Agreed. Naruto hasn't been training for nothing...
Now that Hidan's gone (>> I kinda liked him too... except for the fact he was "immortal") we can get back to Team 7 action..

I don't think Kakuzu and Hidan will BOTH die; however, if one of them does, and the other's in a position that doesn't look too good.. the Akatsuki better send back up. Dx Like.. Deidara and Tobi, or.. Itachi and Kisame.. >>
I mean -- there's ONE jinchuuriki right there! Now would be the perfect chance to catch him!

I think it's safe to say that Hidan is now dead.
But that look on Shikamaru's face -- it seemed so un-Shikamaru-like. So he got his revenge.. now what?
And Kakuzu is screwed.
Really, though -- a giant shuriken? What the hell, Kishi? Sasuke had a giant shuriken, too. When they fight again, are the two of them going to reminisce of how they fought Zabuza together?

1.) Naruto is ******** HOT. *fans self* is actually using his brains a little. It's cool, but again I hope that Naruto hasn't turned into a serious person. I mean, I love Naruto for his antics. <3 And his cluelessness and whatnot.
2.) Kakashi obviously is seeing sensei hallucinations. >> Random Yondy. xD Don't you think that Kakashi has TOO much faith in those kids? Like...Naruto can surpass the fourth, AND Sakura can surpass the fifth? Not saying they can't, but wow. 4.) Hidan...is not dead. I REALLY believe that. It's hard to believe that Sakura AND Sai were BOTH sent to Shika's aid. I think there's going to be a bit more Hidan fighting. If not...well...I won't say my thoughts on that. You Hidan fans would skin me alive. ._.;
As for Kairi's Akatsuki wish. NONONONONONONONO! NO more Akatsuki for now. I want SASUKE. Geez, all because Oro said to let them pick off the Akatsuki...well...:/ It doesn't mean they have to. I personally will hate it if I'm stuck for the next year reading how Team 7 is going to kill of ALLLL the Akatsuki before we see Sasuke for more than two chapters straight. Honestly. ><;
As for the recent wish for ME....I want Ino to kill Kakuzu. Just once. <3 C'mon...she's YAMANAKA INO. Let her kick some Akatsuki a**, too, okay? Chouji too. Though I can't say I'm as big of a Chouji fan as I am of an Ino fan.

Whoo! When Naruto gets intense... well, I can't help but go Hinata all over him. He's actually thinking now! What a major step for Naruto! But I agree with Iia-san - Naruto should remain the happy-go-lucky kid we know and love, and save the seriousness on the battlefield.
The Yondy piccy was win. That made my day. Plus it's his birthday, right? Whoo!
Kakashi's showing a bit more facial skin! Whoohoo! I wish they'd show his face already... but Kishi's already said that Kakashi's mask gives him mystique and won't be showing it to us. Ah well.
Haha, giant wind shuriken. Needs work, but whoa-ha awesome.
Still, we need some female a**-kick-age around here. Ino's doing nothing but scream. Gawd. Kishi never really fails to both disappoint and leave us begging for more in the same chapter. Ino had better kick some Akatsuki butt. Sakura, too.
Hidan's making a comeback, I'm sure of it. How could an Akatsuki get defeated that easily by a Chuunin? Okay, so the Chuunin's a friggin' genius... and Hidan's about as bright as a rain cloud, but still. The AL needs to screen his recruits better.
I agree with Iia-san, again. No more Akatsuki. I'd want Sasuke back before they start picking them off one by one.

Aww, Naruto's thinking. xD I find that oddly cute for some reason. As for Hidan, well I primarily liked him because he always cracked me up. I'm looking forward to see how the anime handles him and his foul mouth. He was a little annoying, but that was a part of his character. Tenshi no Hana-chan and Hidan's about as bright as a rain cloud xDD

And you're not alone in feeling that his death was rushed.. that was just pathetic.
Also, about my Akatsuki wish.. God, no. I don't want ANY of them to be picked off by Team 7. In fact, I don't want ANY of them to be picked off, period. I just want to see them. D:
And face it. Sasuke won't be coming back into the story anytime soon. :/ Naruto's jutsu is only HALF finished.
Feel free to nuke me if I'm wrong, but I'm just not expecting to see him in the near future. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to, because trust me, I do. gonk

Why did Sasuke have Kakashi's seal over his Curse Mark in Naruto's flashback, when the seal was nowhere to be seen during the real encounter? Was it really a mistake, or is there some significance to that?
God, let it be my second guess.. gonk Then again.. he did make Hidan a Leaf ninja at one point, so anything can happen..

But on an optimisitic...maybe...note:
So Naruto, and the Akatsuki, are making it EVER SO OBVIOUS that Naruto contains the Kyuubi.
Meaning, Ino, Chouji, and later on Shikamaru, will probably be in on Naruto's secret.
So, if Team 8 appears after this, maybe THEY will find out about the secret as well (It's going to be a long a** ark against the female Akatsuki member and Zetsu. >> *throws in a nickle in the betting pool*)
So, HINATA is part of Team 8. So maaaybe we'll get to see how Naruto's long-time crusher will react to the fact that the Kyuubi is inside him. xD It's something I've been wanting to know for a long time now~

...but it appears I've run out of ways of saying it again.
That battle... well, call me retarded, but I couldn't piece the scenes together so that it made sense. I suppose Kakuzu's just powerful, but... ah, that battle just left me confused.
Why the hell did it have to happen that way? Why not just let Naruto get it over with already? Hasn't he wasted enough chakra as it is? But whatever... Yamato did okay. It sorta unkilled the chappie for me.
The "Rasenshuriken" is sooooo sad. In the British sense of the word. Really. It's pathetic. I hope we get to see it in action where it actually WORKS. And flies around like a real shuriken. Saaaaad, I tell you.
Looks like Kishimoto never heard my whines of "WHERE'S SAKURA!?" so far. How many times do we have to try till it gets to him!?
This clearly isn't my favorite chapter.
