"Yes. She set out to find a place to keep the drake children after it was apparent that they would not survive in the elevin kingdoms. And because she had to save her husband, Acros the fire dragon." Said Saria as she played with a lock of her hair. "The dragons trusted her and she was entursted with our race.

Draco nodded a bit to what she said, his eyes watching her fingers as they toyed with a bit of her hair. "What ever happened to her husband?" he asked, arching an eyebrow as he moved his gaze to her face now, his fingers still lightly rubbing at the dragon tooth.

"Acros, my Father, Is one of the dragons that ferry drake children across the realms. He's one of the elder dragons so he has the ability to change in to human form. When Profet isn't in the Library she's with him." Said Saria twisting a bit of her hair into a small braid. She looked out over the field before laying back again. "Do you know the reason some drake children arrive here beaten and hurt?"

Draco's eyes once again went back to watching her play with her hair, this time them tracing the braid pattern. "No, I'm afraid I have no idea. Do you?" he asked now, unable to stop watching her for some reason.

"The war that broke out long ago was stopped by the guardian dragons. They created the race of drake children in hopes that we would keep the peace. It wasen't to be, the humans hate drake children. They kill and abuse us and we weren't strong enough to fight back. So we came here. Hate causes pain and that's reflected by the drakes brought dead to this realm only to be buried." Said Saria reciting the information as if reading a book. She crossed her legs and relaxed. "The war goes on only now it's hurtung drake children. But the dragons keep us from harm and Profet sealed this realm from that world to all but the dragons."

Draco nodded, finally looking back at Saria's face. "You seem quite calm about the fact that our race is being hunted to extinction." he said in a deadpan sort of tone. Really, he was thinking back to the heard of drakes he had seen arriving earlier. One missing an eye, one with a tail missing a horn, one covered in a cloak to protect her skin...'twas crazy to see, after he had been raised in such a sheltered fashion.

"That's because we're not being hunted to extinction. We're being brought here so that we may live. The hate that the humans have for us manefested it's self long ago in the form of a dark dragon. That dragon was no friend to us. It began to devour and kill drake children in the name of the humans. The other dragons tried to destory it but they couden't. So, Profet came up with a solution." Said Saria. "We will never die."

Draco listened to what she said, took a moment to absorb it, and nodded a bit. "That's true." he simply said, turning his eyes up to study the starts again. "Do you ever have a desire to see the dragons again?" he asked rather randomly. He tilted his head a little to the right, a bit of his blond hair brushing against his forehead.

"Sometimes. But If I wanted to see them I could if i wanted to climb the mountains." Said Saria.Shr gazed up at the stars again and stretched. "You know, that dragon the humans made had a name.."

Draco smirked a little, finally releasing the dragon tooth in his hand. "Oh really? I bet you're going to tell me what it is." he said in a rather teasing fashion that surprised himself. What happened to the cold, unapproachable Draco that he was supposed to be? How could this girl suddenly make him open up and be almost...nice?

"You already know his name... Infact, you already know him" Said Saria grinning. She sat up indian style and looked at him with a smile.

Draco suddenly furrowed his brow, his smirk slipped from his lips. "...Who?" he asked Saria. He was never really good at guessing games, and the way that she looked didn't put him in the mood for one either.

Saria yawned and scratched her nose. "The dragon was called Skalis." She said.

Draco's brows now rose nearly into his hairline. He rubbed the back of his neck as he sat for a few moments in silence. "...Humans created him, did you say?" he asked softly, eyes curious. His mind felt like it was going a million miles an hour now.

"Half of him." Said Saria. "The drake you know is actually two people. Skalis was the dragon that Profet sealed with in the soul of her second son." She reached in her pocket and pulled out a red leather book and opened it to a page. "It says that the dragon cain't hurt anyone while the drake is in control. Have you ever seen Skalis hurt anyone and seem to enjoy it?"
