Yuri looked down at her, hearing her apologize and not hearing an answer to his question...though he did not wait for one to come because if it did then it would definitely have been forced. He took his left hand, which was the one not supporting her back, and wiped the lood off from her chin starting at the lowest part it had run to. He wiped the blood on his pants and then wiped her tears the same way...both silently. He pulled out of his pocket a white bandage that he had obviously nevr used, from the color of it and the clean cut of the end of it as he pulled it up to his mouth and stretched it out, letting it drop from his mouth and begining to bandage her arms with his one arm. "You've nothing to be sorry about you know..." he replied to what she'd said, with such a delayed response though even through the silence it might have been easy to be lost at first as he spoke. "I'm helping because I feel responsible, and you did nothing to Suka...so there's nothing to be sorry about...". When he finished with her left arm he pulled the bandage tape up to his mouth and ripped it with his teeth again, making a jagged edged cut on it that he grabbed with his teeth as he finished wrapping her arm, beginning to do the same for her other one afterward. His grey fox tail was laying limp beside them, but his ears were hidden by his hair, hopefully the scent of his tail still overthrew the scent of his ears even for a cat...though he didn't care-it was not like he was the violent type.

Suka looked up at her and blinked once. "I don't speak-" he coughed up some blood but wiped it aay and threw it on the ground as if it were mud, "-japanese..." What he had said was in a language that he did not know, he knew that he had meant something horrible but he didn't understand it, so the most he understood about the harsh words were that they were in japanese. He sat up straighter and looked at her with an expression that asked why she was even near him at the moment...would she not just be hating him right now if he did not know her? Shouldn't it have been that much easier for her that they were the differing species of Wolf and cat? He was not about to receive an answer from her...maybe she would say smething about his reply to her-but if she was then he wanted to add something on first...he was not in the mood to lie to her-or to hide anything from her, so before she could reply he spoke once more. "I don't...understand what I said-but it wasn't good....I know this because of my shame in having spoken them-" more blood came out this time, but he just let it g, he was used to bleeding like that by now, it was just annoying after so many injuried that caused it. "-spoken them towards you." He lookd at the ground for a moment, and then grabbed a handful of grass ripping it out of the ground as he stood, e looked in it as he wobbled in place, dropping it where the stream of blood was headed toward him, and the grass hit the ground just where the blood wa about to reach, causing it to spread like pigeons in the park. He looked down at it as it did so, and then looked at his torn clothes...the were torn badly just from Yuri's attack...the fox shouldn't have made himself a part of the conflict...he was obviously close to being able to change form-for moments after he'd shot him into the ground he did just that. Maybe this would have been easier if he'd completed the last two attacks...maybe he'd just be able to go on his way. He couldn't really count on that being truly what would have happened, because Kana would be more injured and him less...but yet if Karin still was over near him at the moment, then how could he just assume that she'd let him leave if he'd done any more? He decided not to think about it...she was cat-he wasn't supposed to be able to understand the way she thought.

Risa was looking at the sky and she closed her eyes. When she did so she could hear every voice around her. She smiled at this because she found out that only her dark magic isn't working. Next she heard Livvy's voice and jumped up and down. "Livvy!!! Over here!!!" Risa yelled. She was also hoping that she could sing later.

Meanwhile Rosa and Daisuke were in the same area but far away from Risa and the others. Rosa was very exicited becuase she thought of this time with Daisuke as a 'date'. Next Daisuke took a large towel and put it on the ground and lower Rosa down next to him. Rosa looked at him she could see pain. "Are you ok?"
"Why are we here? We are on a mission."
"So? We are students here too. WE can have fun."
"Fun...what about Risa-chan.."
"Relax. She is with her friends. I trust them. They are all good people."
"So...Risa is in danger and as--"

Rosa put a finger on Daisuke's lips and put a lil flower on his lips. Next she looked into his eyes and said
"Hehehe. I Missed you."
Daisuke's face turned red. He wanted to say something sweet back to Rosa but the words couldn't come out of his mouth. Next he stood up and took the flower off of his lips. "Lets go do something..like..games or you can do that singing thing."
Rosa stood up with a sad look on her face. Next she looked at daisuke with longing eyes and softly said, "Allright..whatever you want."
With Rosa's actions Daisuke felt hurt inside but everytime he tried to do something his heart said that the government told him not to do. Daisuke took Rosa's hand and smiled sweetly at her. Then he started walking with her. They were heading for the games but they were to appear everywhere.

