slightly disappointing, as she recalled she hadn't been to a beach in ages. But then again, would a school have a beach? She'd forgotten that Ria had one.

((Ohh that happens alot to me eek ))
"Well...Yes...How's about showing me around then?" Long replied referring to the all the place Rin had mentioned. He was rather curious as to why Rin had been to a temple, but he was also curious to see what a temple was. He stood there looking blank for a moment, "And maybe we can catch a film if we have the time," Long said as he dawdled a bit with a stray hair by his ear. It seemed to have been bothering him since he walked out of the room with the robotic arms.
With out looking, he plucked the single hair out, not giving a flinch of sign that it hurt. The hair was long an silver colored. He lightly threw it off and waited for Rin to to say 'sure' , 'nah' or any thing else she would say to it. Long looked a bit to the window, "Well I dont recall seeing any beaches either," Long said as he looked to see trees and hills.
He turned his head to see Rin's eyes turned to the floor. In a moment's second, he already reached his left arm to lift her face up slightly, "You know, it's kind of annoying how you sometimes don't keep too much eye contact with me...It is kind of rude and gives me a hard time keeping communication with you in a way," Long said as he pulled his arm back dropping it to his side. Hopefully, this would also make things sound more clear and understandable between the two.

[K! Glad I'm not the only one.. >>;]
Rin blinked a couple times, now looking up at him, mostly because he'd lifted her chin himself. She stared for a moment, and then slowly nodded. "Oh... sorry," she mumbled, frowning slightly. Then she focused instead upon what he had said.
Rin paused, and then slowly nodded her head. "Ok... to the temple first, then?" she offered. Somewhere, in a far back place of her mind, she heard the spirit give a soft curse, and found herself smirking lightly. It faded soon enough though, as she pushed the thought away.
Instead, she watched for a moment as Long messed with his hair, and eventually pulled the strand right out. She just blinked, watching it drift to the floor, before returning her gaze to his face. She'd make an effort not to stare at the ground... She'd just developed a habit of doing so, especially when she was thinking about something.
Without another word, she started towards the exit, knowing off the top of her head where the temple was, since she'd spent quite a while there. Of course, it hadn't done anything, nor had she seen any of those she'd gone with, but that didn't really matter. She did find herself looking at the ground again, not even realizing it. This was another habit, partly so she was always watching where she stepped, just on the off chance there would be something there she'd want to avoid... like mud.
Let's rephrase her promise... She'd make an effort to look him in the eyes while talking.

"To the temple it is then..." Long blinked as he followed behind Rin putting his hands in his pockets, as he caught up he popped in another question, "So what were you doing at the temple?" he asked curiously. It was very eager and interested that Long seemed to be the more they approached the exit. He turned his head slightly like an owl whilst facing Rin.
He only kept his mouth shut as he walked with Rin, not looking anywhere excdot directly at Rin, like an eagle on it's prey. He then, once again was not watching where he walked and ended up tangling his legs and falling over flat on his face, just before the door. He laid there with his face on the floor as he gave a muffled, "DAMN..." as he spoke with the floor in his face.
It completely changed from being serious to something comical and cartoonlike. Apparently, Rin's looking to the floor seemed to click to him about watching he was stepping...But this wasn't where he was walking, it was 'How' he was walking and not watching how he was walking.

Rin nodded, glancing up at Long as she replied, just like she promised herself she'd start doing. "Last time I went with some people. One promised he'd help me, but I haven't seen him since." She rolled her eyes slightly, frown returning. "He did give me my own room in the temple though." Guess I should go check it... Might be full of bugs by now, she added to herself, wrinkling her nose in disgust.
Eyes returning to the floor, she continued forward towards the door. However, she stopped short when Long fell over, somehow tripping himself. She didn't worry about if he was ok or not, since she just assumed that he was, which may or may not be a bad thing. She didn't feel the need to worry about him, but if he did end up injuring himself, maybe someday, she'd have no idea what to do. He seemed to run into things a lot, so it was probably a good thing he was pretty much indestructable.
But for now, she just paused, then crouched down at his side, hesitating and then poking his arm with her finger. "You ok?" A faint, half smile tugged at her lips as she peered down at him.

