I don't have a problem with Chloe not telling Lois, but the fact is that Lois is consistently left out of Chloe-related arcs. Their relationship is never tested by this stuff; at the very least it would make sense to have Clark ask Chloe whether she wants to tell Lois and then we can have an explanation - "no, because [whatever]," which reinforces, yes, Chloe has love for Lois, yes, there's a reason Lois doesn't know.
Ideally, though, there would be a scene where Lois finds out that something's going on with Chloe and if the writers don't want her to know what that is, she can just tell Chloe "if you ever wanna talk, you know where I am". We haven't had a massive amount of meaningful cousins interaction this season; I'd like to see something like that.

`Chloe Sullivan` actually they DO spend a lot more time together. Clark doesn't have to hide anything from her and he doesn't have to explain his five second timings of arrival. Chloe is the one person who Clark is free to be himself around with out being secretive. Clark has always wanted to be normal and not have to hide who he really is, which he is able to do whenever he is around Chloe. Good point there. Same with Pete through season 2 and 3. Even though Pete had very little screen time. uhh anyways back on subject. I'm really sick of what they have done to Lana. You think maybe its time to not have her as a regular and put her as a guest star? I mean she doesn't do much in the story. Well just stating my opinion.

She is one of the leading people in the smallville series.
If they were to make her a guest star I would think Kristen would take offence to it and leave.
IMO.

Not necessarily. She might like the time to pursue other projects while keeping a semi-stable job on Smallville.

Fetu is right. Tom mentioned last year around the time of the hundredth episode that Kristen was REALLY hoping for time off and would not complain at all if her character got the boot. She was actually hoping her character would die so that she would be able to extend her acting career. But it was the Directors who weren't ready to see Lana go unfortunately.

Darn directors this would have made the day for us Lana Hater's. emo

I thought fake Lana in Labyrinth was hilarious, and I liked her in Freak.
The rest of the past few seasons ... not so much.

SaberFireTiger I like Lana.... just not all the time. She is aggrevating but I have come accustomed to seeing her. She is that, but the more I watch the show the more I realize I like her with Lex. That is the only reason I so much as tolerate her part of the story is because she is with Lex. I have to stomach putting her in my fanfic and that is just going to annoy me so much.

Sure, not a full supporter but I'm just glad that you aren't another Clana fanatic. 3nodding I would have loved to see it the other way around. Clark persuading Lana to get her head drilled, she needs one at times.