Livvy heard the sound of Risa's voice and looked in the direction it came from. In the distance, she could see the purple-haired girl jumping up and down, trying to get their attention. Livvy slung her arm around Minami's and pulled her in the direction of Risa's picnic blanket.

"Hey, Risa," Livvy said as they arrived and took a seat on the blanket. "How'd you get here so fast?"

Minami nodded, wondering the same thing. "It's so crowded. I'm surprised you found a decent spot."

Suixing, nervously clutching a picnic basket, looked around for her friends. A while later, she saw Ringa, Lili, Nali, Mumi, Yashi, Toshi, and Yuhike all sitting in a circle under the shade of a Sakura tree in full bloom. Suixing gracefully walked over to where everyone was. "See? I told you Suixing would be nice for the Kimono Show!" Said Yashi. "No....i dont think so Yashi..." Said Suixing. Yashi frowned, and asked,"Why not?" Nali answered for her. "Suixing's a bit too shy for the kimono show..." She said. Suixing nodded slightly, then sat down between Yashi and Ringa. "I brought food,"Suixing began softly,"Let's eat!" Everyone dug in.

After eating, everyone just sat around, watching the Sakura petals fall. It was beautiful, and somehow resembled pink snow. "Come with me," Yashi whispered into Suixing. Suixing nodded, then followed Yashi. Ringa noticed, and then smiled. So Yashi was finally going to admit his feelings to Suixing. Ringa nodded, meaning she noticed their departure.

[Ah, it was her arms that were injured... not her legs. I'll pretend you're fixing her arms?]
Kana's eyes blinked and then followed his hand as he moved it, and then her eyes shut for a moment until he'd finished. She kept them shut as she felt him bandaging up her injuries and didn't move, not wanting to make things for difficult for him, since she could tell he was only doing it with one hand. Her ears twitched slightly as he spoke again and she bit her lip nervously, not sure what to say or do. She felt really odd and her face was still red. Why was this complete stranger helping her, and why would he feel responsible? Also, if she really hadn't done anything to offend Suka, then why had he attacked her in the first place? She didn't understand how it'd happened. Her eyes were still shut as she gripped the bottom tightly with her hands, the left one still with a gash along the palm. The fabric of her shirt was pressing into it, but she didn't let go. She was trying not to cry anymore since her tears had been wiped away and she didn't want to renew them again. Her nose was much too full of the scent of blood for her to even begin to sniff out that he was part wolf as well.

Aura walked along the rows of cherry trees with a bad slung over her shoulder. She was looking for a tree with no one under it so that she could relax. It had been a long time since she had last seen cherry blossoms in bloom and this was her very first festival. She had never owned a kimono before so she didn't have one to wear, but she did put on a nice dress and came prepared with a picnic lunch.

Finding an empty tree, she plopped her bag down in the grass, reached in, and pulled out her blanket. She spread it down and then sat down. She had brought along a few books and her sketch pad and couldn't wait to sit down and dig in to both. Her way of resolving which to begin with was a quick eeney meany miney moe game and landed on doing an art project.

She opened her her sketch pad, laid it out, and then pulled out her new art tool: a sumi ink brush and bottle. She then proceeded to paint an ink image of the cherry trees and hoped she wouldn't mess up. It would be a disgrace to the beautiful day.

Karin glanced back towards the male and Kana for a second as she heard him speak and then sighed quietly, raising her head to face Suka again and wincing as he coughed up blood. She still had tears running down her face, and her shoulders were shaking very slightly as she tried to hold them back. Her ears were drooping and didn't perk as he spoke like they normally would have. Instead they remained flattened sadly to her head. Her eyes widened very slightly again as he replied and then finished his reply before she could speak up at all. She just stared at him for a moment, the tears seemingly falling faster down her face than before.

