Amari tugged his somewhat bulky form through the last of the undergrowth, scraps of leaves and twigs breaking off and becoming entangled in his mane making him look rather scruffy.
However, when he too, set eyes on the roaring waterfall, and the steam and froth that bubbled up from where it met the river at the bottom he could not help but feel in complete awe.
The jungle was one of his most favourite places indeed and he moved to sit beside the older female, drawing in a deep breath, eyes glazing over at the wonderful sight he was blessed with.
"Wow." He breathed, the tip of his tail swaying slightly as he drank in the view before him.

She smiled at Amari and then walked on looking down at the river below. She laid on the egde of the clifftop with her front paws dangling off the edge. Her eyes were fixed on the bottom of the waterfall and it didn't take long to make up her mind.
She turned to Amari beaming and then made her way down the cliff running as fast as she could wanting to jump into the clear sparkling water. She roared as she ran making birds in near by trees take flight. She briefly looked back to see if Amari was following before making a final leap that landed her in the lake creating a wave of water that covered a couple of feet of land.

He moved with her, standing on the edge of the cliff to gaze down at the water. He shivered a little, taking a small step back, eyes widening when Bakhti began to make her way down. Her roar reverberated in his ears as he followed her, perhaps she was thirsty?
He hopped down onto the last stone and glanced up to see the older lioness leaping into the water. He gave a surprised huff, hazel eyes widening as he pressed himself against the rock.
He watched the water rise up and then felt it against his fur. He bristled and then leapt up onto a higher rock, staring at the water in disbelief. What was she doing?! Oh how he hated water!

Bakhti smiled as she came to the surface and then crawled out of the water her face beaming. She looked voer to Amari who didn't look to happy and laughed. "Whats wrong scared of water?" She laughed as she freely leaped over to him and shook her fur dry sprinkling him with water droplets.
She then laid down on a rock near Amari rolling around playfully as a little cub would. She thought she had found home at last she just wished she would find a male who wanted her now.

Amari pouted and lowered his head, glancing over at his sister with a 'less than amused' look. His ears drooped as he caught her gaze and simply shook his head. "Water is...cold." He muttered, and jumped sideways as she began to roll around, droplets of water flying off and landing on him.
"Hey, quit it!" He chuckled and reached out tentatively to lay a paw on her side shoving her playfully.

She laughed as she rolled off the rock and onto the floor. She looked up a him and pounced him laughing. Her eyes looking more alive then ever. She was after all happy here she loved it.

Split Personality Pumbaa smiled. Though he knew that it was nature for the young cub to hunt and to stalk. He looked over at kago, his ears perking. "Its gonna be Kago's desicion some day..." He says, standing up and walking over beside Kago and timon. "Sides. What shall we do! Lets um... What should we do Timon!"
"Me?" Timon blinked, then scratched the tip of one ear.
"You. Pick pick pick!" Kago laughed, puffing his chest out. "You've always got a bright idea or two... Bestow one upon us!"
Timon rolled his eyes, letting his paw-hand fall and his foot take over the work of scratching. Kago stared at him pitifully until he answered.
"Eh... How 'bout we swing around on the vine-swings?" He grinned, lowering his foot. "Me and Pumbaa'll race you there, Kago!"
"You're on!" Kago grabbed Timon by his scruff, then tossed him onto Pumbaa's back, snickering at his shrill yelps of protest. "Ten grubs says I beat you both!"
"We'll make you pick 'em fresh once you've eaten our dust!" Timon retorted, settling himself in between Pumbaa's shoulder blades.

"Hey, hey hey! You're still wet!" Amari almost whimpered, as he wriggled to get free, not enjoying the coldness of the water one little bit. He did notice the look in her eyes however and a grin spread across his face. That was more like it!
If teasing him made her happy then he supposed he could deal with it for a little bit.

She smiled as she jumped away from him and roared again making more birds fly from the trees. She was actually happy! Her body language showed it she didn't have to say a word most could tell about how she was feeling by the way she looked.
She walked over to Amari smiling, "You know all this place needs now is a male my age and its home!" She then bounded away again playing. She stood in a ray of light that had broken between the trees. She turned to look at him still smiling it was a strange but lovely sight.

He parted his jaws and roared too, the sound rising up above the trees and joining with Bakhti's. There was nothing quite like a lion's call, it was magical and strong and able to cast terror and awe all at once. He lowered his head and glanced to the lioness with a smile gracing his features.
"Then we'll find you one." Amari replied and dashed after her, the sun playing along his fur as he gave chase, almost knocking into her as she came to a halt.

She smiled, "Where ya gonna find me one then?" She laughed running off in a random direction again. This jungle seemed to be rather big well it was gigantic to Bakhti anyway.
She turned to roar again calling to Amari and anyone else who could hear the roar. She wanted to make her presence known to everyone in the jungle.

"Well, I would offer up myself, but since Maawio would probably not agree with that I guess we'll just have to wander about and snatch up the first male we find." He grinned and loped up to run beside her, young and strong muscles bunching beneath his fur.
A gentle wind swept beneath the canopy of leaves and caught at his mane leaving him with a rather refreshed feel. His hazel eyes raised up to spy at the blue of sky between the leaves and Bakhti's roar sounded again.
He leapt to her other side, nudging at her with the side of his head before swerving to the left and dashing off.

She rolled her eyes and mumbled, "Any old lion" she laughed and chased after him. She shook her fur as she ran as her fur was still a little damp. It was drying off though in the warm conditions of the forest.
She couldn't help but feel at home and now Amari would help her find her male though she doubted they would find one. She purred as she followed him she found it rather hard to do as purring, running and breathing semed to be a hard thing but she was happy so didn't mind.

Pumbaa snorted excitedly and bucked. "Vines are the best. Lets do ittt!" He poised, ready to take off. Expecting that Timon would get on his back but not be thrown on it, he smiled at Kago and grunted. "At the starting lines we have The Wonderus Warthog of Wangilona and on his mighty back we have..." He tilted his head upwards waiting for Timon to add his line. He moved his front hoof foreward, and drug it on the ground. He grunted again.

Amari made sure to stay ahead and although his legs were shorter than Bakhti's he kept up a decent pace. He loved it here! The air was so fresh, the sounds were so vibrant and everything was so amazingly colourful.
He craned his head back to glance at Bakhti, tripping on a stray root as he did so, his rusty-coloured form tumbling head over heels down a short slope. "Ah, oof!" He hit the ground with a loud thud, his eyes falling closed as he caught his breath, finally pulling himself up onto his paws. He shook the dust from his fur and grinned sheepishly.
