Aren't Baneblades Guard only though? Can't really see a bunch of grrrls drive around in a beast like that. It would need more flamers.

Apocalypse knows no bounds based on armies... i could buy a baneblade for my nids... eldar could have space marine titans, tau with biotitans (ok well kinda)... all you need is a good enough reason why...

Using an allied Baneblade is not the same as letting a completely different army use a Baneblade. I could see Guard allied to Eldar or even Tau, Tyranids is a bit tricky but I can see a Baneblade and PDF being infiltrated by a Genestealer Cult and being indoctrinated into the Cult of the Hive.
Of course this is Apocalypse so you can get away with a lot, but not everything imho.
I could see the Baneblade being inducted by the Inquisition to fight alongside attached Sororitas elements.

Inquisitors can requisition pretty much anything, so no need to worry about fluff. IDK about rules for fielding Baneblade, but wasn't it a detachment on its own?

The thing is, you can stick all the fancy bits on it as much as you like but it is still a BS3 tank using the IG rules found in the Apocalypse book. Unless you plan on using it in friendly matches making overt conversions is kinda pointless.

Im buying a cannones to chop at the waists as the tank commander, and as far as the Balistic skill goes im not very concerned... almost everything is Twin Linked, plus at my local store the biggest threat is the Tau player (Suit heavy Army) and 1 guard player who has one of his own.