For a moment she just stared blankly forward, but snapped out of it and looked quickly back at him as he stood. She inched backwards slightly, straightening her back as she remained on her knees, eyes upon him once more. She blinked a couple times, her hands still clenched tightly in her lap. She wasn't sure what to say, or what she should do. She didn't know what he was thinking either and the silence between them made her shiver. Then she very slowly got to her feet, still standing about three feet in front of him, and avoiding the blood that had been moving towards him. She stared at the ground, one hand clenched by her side and the other over her stomach, and then very slowly lifted her tear stained face so she was looking at him again. "Are... are you ok?" she asked faintly, her voice just a whisper and nothing more.

She wasn't even sure what she was thinking any longer. Of course she was pissed at him. She was almost more angry than any time before. This probably rivaled the rage she felt the night her parents had died, since Kana was like a little sister to her, and Suka also had no reason at all to attack her in the first place. But then, she also felt guilt. If she hadn't asked that they come to this place, this wouldn't have been able to happen. Of course she also felt sad, mostly because he'd yelled something at her that he didn't even know, so she could only stand there and imagine the millions of possible things it could have been. A very small part of her was relieved as well, that it'd ended and everyone was still alive. Though, she wasn't sure what condition Suka was in. He'd stood, but wobbled for a moment, and his clothing was ruined. She'd never really seem him in poor condition before, besides when he'd gotten the holy energy.

Asuka laughed nervously and slowly, almost hesitantly, sat back down. Her face was a bit sweaty as strands of her pale brown hair stuck to it. Her slender hands smoothed out her honey kimono and she looked up, smiling. "NAHHH. I was just being stupid. No need for apologies." The neko fell back onto the grass, wiggling slightly. Kisa felt as if she could feel an anime sweatdrop running down her head. Split personality? The blonde looked around and noticed a karaoke stage, her face brightening. She could go sing with Asuka! Asuka's voice was deep and entrancing, making people want to sink into the melody of her songs, while Kisa's was high-pitched and enthusiastic, which is good for depressed people to feel better. Together, they actually sounded great. Kisa actually sounded like her voice, high-pitched and youthful (Like, 8 XD). Asuka's was much different, her regular voice being quite scratchy and sarcastic.

"Asuka-channnn!" Kisa squeaked, summoning the rare '-chan' to gain her trust. The neko glanced at the blonde, her gothic look appearing. "I'm scared. What do you want?" Occasionally, Asuka sounded quite evil. She did really have a split personality, which she considered that her personalities were then split into another two. So she thought of herself having four; hyper, average person, gothic/evil and playful. Yes, hyper and playful were different for Asuka.

Kisa beamed. "Let's go sing karaoke!" She screamed, her blonde hair bouncing a few seconds after Kisa did so. The honey-eyed girl's face turned bright red. "S-s-s-s-sing?! ON STAGE?!" Her voice cracked as Kisa's smiled became bigger. As the grin grew, the blonde's bubblegum pink lip gloss shimmered. "Yeah! Don't worry, I'll be right there with ya'!" Asuka nodded at her friend's comforting words. She stood up with Kisa and the blonde turned around.

"Sorry for abandoning you." She said politely, bowing quickly. Her blonde hair flipped over and she blushed.

These two… they where very different, but they both where good people. Maybe just maybe these where the friends Wisp had been looking for the young Seira. Could it be possible that they might help Seira learn her heart up once again? Then maybe… she could learn to speak again…to cry…to laugh…and most importantly to smile again. Wisp wish for nothing more than to see Seira’s happy smile… the smile she had not seen in over six. Seira meant a lot to Wisp. She had given her the ability to feel emotion, given her a real body her own, and Seira was the one who gave Wisp life. Wisp cared more about Seira than any normal android would be able to even though Wisp wasn’t human, to her Seira was like a little sister… her family. She would do anything to protect her.

