"Not yet..." Verandi smiled again as she whispered that to Hugin, and likely he would realise that she was talking about his thoughts of revealing Grace's true nature to the elven woman.
Grace looked up at the ragged pair of immortal souls before her and just shook her head. "I have repaired all the physical damage, and I am glad that the two of you were able to see eye to eye!"
With that she removed her bubble and drew herself and 'Andi back out of his mind and back to the real world were only a few seconds had passed.

With that out of the way, Evan opened his eyes. Yes, Evan- his eyes were purple again as he blinked sleepily for a moment. His glass of wine was still mostly full in front of him. It were as if nothing had happened at all, and for now Hugin was content on resting on his laurels until something else happened.
"What... happened just then? Did we all sleep or something for a moment there? Must be getting late."
He was entirely oblivious. All was as it should be.
Actually, no. All the repairs have been completed in under 3.56 seconds. She worked faster than I had expected.
Well, not everything. But it was close.
Evan shook his head and said, "Um... thanks, Grace. I uh... don't know how I can repay you."
Confused much?

"There is no need to repay me, I only did what I was trained to do and healed someone in need!" Her smile was brilliant as she reached for her wine once more.
"All good then...so glad we could be of service master White!" 'Andis' smile was triumphant.

And then, the confusion was gone. "Well then, let's celebrate, huh? Who wants another plate? It's on me this time," he said with a grin. He certainly didn't feel any different; but then again if he did, it would have meant that whatever grace had done while tinkering around in his head had failed.
And so, dinner picked up once again, his menu in hand. He was surprised that he was somewhat hungry still, but even that faded as he found something nice to eat yet again.
"This is a nice place you picked, Verandi. I'm glad to have met you both."

"I am truly glad to hear that... and it was our pleasure to make your acquaintance!" Verandi sat back in her chair and looked smug, she still hadn't even touched her water...
Grace grinned and decided on a nice desert and another glass of wine as she wondered if this was another case of 'Andi trying to help her make new friends.

And before the night was over, his wine glass wasn't even half full. Too busy with food, too busy with getting used to the new changes, too busy with trying to figure out Grace, too busy with conversation.
He did get to it though, and before long it was time to pay for the meal and be on their way.
Of course, Evan was not too happy about most of these things that Hugin had informed him of.
So then, Barton's been taken. I might send a team over there to assess just what's taken place, but for now I have to concentrate on St. Aggripina and West Fall. No doubt one of those two are their next targets. And then there's this whole thing about the Leyline...
Which could wait. The woman who had enough information on how to tap into a Leyline, no matter which one it was, would know the full details on it soon enough. Hugin was used to waiting. Evan was not, but he would have to. Still, there was no reason not to ask...
"Hey, Verandi... is there any way past this waiting for Hono thing? I mean, there's got to be some information on these Leylines somewhere, right?"

Soon of course, it was time for Evan to say his goodbyes and hope they would meet again as he headed back towards Durem. Naturally, he had a lot to ponder over. Well, less to ponder over and more to actually do, but it was the same thing now.
Hell, his unseen enemies could be moving even now, and he might be too late while heading back home. All the better to leave the next morning than anything else- this wasn't a vacation, after all.
Hell, there's never a vacation when you're trying to save someone's a**.
He just didn't know who he was trying to save- himself, or all those people who would no doubt be decimated by the undead threat, or even Eden (if Hugin was right about the threat it posed). After serious thought on the private jet back home, he decided that it was the latter.

'Andi sat on on perfectly normal bench, apparently people watching from behind her dark sun glasses as dusk descended upon Gambino, and the dazzle of the light bulb encrusted casino's lit up the island in a neon haze.
Her white suite reflected back the rainbow colored lights so that she almost shone like a billboard herself..."Oh the possibilities..."
A man passing by caught her attention for a moment, although her posture never showed her interest in him, he had potential... although it was not the sort that she was really interested in, it was too small and he himself had no chance of growing past that potential.
She turned her face away from him, letting him keep his potential...for now, after all, you never knew exactly how chance could change a person... but mostly it was because she had an appointment to keep in Durem, and for the chance to add another piece to her side of the board she would happily let the fates of Gambino all lie unaltered... for tonight at least!
With a grin to herself she stood and slowly walked across the square to a nice dark alley, taking off her glasses and slipping them into her jacket pocket before she stepped into her tare in space, a flash of light from the dark recess marking her passage for a moment before all traces of the white lady disappeared once more.

