"I dont claim to be a warrior, but a fighter, and I dont ask for respect because I give none. You have to prove to me that you deserve my respect, I refuse to respect you from the start, that just isnt how I work. Like I said before, my job is to kill, and it wouldnt be very helpful to automaticly respect someone I am told to kill now would it?"

You want to know the reason why I no longer want to be a warrior and no longer give out respect? I was in a mercinary group right? thats what mercinarys do, they hook up with groups. Well I was with them for a long time and respected every coward in there. You know what they did? They betrayed me. So I am sorry for not giving you the respect you think you deserve, but like I have said before... Earn it."

A merc has no code of honour to follow or a discipline to base his life on and by not trusting or respecting anyone the only thing your doing is becoming just like those who betrayed you. Merc are not warriors, they are killers who's only duity in life is to take thelife of others for nothing more than pocket change. To think taking away someones life, for no just cause and no reason but to get something as common as money, it's a shame."

"You only got one thing right, and that is we fight for money. Good merc companies are like large families. You may dislike someone but you could trust them with your life. The problem was that I chose a bad group, because I was young. If you really think about it, we arent any different from you, its just that we get paid. We help pitiful lords gain more land, and we kill other merc companies. Most merc companies dont rape or steal, they fight the enemy and that is all... If they did need something they would pay for it. You should probably try being a merc before you say things like we arent warriors. We do have a code of honor and we do have discipline and we arent ignorant of the other people who fight, unlike you. There are rules for mercinaries, two of which I have said before, no rape or stealing. If another merc company surrenders then they are let free, you may mutiny if you think that a leader is doing something that is not in the best interest of the company but this does not happen often. We dont run or commite suicide if we are defeated, and those that are defeated probably will join on with the merc company that did defeat them. To sum it up, mercinaries join mercinary companies, mercinary companies are like small armies with stricter rules."

"mercs also have some sense of duty i used to be one a long time ago. before this war started that is why i travel is to get away from my own name. but we all have lives and we all live them differently some people need money so they go for hire but even mercs have a code whether some follow it or not it is purely up to them. sometimes the fight is what people live by." *sighs a bit* "now can we continue on?"