It seemed like it was about time to give Seira pushing the right direction. Jumping off Joseph’s should the little droid ran over to Seira. It took several minutes of discussion, with much disagreement by Seira with her motions and her eyes. But after what seemed like forever, pulling lightly on the sleeve her kimono Wisp finally managed to get Seira to join Rachel and Joseph on their picnic blanket. She didn’t seem nervous, but you could tell that by just looking at her it like Seira was trying to hide herself in an invisible shell. She sat quietly with Wisp on her lap braiding the little androids hair.

Not good not good...need to break the tension. Wisp though hurriedly of something to discuss. “So um.... do you both attend this school as well? If so what brings you to Ria? Do you both of you have specially abilities?”

She stroked her brush across the paper. First large lines then small ones. She found herself losing control of the ink a bit, but luckily she was able to catch it in time before causing any true ruin to the image she was creating. After a few minutes, she was finally able to get most of the trees she saw in there, but the painting still seemed empty. Thinking about what to do, she came to a solid conclusion and set her brush down and sat back against the tree trunk.

She needed people in her painting. After all, what was a sakura festival without the people who frequent it? Aura carefully let her eyes scan the small groups of people sitting under each tree. Who were the right people to use as models? She needed people who were energetic and really captured the happiness that is supposed to be a festival. There were a few students messing around under one of the trees that seem perfect.

"I hope they don't leave," she mumbled as she set herself up to paint again. She let her eyes drift up and back down towards her paper. Up and down, up and down. She was worried that the people might feel like she was staring, so she tried not to look up too often, and yet she still ended up looking at them.

She heard one of them shout about karaoke and smiled inwardly. These people were perfect models.

Joseph smiled as Seira finally joined him and Rachel at their spot around the blanket. I knew it! he thought to himself, grinning. My intuition is never wrong. Rachel could tell he was patting himself on the back mentally, and just heaved a very irritated sounding groan in response.

"I'm not a student here like Rachel, I'm just visiting for the festival," Joseph explained. "But you mentioned special abilities?" he asked with a grin. "I thought you'd never ask!" Springing up from his seat, he flashed a smile before taking a deep breath. "All right, check this out!" Concentrating for a moment, a faint feeling of energy rippling around Joseph's physical form could be felt. Then, all at once, his skin began to warp and harden as it turned a shade of dark brown - within moments, Seira and Wisp were looking at a boy whose body was composed of solid wood. Rachel seemed utterly unamused, having seen this spectacle a thousand times over.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Joseph said with a grin, thumping his chest a few times to demonstrate how hard it was. "My strength is increased several times in this form, and the tree bark is pretty good natural armor too. Also, I regenerate." Reverting back to normal, he sat back down. "Besides that, I've got a sort of 'spider sense' type ability to sense impending danger..." He paused, glancing over to Seira and smiling before continuing on. "And, of course, there's my way with the ladies."

Rachel had been trying to think of a way to avoid answering the question up until this point, but her prospects weren't looking very good. Under pressure, Wisp would likely continue pressing the issue, and Joseph would almost certainly push her into revealing her abilities anyway - he always made a point of irritating her whenever he got the opportunity. Sighing, she quickly caused two copies of her arms to sprout up from the ground. They reached for the teapot and the cup she'd been using, poured some more tea, handed her the cup, and then disappeared back into the ground.

"I don't really like it, but that's my power," Rachel muttered. "I can clone other body parts too." She gave a sort of annoyed glance at her brother. "I knew he'd just make a big scene and make me show you anyway, so there it is. Also..." Before continuing, Rachel closed her eyes, running a hand through her hair. As her hair cascaded through her hands, the color shifted from brown to black - furthermore, when she opened her eyes, they had changed color from green to blue. "I can alter my appearance, but only within certain limits."

Rachel didn't bother saying any more than that, as she wasn't generally comfortable with showing off her powers in front of other people. Joseph nodded, figuring she'd already done the work of embarrassing herself in front of Seira and deciding she didn't need his help. Turning back to Wisp, he smiled. "So what about you two?"