"Somehow, that felt like a waste of time...but then, I suppose that so long as he has a real idea of what is coming then he is still in play... until he chooses to side with Victor I can still use him..." Verandi muttered to herself as she stepped out of her rift back into Gambino Island, pulling her glamor back into place so she looked rather ordinary in her white pant suit...
"Well I suppose that leaving Donner alone for too long is just asking for trouble, I should send Grace to look out for him and the bird brain..." She headed off in the direction of Grace's hotel with that in mind.

The two brothers, Jack and Xerion Nozima, reached their destination of Isle De Gambino about an hour after leaving to get their. Jack cashed his cheque in and the two got their grub on and went to bed in a five star hotel.

Fredrick Gand smirked as he looked out the trailer windows at the local people slowly coming into his 'realm' Between the twin ticket booths was the pathway to his wealth. Getting to open on the island of Gambino was a stroke of pure luck and genius. He had bought the carnival lock stock and barrel less than 6 years ago, at that time it was little more than a handful of broken-down rides and a few washed out performers. Yet there was something more, there was her.
His lips curled in a cold lustful smirk, as he thought of his pet. Dangerous and wild like an animal he thought, she was the main reason he had spent fifty thousand on something he normally wouldn't have bought for five thousand. With ticket sales of her exhibit alone he made that much back in less than a month, and in the last 6 years he had amassed enough to actually make something of the carnival as well as set aside more than enough for his 'early retirement'
She was his golden girl, his ace in the hole. Yet she was slowly growing harder to handle, the beatings were coming more and more frequently. Not that he minded giving them; the freak had a very well developed body. Nice too look at if you liked oddities. Parchment white skin that showed blood with such a pure perfection. Fear, he knew how to use it and he knew that was the only hold he had over her. Caged like the animal she was he would never let her see just how much he truly depended upon her for his livelihood, only that she depended upon him for hers...
Still looking through his trailer window he glanced to her cage, dark and shadowy, as she liked it he kept her 'hidden' until it was show time, then she was on parade. Showing her unusual skill and 'talent', the strange ability to change and adapt herself to her environment. It was chilling to watch her during her act, dropping down into a clear tank of water, and slowly growing very visible gills so that she could breath, then stepping from the water, the gills melding back into her pale ghostly skin as she stepped into what they had dubbed the hot box, a kiln like furnace that blazed at over 700 degrees. Without even burning a single hair.
Over the years they had tried different stunts with her, an airless environment, the tank filled with rat poison. All of these things she was able to adapt her body to survive. Never once speaking, and never showing emotion upon that eerily pale face she worked like a trained pet, an automaton so to speak, and tonight would be like all the others.

The Next Morning.
By now Jack had awoken from sleep and was sitting down watching tv waiting for Xerion to awaken also. On tv was Live Leviathan Television. Currently there was some fight between two hand-to-hand fighters.
"Guh...Re-Runs..."
Jack murmured quietly to himself before putting the tv on mute and leaning back on the leather couch. What would he spend his money on? Buying a house might be good, maybe even some new equipment. Might get a thousand gold haircut.

Minutes later and Xerion emerged from his own bedroom. Everything about Xerion was messy. His hair stood up on end, his eyes have sleeping bags under them, his pants loose around his waist. Walking to Jack he took a seat on the couch beside him. "So, think of what you want to use your money on?" He asked Jack before his eyes turned to the tv infront of him. At the moment the previous fight had just ended and now there were just ads.

Jack replied to Jack before watching the Tv. On tv at the time was surprisingly one of Jacks fights with Yusuke Urameshi. Guess that's why it's being re-run. Yawning Jack looked at the time. Ten in the mornin' and Jack had been watching tv since seven. Damn.

"A house, eh? Well last night while trying to sleep through the pain I have I also thought of something to make, a building or hall of some kind. Made by the finest materials and very large and able to house us with ease. And even create an arena in it! It would be rather exensive though, but we would both have alot of gold left over!" Xerion proposed to Jack his thought. Creating a hall, or guild, of some kind that would allow people to visit and even join up in. It'd be a new place that everyone could enjoy, that is if Jack decided to put half of his own money in. If not Xerion would probably kill the idea and move onto to house himself, but a ferrari, make a family and be pretty much set for life.
