Roy looked to her and sighed. "Would you get over your paperphobia and just sign your name here. It's just one little signiture, I promise. Then you won't have to sign anymore. Sides, you really think you can go anywhere. You know they've been dealing with you long enough to have left at least one ninja somewhere in this tower to wait and see if you come back or if you come out. They can't be that stupid. You head out and you'll have to start another marathon run. Now is it really all that bad to just sign one paper?"
He looked a little evil as he moved closer to her with the paper.

Kinami shuddered. "Look, just because I have papyroponophobia does not mean I'm an idiot." She narrowed her eyes with heavy suspicion. "You're avoiding my questions and are too eager for me to sign some boring document." Pursing her lips, she concluded, "You're up to something that needs my signature."

"Why do I have to be up to something? You ARE the Tsuchikage. Your signiture would sell for a lot with your fans you know. But I don't want money, I just need your signiture on something. And your stuck in here anyway till you know the coast is clear so you might as well do somethign constructive." He was slowly backing her up against the wall now, he wnated that signiture.

Kinami moved away, turning so that she was between the windows and Roy. "Why do you need my signature? You must need it for something- otherwise I don't think you'd be this persistent with getting a measly scrawl."

He took a moment realize why she shifted and soon he moved around behind her by jumping over a pile of paper. He was out of chakra so no jutus to help him but he was still getting to her in his own little way.

Kinami shook her head, stubbornly crossing her arms. "No. No way, no how, never going to happen. Unless it's a matter of life or death, the people who need things signed know where to find me if it's a pressing matter, they know where the necessary equipment is, and I know that one or two of the tower guards know how to forge my signature. Unless it needs my seal, signature and bloody fingerprint, I'm not touching it."

Roy finally got fed up. He growled and began to scratch his head a bit annoyed, "Haruko, would you please just sign this? If you msut know, I wnated your signiture so I could learn to forge it and go through these papers and sign stuff for you. I was trying to be a help." He said gruffing...or was he...

Kinami shook her head. "Look, Roy, all these papers in here?" Her arm swept the spanse, covering ever scrap. "They don't need my signature. They need filing, which is why it's given as a mission. The people who have my signature were sealed to secrecy long ago- they won't give it away even under pain of unimaginable torture and death. There are a lot of things that can go wrong if people get a hold of my signature- which is why I only sign things that are important and try to avoid everything else."

"Yes yes, war declarations, town bank accounts drained, porno deals made, I get that. But you still missed one document. Look, it's a relativly new document, came in with the last shipment of papers. You want to just leave it?" He had to figure some angle but it was hard with such an unpredictable woman as kinami.

Kinami's face grew serious, all traces of laughter or merriment ironed out. "No, you don't seem to get it." She straightened to her full height (not very tall to begin with) and drew about her the cloak of power she wore whenever she was kage. "If there wasn't a reason for wanting my signature, you would've answered my questions before. You wouldn't be lying to me by trying to tell me I somehow missed a document." Her eyes seemed to grow just slightly harder and colder- she didn't like liers. "I may act like a bimbo, but that's just it- an act.
"I'm not as dumb as you seem to take me to be."
Reaching a hand into her pocket, she pulled out two kunai and threw them at Roy- one knocked off the ears sitting atop his head, the other sliced the collar off so that it dropped to the ground.
The Tsuchikage strode past the young boy, knowing he wouldn't be able to stop her. Pausing at the door, she said over her shoulder, "Don't bother coming back if you can't be bothered to tell me the truth. I won't have anyone in my tower that I can't trust."
Then she left.