Ame walked beside the others, still feeling slightly embarressed by Lancaster kissing her. Actually, that was an understatement. She was extremely embarressed and was glad that there were so many things to look at. She was sure her face was the color of a ripe tomato, possibly even redder.

But oh! How wonderful it was to be outside. Even Ame had to admit that she was glad the sky was clear on this particular day. The sun show through the drizzle, casting dazzling shadows upon the ground. The wind blew softly, causing the blossoms to rain down gentle upon the vast crowd of picnickers. Ame sighed, lifting her head towards the blossoms. "Its so pretty!"
******************************

Meanwhile under their tree, Melody and Leila continued to talk. Melody found it extremely easy to talk to Leila. Perhaps it was because Leila was so quiet? But that didn't matter, to Melody it felt as if she were really listening.

"Yeah, I found out about my powers when I was a little girl. I made a bunch of old people in wheel chairs dance after I started singing this Irish Jig type song." She giggled slightly into her iced tea. "Mom nearly flipped out, but when she found out what was going on she was really happy"

Leila smiled slightly in her shy-mannered way. "I found out about mine when I was young as well," she paused collecting her words and then continued to speak. "Mama was hugging me, and then she just started convulsing. I let go of her and she had burn marks all up and down her..." she trailed off. She didn't want to continue.

Melody noticed as well, and nodded her head solemnly. "Thats rough, don't worry you don't have to talk about it."
**********************************************

Ame stood walked happily beside the others, now feeling less embarressed. Cat seemed overjoyed as well. She kept pointing to various people, gasping and oohing and ahhing. Lancaster remained his normal semi-serious self although he had a small smile on his face. Tsuki was in her cat form, still perched atop his head.

"Lets make some new friends!" Ame said gazing around at the people as if looking for a particular target. She pointed towards two girls who were talking under a tree. One girl had long pink hair and looked fairly tall. The other girl had medium length silver hair, and she was wearing a black outfit that covered every inch of her skin save her face. Ame made her way towards the girls, almost dragging Cat along with her as she walked.

Rivera shrugged. "After this picnic, I suppose. This is a break for all of us. I'm just not sure exactly how I'll go about teaching you everything I learned in the space of a month to fit into about... oh... two or three days. And I only got to look at each statement once, at a glance. I don't know how you're going to know all that... but I suppose worrying about it now won't do anything better, right?" She smiled and streched. "It's so great to be able to see again! I really shouldn't take my vision for granted." Rivera placed a hand to the side of her head casually, as if just brushing aside some loose hair. She was really checking for her temperature. Healing Kira had helped her as well. The fever that she had contracted earlier seemed to have faded off quickly with the temperature drop. She didn't know when it'll come back, but hopefully, it won't be soon.

"What shall we do now, then?"
PostPosted: Fri Aug 25, 2006 1:57 pm

"No idea... But I'm happy you're alright..." Kira said quietly putting his arm around her shoulders again. "So... You know the fashion show is going on right?" He asked. He had seen the lights off in the distance that were usually in place for catwalks. "So... Did you make something good for your kimono?" He asked curiously. He wondered what she would look like in a traditional japanese kimono. "I hope you win..." He added simply. He looked her in the eyes, with his usual gaze meant only for her. I hope she won't have problems training me... He thought worriedly, while his outer appearance portrayed a happy calm appearance.

Aura placed the final stroke of watered down ink onto her painting. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means, but she was proud of herself. The strokes representing tree trunks were solid and the falling sakura blossoms had been protrayed wonderfully with the inky water. The one part that still nagged at her a little bit was the group of people she had painted into the picture. They just didn't come out as they should have and no matter how hard she had tried, the people didn't look lively enough.

Shrugging and giving up, Aura sat back against the tree she was sitting under and let her eyes drift closed. She was so extremely tired. As she was drifting off to sleep, she focused her remaining energy on a single sakura petal next to her painting and blew it around a bit. The wind around the tiny petal only died down once she had fully fallen asleep.
