Kai grunted and leaned against the wall, eyes closed.

"Confused..." Mizu and Taki said in unison. They looked at each other and giggled.

"You go first," They said in unison again. They both giggled again. Kai hid his smile, disguising it as a smirk.

"Mizu will go first!" Taki yelled.

"Darn. Fine. Well, I've been preparing to become the head of the clan since i figured out i was to be it at age 5. I really want to help the people in my clan improve and such, as I do for the Asamoya clans." Mizu paused to sit down on a bench. Taki sat beside her. "But...I really don't want to marry Kai. Knowing Daddy and the other clan elders, they'd probably expect children from us too. Plus, I can't say I love Kai. I want to marry someone I love..." Mizu closed her eyes, concluding her speech.

"I..." Taki paused, not wanting to admit her feelings now of all times for Kai, when he would be standing right there.

"We'll see..." Mizu and Taki said in unison. Kai hned. The twins looked up at the moon, a bright waxing crescent.

Taki joined in, making blue bell petals cascade around it with the lily petals. Blue rose petals joined them soon, as Mizu ripped some petals off the roses that Kai had given her, controlling them through the water that was in the petals. Mizu suddenly 'stole' everything, controlling the lily petals throught the water inside them, and the blue bell petals were water anyway, bringing them to the top of the moon. The petals blew up seperately, each one like a firework.

"C'mon, we should get to bed. I guess all the Asamoya's are living with us now. Kai, do you know where your room is?" Taki asked.

"Hn." He...hned as he walked into the west wing of the estate. Mizu and Taki both went to their rooms, as they knew that Sayuri knew where her room was.

Unbeknowest to the rest of the household, now all sleeping soundly except for the few members of the clan that were guarding the household from intruders, Kai couldn't fall asleep.

Kai was used to restlessness, as he hadn't gotten more than 6 hours of sleep a night since he had been seperated from the rest of his clan. As a young boy, he cried himself to sleep every night, and after he started at the academy, and growing cold and emotionless, the sleeping habits just stuck. Kai sighed softly, it was at this time he usually reminised the day's happenings, and when he allowed his emotions to flow freely. He closed his eyes, deep in thought. I met my cousin today, and was reunited with the rest of my clan. I learned of an arranged marriage...and learned of Taki's feelings for me, sure, she didn't state it, but it was kinda obvious by the way she was acting, and has been acting for the past year. Mizu, on the other hand, doesn't care for me as more than a sparring partner, I can't say I care for her any more either, truthfully, but she really wants to be the head of the clan...she's much better prepared than Taki. And of course, I'm stuck between it all because of an idiotic arranged marriage that determines who will be the clan head... Sighing to himself, he allowed sleep to finally overcome him.

Mizu and Taki still lay sleeping quietly in their beds, unaware of what perils would come to them in their mission.

In Taki's room, the sun began to stream in through her bluebell-embroidered curtians. With a yawn, she awoke, and, after having showered and brushed her teeth, she went to wake up Mizu and Kai.