"I'll be fine..Just give me a moment..." Long grumbled on the floor as he lightly pushed his arms on the floor like a push up, and raise himself up, and crouched up. He brushed his face and chest of any dust or debris. He looked over and Rin and smiled grimly to cover up his rather embarassing. He lightly placed his hands in his pockets and had his attention turned to Rin and all around the two.
"You know...you almost smiled...." Long stated as he looked at Rin's face closely. It was a half smile, so he wouldn't necessarily count it as Rin smiling. He only the replied, "So, someone was helping you, but he up and left?" Long asked curious to find out. He once again tilted his head to the side like a owl and kept his eye contact with Rin. He was now able to keep a good communication with Rin, and at least he didn't feel like he was the one that was talking.
He then noticed he was standing at the door and opened it lightly for Rin to walk through. This was a new trick that Long learned, so he figured that opening the door for someone would make you seem more approachable. Long himself, was becoming alittle more of a person rather than a human. Or so he was training himself to be more likeable.

[I was watching Death Note and L said the the quote you have down for Long. xD]
Rin straightened, and then stepped backwards, watching for a moment as he got to his feet. Then she tilted her head slightly, noting he seemed to be peering at her rather closely. When he mentioned why, because of the half smile, and shrugged her shoulders lightly. "I guess so," she replied simply, absently brushing a few strands of purple hair behind her ear.
"Yeah, well..." she mumbled, then trailed off as she stepped through the door, starting up again once she was through. "The guy said he wanted to help, and mentioned others that would want to help, gave me a room at the temple, and then disappeared before anything else could happen. Actually, there was a fight between two other people, and the first disappeared during it."
She frowned slightly to herself, pulling her gaze from him and looking back to the ground for a moment. That's what'd brought her to the training hall. One of the male's who'd been involved in the fight had seemed familiar to her, and she'd wanted to ask him about why. She guessed she knew him from Ria. But, instead of finding him, she'd found Gordon, then Long, and she'd somehow stayed with him since, which was odd for her to stick with one person for so long. Oh well. It was probably a good thing. She didn't usually talk this much either.

((LOL like that anime is the first to use it? I got mine from the very first transformers and fist of the blue sky, but nonetheless it's one fo the koolest quotes rofl ))
"I guess you're stuck with me for assisting you," Long smirked lightly as then frowned when she finished the rest of her story.
"I don't suppose you would mind filling me in on what that guy thought was wrong with your pendant?" Long asked curiously as he loomed over his shoulder to see that it was pretty sunny out, with pink jet puffed clouds. But then he turned back to look at Rin and shift his attention towards her. He lightly gave a deep breadth as he waited for Rin to pass through the door.
But in a moment's second, Long's belt gave a loud beep that soon became a large number of beeps. He then pulled his arm from holding the door and lightly tried to take it off. The door bumped on towards his back as he then had both hands on the limiter, before it gave a a sign that it was dead. This was wasn't so bad, Long's belt/limiter, was in fact an object he invented to kind keep a short leash on his power. Since it ran out of batteries, it now allowed Long to reach his full potential.

[Well, he said it and it made me smile. -L fan- xD]
"Seems that way," Rin replied with a roll of her eyes. Again, it was hard to tell when she was teasing and when she wasn't, because she seemed so serious always. Like now, not even the slightest hint of a smile tugged at her lips, as she slipped past him and out through the door. But by now, it was probably pretty obvious that she didn't particularly mind him being the one who was helping.
Once outside, she turned around to face Long again. "He didn't," she began with a frown. "He left before even saying what he thought." She paused, debating something, and then continued. "I guess he expected the aura of the temple to affect the spirit, which it somewhat does... Maybe that's why I got the room; so I could stay for a while. And maybe he said "they" wanted to help, because he was including the spirits who haunt the tem..ple..."
She'd been thinking aloud, mindlessly stating her thoughts, when the beeping of Long's belt distracted her. She blinked and glanced down at it, watching him messing with it. "What happened..?"

Akira stopped in the armory and looked around for a few seconds before he spotted the items he was looking for. He walked to a far back corner and picked up two wooden bokkens that were curver at the ends to resemble scimitars. He wove and spun them around for a few second and left satisfied with them.
Upon entering his chosen room, after setting down his equiptment, Akira activated the AI and set it in fight mode. Not sure exactly what fighting style the AI used, Akira jumped back and set into a defensive stance and allowed the AI first move.
After learning the fighting style and beggining his counter on the AI, Akira was soon positive that he could take down the AI in short time. He slapped an arcing slash out wide, reversed his scimitars direction and poke the tip of the weapon into the AI's ribs and turned into a complete spin deflecting the AI's next three atacks. Faster than the AI could react, Akira had the blade of one scimitar resting easily next to the AI's throat and the second scimitar's point was lightly pressed against the AI's chest right in front of where the heart would be.

