Mura couldnt even manage to perform the jutsu, let alone catch Kinami. "I guess I blew the prize, eh? Oh well... Did you happen to notice what I screwed up on that time?" he asked her, looking for guidance.

Kinami hummed tunelessly, putting a finger to her mouth. "I think it was just not using enough chakra. Try it again, but really abuse your chakra levels," she suggested with a smile.

((oh yeah, that reminds me of another thing. when i fail a jutsu while training do i still subtract chakra?))
Mura looked at Kinami. "I cant abuse it too much, I'm not as skilled as you yet..." he said, an began the hand seals once more. "Besides, if I abuse my chakra, then I wouldnt be learning to use it correctly, would I?" When Mura was done the seals, he focused his a bunch of extra chakra into his legs, and tried the technique once more.
"See what I mean? No worky." he said, and dropped his arms to his sides.

Kinami smiled with encouragement. "It's always hard to learn a new jutsu. Let me put it this way- I haven't had to learn a new jutsu since I was a chunin."

Mura looked at her and grinned. "Well then, maybe you SHOULD learn a new jutsu!" He said. Turning his focus away from Kinami, Mura did the seals again and focused excess chakra into his legs.

Mura managed to do it this time, and he burrowed towards Kinami, trying to grab her leg and pull her under this time for sure.

Kinami laughed, dodging out of the way once more. She thought that, quite possibly, Mura might be getting the hang of things. "Nice job! Can you do it twice in a row, now?" she asked.

((yeah, because Mura has your stat sheet to read off of... lol xp ))
Mura came out of the ground again, and quickly went for another try. He did the seals more quickly than before, and focused a boosted amount of chakra into his legs and feet.
But he decided, when it failed, that excess chakra MADE it fail.

((lol you should see my 1000 stinging water needles of death... or w/e... training. Its so hard to write the same thing a new way over and over.))
Mura looked at Kinami, a little bit weird-like. "You told me to go overboard on the chakra... but okay, whatever." Mura formed the seals, a little more slowly this time, and focused his chakra to his legs, careful not to go overboard again, and careful not to do the opposite either.

Mura burrowed under the ground, and his hand quickly shot up underneath Kinami. He felt her leg, and quickly grabbed ahold of it, pulling her down into the ground in place of him.
"Heh, how d'ya like that?" he said, leaving her in for a moment just to savor it.

Kinami fell in up to her chin and grimaced. She hit her hand, biting back a scream. She smiled fully, though, meaning it. "Nice job there! Congrats on getting me."
