Storm shrugged.
"I've never met him personally. They say he was always into sports though. One of those fanatics that paints they're body the team colors. Wasn't he the one that went a little bonkers after Longskanks killed his wife?"

"His name was William Wallace, or Braveheart as the Scottish call him. I think you'll find, from 300 years ago." He paused a moment, remembering his history lessons, "And the battle was The Battle of Stirling Bridge, which is in Scotland near the city of Stirling"

Kibo: Ah yes, I remember now. Dreadful what happened to him. Drawn, Hung, and Quartered. Now that's a fate I'd rather not have to endure. I'll be perfectly fine without having to see my own beating heart. But, that's not a fitting conversation to be having in a cave filled with treasures.
He continues to look around, checking for anything that would catch his eye.

Storm smiled bemused.
"Well Ranu, you certainly know your history. You went to school?"
She shrugged.
"It's not as bad to see it, I suppose as to feel it. I wouldn't know. Never been tourtured in such an amature way before."

((Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Wallace wasn't called "Braveheart" in his time. That name came with the movie.))
Kibo: Hmm... I feel like taking a trip to Scotland... How about you, Storm? Ranu? It'd sure be interesting, to say the least.

Storm stood and stretched.
"Oh yeah. I haven't been there in a while to say in the least. 'Sides, the Scots always have a little extra just begging to be...donated to our small trust fund."
She waved a hand around to encompase the large tresure filled caveren.

Kibo laughs heartily.
Kibo: Well, that's the decision, then? Well, let's get a bit of spending money, and head out, then. Or would you rather stay here a bit more?

[Yeah, I think he had it by 300 years later though.] Ranu nodded slightly, "My father demanded it." He said softly, "I only excelled at geography, and history." He smiled, "We'll need to steal a Union Jack first, though." He closed his eyes, thinking of the Union Jack, which was just a red cross with a white diaganal cross behind it, for England and scotland. The Irish part wouldn't be added till 1801.

Kibo: There's already one aboard. We use it when trying to approach English ships. That way, we're not sent to the bottom of the sea as soon as they spy our pirate's emblem. If I'm not mistaken, there's also French and Italian flags down there, as well. I make sure to have them on all my ships.

"So then, why'd you turn pirate? Seems like if your father could afford to pay for schooling, you'd have your life made."

Kibo: While you guys are doing that, I'll start filling up some pocket change, eh?
Kibo pulls several sacks out of a nearby pile, and starts filling them up with gold coins.

Ranu sighed, looking at a golden idol but not really seeing it. "I served on a ship called HMS Adventure, but the Captain was a coward. He fled from a smaller French ship, then..." He paused, his face working furiously, "he attacked a helpless civilian ship, pointlessly slaughtering all the people onboard and pirating all its goods. I called him out for a duel, and killed him. The crew helped me get away from the ship, so that I wasn't arrested, and ended up on Tortuga, where I set about trying to find a new ship to serve." He shrugged, putting the idol back down.

"That's harsh, even for humans. Did he ever explain why he attacked the civilians?"

Kibo: Maybe we can ask him. Maybe give him a bit of post-death torture. A few hours in an Iron Maiden might change his mind about what he did.

Storm fiddled with one of her new rings.
"Can you even hurt a spirit in an Iron Maiden?"
