"The Music of Joseph Curiale"
Which sounds horribly boring but is the best marching music I've heard besides Variations on a Korean Folksong! heart heart
Opener: Call of the Mountain
Percussion Feature: Adelina de Maya
Ballad: River of Tears
Closer: Joy

We don't have a fancy-pants name for ours or anything, but we're starting with a song called Maleguena which is very slow and Arabic sounding. Then we're kicking into songs from the Shrek soundtrack: Funkytown, Accidentally in Love, and I'm a Believer in that order. It's cool because our songs get faster as we go along.

i've played Maleguena before, the tuba part is a pain. We are doing "The Mask of Zoro" this year with songs from the movie. its great, and for the most part, its easy on ALL the players. but when you put it all together, the music lines up so that the minor hard parts all go one after another so it sounds like one harder after another, but its not. of course the tuba part is pie.... so repitive crying

I don't know if I ready posted in here or not....I don't think so, but oh well.
Ok, the first show for this year is Classic Rock which features:
25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago
Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas
Pinball Wizard by The Who
The next theme we're doing is Latin theme, but the songs are still TBA.

Our show this year is called "Amaze!" The visual theme is a maze (pun intended), and the music is based off of Ron Nelson's Rocky Point Holiday and Samuel Hazo's Perthshire Majesty. It's a challenging arrangement, seeing as most of the show is at 180 bpm, but we're doing pretty well with it. Our first football game is this Thursday, and our first show is Saturday the 10th of September. Wish us luck!

I don't know the exact theme but it's kinda of a movie theme. I know all the music was arranged/written by the same dude. We're playing Star Wars Theme/ some other song and Jaws/Superman...it's awesome! We just got the music today and I love it! heart xd

I have no clue what the name of my band's marching show is going to be, but I know it's Egyptian themed. It's kinda funny since my band director choose the music a month before the King Tut exhibition came here to California. hmm it's a very strange coincidence.
