Unfamiliar with the boy, she flashed Daniel an exasperrated look. The information about Pandora was to be kept secret at all costs. Until Reiko knew a bit more about him, she would prefer if he was kept at least a bit in the dark. She stifled a sigh and tried to smile reassuringly. "He speaks the truth. Pandora is only...away for a little while. I am to lead in her place until she decides to find her way back." Her tone was merely informative and spoke nothing of her private frustration. That particular information was for no one's ears or mind. "Now what did you come here to see the Mizukage about?" Reiko, herself, was a bit uncertain as to the happenings of the village. She'd just returned from a mission when all of these disturbing events took place. She was unfamiliar with many of the younger faces: a fact which irritated her. Why hadn't she stayed better informed?

Daniel removed the kunai from Cale's hand and layed it down in front of him, he then moved in next to the face of Reiko and nodded
"know that the people of Kirigakure only follow you if they know that you have to take over until Pandora returns, Reiko-sama, they won't take your orders if they think that Pandora is still around"
he walked towards the exit and sighed
"well, you'll be able to handle it i guess, Reiko-sama, i'll see you at the stadium-meeting this afternoon"

Cale looked up at Reiko, then turned to his kunia. He grabbed it and put it away. He then turned his attention back to Reiko as he asked, "Well I was wondering if you can give me somethign to do." Cale paused for a moment but then continued saying, "Because, I got nothing to do today and I'm not on a genin teams, so yea thats pretty much it."

Reiko smiled reassuringly at the young boy while nodding her understanding at Daniel. "Well! I'm sure we can think of something...I believe that I just sent Haruko and Ryoku out on a mission to collect some poison samples." She thought for a moment. "It would be appropriate to put you on their team. But until they get back, I might have just the job for you." She walked to her desk, pulling out some papers. After a few moments of shuffling, she smiled. "Ah...There we go." Her soft voice was hard to hear across the large office. Walking back, she handed him the paper. "Suzuki Yuki needs someone to walk her dog for a few days. I'm certain you can handle that. Report to me when you've finished. Suzuki just left today, so you'd better head over soon to get the first walk out of the way."
[Dog Walker
Client: Suzuki Yuuki
Description: Suzuki is going out of town to visit with her relatives. She'll be gone for three days. During that time, she'll need someone to walk her dog, Pochi. She's left instructions that her precious Pochi is to be catered to and walked at least a mile for each of the three days. Do not let anything happen to that dog! Pochi is also a little mischievous, so be aware of any tricks she might pull in order to escape and cause trouble.
Objectives:
- Walk Pochi for a mile each day for three days
- Protect Pochi from anything that might hurt her
- Protect anything from Pochi that she might want to hurt

Cale took the paper and examined it carefully so that he wouldn't miss anything else. When he was done he gave it back to Reiko and said, "Thanks a whole lot. Now that I'm out of the hospital, i can continue to do whatevers needed in the village." Cale then turned and walked out the door and onto the streets. Now to Suzuki's house. he thought as he started walking to the housing area of the village.

Karite walked into the kages office, true he was ANBU, but the village needed him more to teach the future Shinobi. Then so be it, thats what he would do. For now he had to wait for his team to be chosen.

Beside that note sat another, adressed to Karite. Quote: Karite, you are in charge of team three, if any pressing matters arise see me in training area 13. You are assigned area 17. Good luck. Karite was a little down, but he knew that nothing interesting was going to happen They hadn't had a mission in forever. Oh well.

Seiko entered and sat down at his desk. He grabbed the two notes that he left behind and the crumpled them up. Tossing them in the waste basket. He turned on his desk light and began to scribble at papers and sign his name on seals and scrolls. This is what he had been reduced to. A never ending flow of paper work. He was fine with it and normally could finish all of it in a few hours worth of work but still it aggravated him. He sighed silently and stopped to look at his hands. They were dirty and a little wrinkled from all the water they had been submersed in today. He thought back to the days that he was first learning his water techniques and how much time she spent in the water trying to hone and master those skills. How many days did he spend out there in the ocean, how many hours did he rest in between?
"I hope I can do better than the previous kage..."
Seiko looked up at a picture of her and then went back to his paper work.

Shuffling through papers he comes about the list of mission request that he has been given. Basic thing from find lost cats to infiltration missions. He'd rather give some of these to more experienced teams... but he has no choice. The decline of the village is obvious and it even appears that he himself will have to participate in low ranking missions again.
Seiko heaves a slight sigh and rolls his eyes. Oh how he hated the days of being a genin. Almost as much as he hated the academy...

Seiko had fallen asleep on the desk on a stack of signed paper. When he woke up it was about noon. He stood up and grabbed the scroll that had the mission for his team. He left another note on the door. Quote: Gone on a walk, will return in soon. -Kawanami Seiko Mizukage As he left he left behind his robes and his hat. He did however bring the blade that we slung around his shoulder and headed to meet his team

Reiko entered the office after a soft knock. Looking around and seeing no one, she was initially a bit disappointed. She had hoped to speak a bit more with the new Mizukage. Her eyes swiftly spotted a note that had been left on his desk. She crossed the room gracefully, pausing only long enough to read it and smile. She closed the door quietly behind her as she left the office. So, he was already learning to escape? Good for him. Her heart felt lighter than it had in a long time. Mostly because she was no longer the focus of everyone's attention. No more "Mizukage-sama". It was back to plain "Reiko". She couldn't be happier. So the ghost of a smile lingered on her lips as she headed back into the sunlight.

Returning to the office he placed his sword on the stand he hand next to his desk and put back on his robes and hat. He sat behind the desk and look on to the mist and the sun setting behind them. It was beautiful and the mix of colors were something that he had never gotten use to. He turned back around and faced his desk and began to get the paper work in order for the tournament. It was going to be an interesting battle, many of the finest from all over the county were going to be here, in the Hidden Mist. And this was the time to prove their strength.

Karite had told all the members of the ANBU of the kages message. He had wasted almost half his chakara getting around all the places he had to go. Karite dropped down and grabbed the seal of the kages office window. "Good day Seiko, I am here. I have also told Rei and Boss about your request. Unfortunatly, I couldnt leave the sand-nin with my team so I brought him with me." Karite said throwing the boy down inside and climing in himself.
