"Pikachu, use your Thundershock!" The man yelled. Pikachu smiled, his cheeks sparkling wildly. A burst of weak electricity shot out of them. Vixen jumped to the side, completely missing the attack. She stood there proudly, until the electricity turned around, and hit her in the back.
"What?!" Ryka questioned, amazed by the attack.
"I told you, little girl, I was trained by Lt. Surge. I didn't mean JUST in the army.." The man answered with a chuckle. Ryka scowled.
"Now, Pikachu, use Quick Attack! Run around that Vulpix until it's confused!" The Pikachu did as it was told. It ran, barely visable, around Vixen. "Vixen!" Ryka yelled. Vixen's legs had started wobbling, and she walked crookedly. "Vixen! Use a Confuse Ray of your own!" Vixen shook her head, and opened her eyes. They became swirly and hypnotising.
Pikachu glanced at his opponent to see what her next move would be, but this was a mistake. He saw her eyes, and he felt strange. All of a sudden, he saw the Vulpix, all the way on the other side of the gym. He rushed over, knocking down some trash cans on his way. When he was right in front of Vulpix, he bashed his head into her. But then he felt sharp pains in his head, for he had actually run into the wall. Vixen sat near Ryka, laughing at her opponent.

Mag and Sally had been sitting for some time. Mag decided that he should go check out the town. He quickly zipped up his coat to cover the large R on it and put on his original black and orange hat. He went out into the town.
People were moving about everywhere. They were setting up booths and hanging ribbons and doing all sorts of things. People were setting up a stage for bands to come play on and others were setting up road blocks for a parade or something. "It is too bad that Team Rocket is going to be here. This Festival seems like it could be really fun." Mag mumbled to himself.

Pikachu stood up, rubbing him back where it was sore. He then turned andglared at Vixen, fire burning in his eyes. Vixen stopped laughing when she saw this, and she slowly back up a little bit.
"Now you are getting into it, Pikachu! Try a Quick Attack, and then a Thundershock!" The man said triumphantly. Pikachu rushed over to Vixen at a lightning fast speed. He jumped into the air and launched a Thundershock at Vixen.
"Vixen! Dodge it!" Vixen nodded and jumped out of the way, just in time. But then the lightning started to turn again. "Use quick Attack to get away!" Vixen sat there for a second, then used her legs to launch into the air swiftly. The electricity seemed to miss her, but it hit the tip of her leg. She growled in pain as she landed back on the ground.
Ryka's smile turned into a frown. "Vixen! Are you ok?" Ryka called. Vixen slowly stood and nodded, growling fiercely. Ryka thought, until an attack popped into her head. "Ember!!"
Vixen opened her mouth, and flames spurted out of it. The Pikachu was too tired from previous attacks to move in time, so the flames hit him straight in the chest. He let out a cry, and instantly fell onto the ground, defeated.
"Oh no! Pikachu!" the man called, running out to his Pokemon. "You did a superb job. Have a nice long rest." He said with a warm smile, returning Pikachu to it's pokeball. He then stood up and turned to Ryka. "That was a wonderful battle, young miss. Thank you."
Ryka smiled at the man and picked up Vixen. Ryka patted her head. "You did great too, Vixen. Thank you." Vixen purred a reply, and poked her pokeball with her nose, sucking her back into it. "It was a great battle." Ryka told the man, shaking his hand. She then turned to Jaeshan, and smiled.

Mag sat down on a bench in the park. I wonder what everyone else is doing right now... They all did say they would meet up at the festival. Maybe I can skip out on the Team Rocket schemes and meet them. But I still have to figure out what this Machine does. Mag thought to himself.
He began to walk back towards the base. Hopefully he could access a computer and do some file searching for more information about the SM Project. It would be nice find out what they had done so far and if maybe he could get the machine to work again.

Ace and Blu entered the pokemon center. They both noticed that the pokemon centers in Kanto were a little bigger and more hi-tech.
Ace and BLu handed the nurse their pokeballs and sat on one of the couched in the waiting room.
"Who was that?" Blu asked recalling what had just happened.
"Sabrina. Y'know, Saffron's Psychic Gym Leader."
"That was sabrina? Why did she help me?"
"Are you saying you didnt want her to? She does things like that but then gives attitude, that is why I told you not to talk to her after."
Blu remained silent at this as the nurse returned their pokeballs with a hardy Come again!.
The both exited the pokemon center to the main street which, in Ace's opinion, was a little too quiet.