((imma fan too ya know? Ooohh nice sandals biggrin ))
"I think my belt ran out of batteries..." Long stated dumbfoundedly as he prodded at it several times before giving a sigh. He looked at the belt and then just left it alone knowing full well if he had, something would happen, "Temples are somewhat a more fortified hallowed ground, so most spirits or evil sprites can't harm you in any way...this guy might have done his homework, but based on what you told me, he probably guessed the temple would fully work...." Long said almost insulting the person, but he meant well.
"That's not very nice to leave someone alone..." Long replied almost sounding like ice in reference to his own feelings about the subject. He hated talking about leaving 'certain' things alone. The subject always put him in a very malicious and of course a unfriendly foul mood depending on how in depth the subject was affected how Long would act like this. He then, thought about it for a moment before calming down and turning on his normal ghost white expression.
"It's nothing really big about the belt, when we get to the temple, I can fix it there..." Long said changing the subject as he then tailed Rin like a shark as he walked away from the door, his hands in his pockets still, his eyes back to darting his surroundings and his face staying as grim as the day he came. He figured he'd do a bit more investigation about Rin and her pendant attempts to remove it. Although, he clearly remembered making an inference about Rin's necklace at first, it was beginning to be actual facts and turning more towards a conclusion. Long would just need enough information to finally add in 2 last steps in his process of teaching.

Sora walkedinto the training facility in light clothing that was easy to move around in. Her pants weren't the normal capris, but stretchy work-out pants instead. However, she kept on her normal, fitted t-shirt that had a cat on it today... or the head of a cat. More like the shape of a cat's head, since it didn't have a face. "Mm! Ready for anything!" She told herself in confidence, and she walked over to some empty mats.
"Perfect." She told herself, dropping the gym bag she was carrying, and she took in a deep breath. She focused on relaxing her body, and she stretched, so she would't pull any muscles. First she leaned to the right, then to the left. She touched her toes, and then bent backwards. She hummed to herself while she stretched, her eyes purple at the moment. Calm and relaxed, always best to feel that way.
Sora tooke her water bottle out of her bag, opened the bottle, and dumped the water. The water soon rose from the ground into the form of a figure, taking on a fighting pose, and Sora also prepared for fighting. The water demon, so it was, suddnely bolted at Sora, and she cartwheeled over quickly, then swooping her leg at the legs of the demon. The demon jumped, and Sora's leg was left sliding until it came to a halt, and she jumped up. However, the demon split in two, and jumped from Sora's left and right. She jumped backwards, causing the demon snd his clone to fuse back together. All of the sudden, Sora vanished.
The power of invisibility had many advantages. You'r opponent couldn't see you, and had a hard time finding you. Very, very usefull. She then swung her fist at the water demon, her hand going through it's "face". A screech of dissapproval came from the demon, and it lunged forward in attempt to find Sora's body, but Sora quickly moved behind him and swung her leg at the demon's waist. It fell to the ground, screeching louder than before. Any higher or louder, it could have broken a window. The facility got quiet except for a few people who didn't pay mind to the loud noise. Sora came out from her invisible state, holding her water bottle. The demon once more lunged at her, nad she caught it in the bottle.
"That's enough, Dalucien."

Rin cast him an uncertain glance. Why had the belt needed batteries in the first place? She looked back down at it, frown upon her face as she stared. Did it do something important? She couldn't help wondering, but he hadn't willingly said what that sometimes was so did that mean he didn't wish to?
She pushed the thought away for now, as he brought up the temple again. "He might have had something planned, but he left too soon..." she frowned, trailing off a bit as she heard Long's remark. He looked nearly scary for a moment, but then the expression reverted back to the one of normal, and she started walking again.
"Oh, ok," she mumbled, casting him a glance from over her shoulder, before starting to walk again in the direction of the temple. She wasn't sure why she was going... To check out her room, definitely, but also partly to mess with the spirit a little... She liked reversing their roles, and having the spirit feel weak for once.

Akira smirked at the spectacle of the the girl fighting the water demon. "Heh, interesting...partner? How'd you come to aquire a water demon?" For no particular reason, Akira slapped the AI's head with the flat edge of his scimitars three times before walking over to his equiptment and putting down the scimitars. From out of his bag Akira produced a small onyx figurine that he quickly inspected before gently and carefully placing it in a pocket.
