Makoto looked disappointed. Luna and Artemis knew a lot about this type of thing, but they were stomped. She had an idea, but cast it away quickly as it would only bring more confusion into the situation. She desperately wanted to fight against the reborn threat.

Usagi frowned a little as she listened to her friends. They were definitely in a very problematic situation. Her Senshi instincts were telling her that they would most likely have to leave the fighting to Mamoru and the Shitennou even though it was clear none of them wanted to do that. Then she suddenly had an idea. "What if we trained like we did when we were all trying to awaken our abilities?"

Minako looked over at Usagi, a little confused. "What did you do to awaken your powers? What kind of training?" Minako remembered that getting Rei to sing to the children at the hospital had helped Mars' powers to awaken, but she wasn't too familiar with what the other girls had done.

Usagi looked at her friends with her characteristic smile. "Well, we all did things that we hated for the sake of our powers," Usagi said, looking over at Makoto, Ami, and Rei with an impish grin. She remembered those days almost perfectly. Though they had been tough, they had been worth it and looking back, Usagi could not help but laugh.

Mamoru nodded. He seemed satisfied with Zoisite and Jadeite's answers to his questions, for now at least. He still had a couple of questions, but the more he thought, the more it seemed the answers slipped away from him. He continued to eat, too busy thinking to say anything else. When he had finished eating, he stood up. "I'm going to head for home now." He said. Even though he acted like he felt fine, the sudden painful headache he had experienced earlier made him feel a little weak. He thought that if he could just go home and rest, he would feel better, and then he could concentrate more on what was going on.

Zoisite was torn. Knowing what he did, he didn't want the Master to be alone, but he couldn't very well follow him, or get Jadeite too without explaining himself. There was also the fact that he wanted to try and reach Danburite, the old Danburite, through his music. He needed to be at his piano for that.
Danburite had promised to not hurt him, and Zoisite felt that it would be safe to trust him on that for now. "Master, you'll contact us if anything is wrong, right?"

Jadeite quickly stood up, too. "Master, please let me go with you." He didn't want their Master to walk home alone, especially after all the strange things that had been happening.
Mamoru smiled. He really appreciated the concern of his two friends. He thought that it might be nice to have some company on the way home. Especially if anymore unexplainable incidents were going to occur. "Alright, Jadeite. You can come with me." He reassuringly placed his hand on Zoisite's shoulder. "Don't worry, Zoisite. I promise that if anything happens, I will contact you." He turned and headed for home with Jadeite following him closely.

Zoisite smiled gratefully. Things couldn't have gone any better. Jadeite would keep an eye on the Master, and Zoisite would be free to try and connect to Danburite. Assuming Kunzite wasn't home.
He turned and started back for the house. He walked quickly, wanting to get back to his piano as soon as possible.
"Then, we should try training some more," Rei said with determination. "I don't like not being able to fight if there is a new threat. We have to at least try."
Minako nodded. "Rei is right. I don't like the idea of depending on the Shitennou. We need to reawaken our powers somehow."

Makoto remembered what she had done to awaken her powers. She just didn't know if it would work again. "I agree with Rei and Minako. I definitely hate not being able to fight. Any suggestions for what I should do?" she asked. She'd start with the suggestions and then start doing the things she thought of.

Luna cocked her head to the side, looking thoughtful. Makoto wanted suggestions and Luna would do her best to come up with something. She started by trying to remember how it felt every time she transformed into Sailor Luna.Usagi, too, did her best to think of a way to help her friends and herself. It would be much, much harder without the Ginzuishou around to sustain their powers. Though, she did remember a time when they did not even know about the Maboroshi Ginzuishou, a time when they thought that their powers came from within. At least, Usagi had felt like that. That's when the idea hit her. " What if our powers are still within us even without the Ginzuishou? I bet if they are we could activate them again!" The pigtailed teen felt proud of herself for her sudden thought. It was not often that she had moments of pure brilliance but she counted this as one of those times. ~*~ Danburite opened the doors to Beryl's throne room and entered whether she wanted him to or not. Despite how the day had gone, he had indeed made progress. He had been able to locate Zoisite, Kunzite, and Endymion and he had Zoisite in the palm of his hands. It was just a matter of time before his goals came to fruition.

Queen Beryl looked up curiously when Danburite entered the throne room. "You've returned empty handed I see," she said, mild disappointment evident in her tone. "I though you would be bringing Jadeite with you."
Artemis looked over at Usagi, she was always the overly optimistic one. "It's possible... The Ginzuishou certainly left power within Luna and myself."

Ami thought to herself 'if we could just figure out what it is that made us transform the first time. Maybe then we could figure out a way to do it again'.
Minako shrugged. This was turning out to be more difficult then she thought it would be. "if the Ginzuishou left power in you two then why would it not leave powers in the rest of us."

Mamoru started walking with Jadeite away from Zoisite until they were far out of his [Zoisite's] hearing range. "Were you two lying to me?" Mamoru bluntly asked, hoping to surprise Jadeite into guilt with the abruptness of his question. There was no way that nothing had gone on in there, not to mention the two were flashing suspicious looks at each other from time to time. There was definitely something going on and Mamoru just couldn't shake the feeling.
Usagi nodded happily, "If our memories were still left with us since the past life then we should have at least a bit of our powers too!" Maybe they were finally getting somewhere. In the beginning, Luna had basically given her the power to henshin without a problem, but now that both Luna and Artemis didn't know everyone should be able to think up something together.

Jadeite was so startled by the question that he abruptly stopped walking. He had forgotten how hard it was for him to hide anything from the Master. He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked down at the ground. He tried, but he couldn't hide the guilty look on his face. "Well..." He said quietly. "I'm sorry, Master. I really didn't interact with the man. In fact he didn't even seem to notice me." He continued, not really knowing how much he should say. "But, I am a little worried about Zoisite. I think that he somehow knows that man, and he has been acting a little strange since we left that place."

Rei nodded in agreement with what the others said, but her mind had drifted back to her visions. "I'm still concerned with this other Shitennou I saw..." she said quietly. She paused for a moment while she considered what could be done to find out more about him. "Usagi, has Mamoru ever mentioned anything like that? Would he remember anything about another Tennou from the past?"
