"Your first lesson was effectively ruined, leaving me quite hot and bothered but also frustrated," He stated softly, rubbing his temples as he continued to slide down in the seat. "Jaukk decided that since Darius whimped out on him, he would come in here and 'break you in' for me... but don't worry, he'll never get his hands on you so long as I'm around." He said with a light sigh. Now he was left with a tingling, disturbed body, and a fuming mind.

"Interesting, I wondered what was happening out there for a while, it was too quiet. Although, for a while there I did not really care all that much." He shook himself, seeming to calm down a little bit. He pulled his shirt back over his head, feeing better with it on again, and slumped on the bed. "The idea of Jaukk being my first is really not all that fun," he worried aloud, "I'm afraid of how litteral he would be about 'breaking' me in."

"Jaukk won't be your first, your second, or last. Jaukk... won't be anything but a pest. That you can rest assured of. If he... ever gets too close, threaten him with Mikkael." Maybe smirked lightly, but continued to rub his temples anyway. How was he supposed to help Enyalius get over the mountain of trauma and paranoia that Jaukk had built? Damn demon.

"Are you ok, Maybe?" Enyalius looked worried, was Maybe's head hurting him? It looked like it from the way he was rubbing his temples. "I feel safe with you around, or as safe as I can feel at the moment..." He looked suspiciously at the door, even though his ears told him that there was nobody on the other side. "That's what I get for letting my senses become lax, I suppose." He shrugged, somewhat resignedly.

"Huh? Oh, yes, of course... I'll be fine." Maybe responded off-handedly. The vampire really would get over it, in only a matter of hours... though, he was sure Enyalius would take quite some time to get over it, especially if that was his first intimate experience. Oh boy, he remembered the first time he and Mikkael were interrupted. It was Mikkael's first time then, too, and Jaukk-- who claimed to be as old as dirt himself-- had been the one to interrupt then, too. It seemed the demon had a sexdar that went off when things started heating up with first-timers. "What about you, will you be okay?"

Enyalius shrugged. "Yes, I will be fine." He rubbed his eyes with the back of his paw, wishing his friend Leharl was around. Damn, how long had it been since he last saw him? Three years? Four? He idly wondered where in the universe he was now, and allowed a slight lement that he had never taken things with him as far as they could have gone. "I've seen worse, but that was a little... shocking."

"..." Maybe fell silent as he went from rubbing his temples to placing an arm over his face, slumping in the chair. Why did Jaukk always have to be such a pain in the a**? didn't that demon have more than just Darius around? The demon always seemed to keep at least three around his home, if not more. So, why couldn't he have just gone home and taken his sexual frustrations out on one of them, or better yet, why didn't he just chase Darius down and finish what the feline had started as he usually did? Again, damn... "Have you ever been like that with anyone before, Enyalius? Perhaps not so intimate, but.. you get what I mean, hopefully."

Enyalius shook his head, ruefully. "No, never before. Only once I might have been close. It could have gone farther, but he was called away, and we sort of lost contact." He sighed and laid back on the bed, folding his arms under his head as his tail twitched absently beside him. Why was Jaukk so determined to 'play with' him? He shook his head slightly as he mulled that one over.

"So, you were getting there but got interrupted... I see," Maybe stated softly. It wasn't uncommon for things like that to happen - disruptions and distractions - but that didn't make it any easier to accept when it did happen. "... Well, what if he turns up again?" He asked softly, not jealous, simply curious. If Enyalius chose to be with this other fellow, then so be it. He could understand that, since he had been close before with him. Maybe was used to mortals changing their minds for other mortals. It happened frequently throughout his long, drawn-out years, and he didn't expect it to change all too often. He should have asked questions before even trying to get intimate like he just had with Enyalius. When they were single, had noone else on their mind, noone from the past they had been that close too, things tended to be easier. True, he didn't want to lose Enyalius, but there was nothing he had to offer to make him stay.. and he wouldn't make the feline stay. That would be selfish, greedy, and disrupting free will.

