His eyes had a glossiness to them. A dazed look.
She forgot me..? How? Why? When did this happen? I didn't know I was that easily forgettable.. after all this time.. Why..?
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, then leaned forward. He hopped out of the corner he was perched in and walked to the Ho Dojo doors, opened them, and re-entered the main room.

"I would imagine you suspected me."
Aurum shook 'his' head, then lowered his voice considerably.
"I would offer to help you, but no one here trusts me, including you...and I could do nothing."

Nyl Phairen " I would imagine you suspected me." Aurum shook 'his' head, then lowered his voice considerably. " I would offer to help you, but no one here trusts me, including you...and I could do nothing." She shook her head. "No...actually, I didn't suspect you. Tsuu asked me about it, but I'm pretty sure you had nothing to do with it....I don't know why, but just call it a hunch." She sighed. "Thank you for your offer of help..." She blinked for a second before looking back at Aurum. "Wait...I was supposed to help you, wasn't I?"

She smiled sadly and nodded her head. "That sounds exactly like Nyl....If you'll excuse me, I'd like to go and talk with Seph...."

He scratched his head, gazing out the window. It was a beautiful night. He sighed softly then lay down on the couch, hands behind his head, looking to the ceiling. He had to do something constructive. Something that would take his mind off things until he came up with a solution.
There's a Solution to every problem. You just haven't found it yet..

"I won't....sensei....and thank you...." She hesitated for a split second before she hugged the figure in front of her. "I'd better go find Seph...." She walked back into the main room, hoping to find him there.

Aurum froze as hwen hugged him, then stared after as she went inside. As soon as she disappeared, Nyl's eyes darkened again, nearly black instead of their usual blue, and she sank down in the grass, staring blankly into the night.

hwen She nodded her head as she looked Aurum in the eye. "I won't....sensei....and thank you...." She hesitated for a split second before she hugged the figure in front of her. "I'd better go find Seph...." She walked back into the main room, hoping to find him there. His ears perked up a bit. Someone entered the main dojo. He sniffed silently. He could smell Hwen's shampoo. He knew that scent, because many nights he would fall asleep with his arms around her, his face against the back of her neck. He sighed softly, and wondered if Hwen would ever regain her memory. He sat up and looked to her, smiling softly.

Sephiroth-Kun His ears perked up a bit. Someone entered the main dojo. He sniffed silently. He could smell Hwen's shampoo. He knew that scent, because many nights he would fall asleep with his arms around her, his face against the back of her neck. He sighed softly, and wondered if Hwen would ever regain her memory. He sat up and looked to her, smiling softly. She smiled back at him. Something about his expression made her heart ache. Her head started to throb again and she briefly closed her eyes and touched her hand to her temple. "Um...can I join you? I...um...I wanted to talk...and apologize to you...."

hwen She smiled back at him. Something about his expression made her heart ache. Her head started to throb again and she briefly closed her eyes and touched her hand to her temple. "Um...can I join you? I...um...I wanted to talk...and apologize to you...." He nodded softly and sat up, silently offering her a spot on the couch. "..Apologize? For what?" He rubbed his face. "Amnesia isn't the fault of the amnesiac.."

He reached out to her, but something in his head screamed, ~FREEZE. DO NOT TOUCH HER.~He obeyed the Protector, his eyes widened. He lowered his hand and moved to the opposite end of the couch. He had been watching her. She didn't get this way around anyone else. "You said.. That you can remember everything else.. -except- me..?"

((Seph had to go, so I'm gonna control him for a minute...i got his permission ^__^ plus I have to go too. G'night!!!))
Hwen was absolutely paralyzed by the pain. She looked up at Seph with agonized eyes.
"Seph..." She thought she felt a brief flash of recognition before the pain intensified and her world went black.
As she collapsed, Seph scooped her up and carried her to their room, resting her on the tatami. He tucked her in lovingly, brushing her hair off her face.
"We'll figure this out....I promise...."
He then head to a spare room and lay down, staring at the ceiling, waiting for sleep to claim him.