Ace and BLu headed east down another path.
Upon entering the new city, the first thing Blu noticed was a radio tower, slightly smaller than in Goldenrod.
"Isnt this city..."
"Haunted? Not anymore. They moved the cemetary." Ace said as the two went into the pokemon center.

"Wow, that was great!" Jaeshan applauded. "You really are a great trainer too!. Um, excuse me, sir?" he asked the gentleman who'd just been defeated. "Could you possibly give us a hint about the switches in the cans?"
The gentleman chuckled. "Sure, why not. You need to activate two of them in order to face our Leader. And I'll tell you this. When you find the first switch, the second switch will always be in one of the cans right next to it. That's all the help I can give you," he added, pointing to the rows upon rows of trash cans.
"Well now, that is helpful," Jaeshan nodded. "Thank you!"

Mag had returned to the Base and had wandered about for a while. There were many rooms and people seemed to be in all the ones that had a computer in them. Mag was getting frustrated and was about to turn back when he found another room that was empty and had a computer inside.
He glanced around and then went inside locking the door by putting a chair in front of it. It was a ground floor room with a window so he could get out if he had to. Mag cautously walked up to the computer. It was already on and it had a nice normal feel to it. He opened up the file registry.

"Yeah but it seems my trainer doesn't have the sense to get unlost." Meowth said sarcastically.
Dante glared at him before responding. "Ignore him. Actually we didn't meen to come to the desert. I actually ment to go to Lavaridge town. That is near here right?" He asked some what worried that he had gotten them and himself hopelessly lost, again.

"Lavaridge? Oh that is pretty close to here." Hikaru said as she thought for a moment. "You don't have to go through the desert to get there you should take Route 112 and ride on a cable car to the top of Mt. Chimney then go down Jagged Pass and into the town." Hikaru said, sorry that he had gone in the wrong direction.
"Why did you wanna go there anyway?"

Dante sighed slighlty in relief when he heard that he wasn't completely lost. "Ah, well I am going there because I heard there was a legendary pokemon researcher there and I wanted to speak to him and find out what he knows is all." He smiled slightly at the thought and his resent spotting of Articuno which had only feed fuel to his allready large Legendary pokemon fire. Shaking his head slightly he looked at Hikaru and asked curiosly. "So you live out here in the desert? Is that hard?"

"Legendary pokemon? I heard a rumor that there is one trapped inside some ruins in the southern end of the desert. There is this huge rock formation with a large rock in the center and 6 smaller rocks surrounding it." Hikaru said eager to tell the story.
"It isn't very hard out here. There is no property tax or anything since no one likes the desert much. I only have to worry about getting food. Worst comes to worst I call my parents." Hikaru said with a little laugh. "Ah! Here we are, home sweet home." She said.
The four had come upon the semi-shabby looking shack. It wasn't much and the wood was a bit old and worn by sandstorms but the roof still held and all the seals were still good enough to prevent sand and other foreign objects from entering the place.

Excited to hear about another legdenary pokemon Dante thought for a moment wondering which one it could be. After a moment he said. "It is probably Regirock. It is supposed to be somewhere around here after all." He thoughtfully. When the house Dante looked up at it curiosly. " Have you ever gotten burried by sand in here?" He asked curiosly. It seemed like a likely thing what with all the sandstorms and all.

((We are the only people still at night. Dinner time. BRB ))
"Regirock? Sounds cool. We have unfortunatly gotten trapped by a sandstorm once or twice. But Rativral was always able to dig a way out for us." Hikaru stated with a yawn. She looked at her watch. "Wow it is pretty late. We should go in a rest up, you can sleep on the couch if you want."

Dante looked kind of nervous at that. One of his biggest fears was actually getting buried alive. And knowing his luck they probably would get burried. Maybe he could kick Meowth out to dig if that happend. He snikkered slighlty at the thought but smiled and thanked Hikaru. "Thanks for letting me stay here for the rest of the night. Hope I am not to much of a bother. If you want in the morning I can take us somewhere for breakfast?" He asked hoping to not be that much of a bother about staying there.