Enyalius sighed. "I have not seen him for years, Maybe. He is a very dangerous person, in a very dangerous line of work. He might not even still be alive." He shifted a little, taking the moment to put his recolections in order. "If he does turn up again, he might not even remember me." His eyes show a little sorrow at that, but one that was under control. "I've learned to live with dissapointment."

"Okay, but putting all that aside, since nothing is known for sure... what if he came back and what if he remembered you and wanted to be with you? I wouldn't stand in the way of that." He said softly, closing his eyes. His body still desired the feline, but he had that well under control. Rubbing his temple lightly, trying to clear his mind from everything-- pleasure and anger-- he gave a very light sigh, one that was only known due to the slight parting of his lips.

"I would probably miss him greatly, but I can not be with him. The same thing that pulled him away the first time may do it at any time again, and I can not accompany him." His tone was resigned. "That was hard for me to accept, really, it took me a long time to understand, but I have come to terms with it. He will always be a friend, but he can never be anything more." His eyes were slightly sad, and he held his tail in his paws, absently combing at the fur with his fingertips. "It is good of you to ask, Maybe, even if it's a little hard for me to talk about."

"Things change, Enyalius..." Maybe offered gently as he stood up and walked over to the large window. "It is always good to prepare yourself by making room for changes, just in case.." He added on, and although it was hard for him to encourage Enyalius to not give up on someone else, he managed through it calmly. Opening the large, glass double-doors, he watched for a moment as the deep crimson velvet curtains began to billow out in the gentle midnight breeze before stepping out onto the large balcony. Walking towards the middle, he could be seen from the inside of the window, leaning on the railing and crossing his legs lightly. It was here, in this exact spot that he made the mistake of not making room for change, effectively ending the relationship between him and his first love... and it was here that he was taken in under her guidance, accepting her proposition of immortality and shelter... It was also here that Mikkael had done the same in accepting Maybe. Too many memories... too many nightmares plagued him each night, even to this very day, that he couldn't stop... things that would haunt him... literally forever.

Enyalius slipped his legs over the side of the bed and rose, padding barefoot out onto the balcony. The breeze ruffled his fur, and his ears twitched involuntarily as the air brushed past the sensitive tips. He leaned against the rail next to Maybe, peering up into the sky, wondering if one of those stars could be seen by Leharl also. "You are right, of course, Maybe. The world does change. Perhaps that is why I am here today, you never know. If I would have been with him, I never would have continued my wandering. I would never have decided to walk around the neighborhood, and I never would have run into this place. Fate works in strange ways, I suppose." HE shrugged. "Maybe he will come back some day, maybe not, but I know if he were here what he would tell me. He would tell me to move on with my life, the same as he told me when he had to leave." He sighed. "Even knowing that, it's still difficult to accept, really."

Maybe didn't move when Enyalius joined him, didn't even glance towards him, his eyes were focused on the moon... just as they had been that night... His first love... was a vampire, but his love had refused to embrace him.. and after the argument, his love's 'Mother'-- seeing as she couldn't be called 'Father' due to the fact she was female-- embraced him instead. After that... he couldn't... couldn't find him, but... there was always this feeling that no matter where he was, he was only just a few steps behind his beloved.. tracing his steps, but never able to catch up. "You can say a thousand words or more, make up five hundred different scenarios that you can play through your mind to find a way to struggle through it... but you can never deny yourself what you truley know deep inside. You know he's alive, Enyalius... I know that feeling, the feeling in the back of your mind. You can never deny the fact that you loved him, and probably still do. Nobody ever forgets that, first love is an unbreakable bond. You know whether they're living or whether they're dead... and you know just how close you are, but always seem to wind up tracing their steps. Perhaps that's why you came here. Tracing his steps, hoping to find him, just knowing that he was here in the general area at some point in time.. and always... always just out of reach."
