after returning home from knoha Lokey decided he had better relax for a while so that he would have the energy and stamina to last a while in the chunin exams so he heads out into the swirling snow and uses his telekineses to bend the snow into a large(really big) dome of sorts so as to protect him from the wind leaving but one entrance he cleared all the snow from the ground and sat down and leaned against a tree that was within his dome to rest for a while.

Thinking he should train more lokey collapses his dome and puts the snow back mostly all were it was and walks off back to the docks.

returning to the village he used his telekinesis to bend a dome in the snow to protect him then he cleared the snow of the ground and layed there to reast in a dome with a single entrance(lamens terms:An igloo)

Upon landing in hidden night, Mitsuko noticed that it was like a gigantic freak show. Everybody there had a weird hairstyles. Mitsuko wondered whether she landed in the wrong place or not. Mitsuko walked up to a guy dressed in a sports bra( that's right, a guy). She was about to open her mouth when the guy butted in. "Let me guess, you want training, right? And you're an ice-type user, so you probably want to train under Joe. Hey Joe!"
Mitsuko was at a loss as to what to say, but then this guy in a blue ANBU costume walked up to her. He had a large scar across his face, and kinda reminded her of Morino Ibiki.

"I'm Higashi Joe, though my fellow human beings refer to me as Joe." said the guy, who was obviously named Joe. He had an almost mechanical quality about his voice and movement. Mitsuko wondered if he actually has a soul inside him. ""I'm Mitsuko, of hidden mist, and I wonder if you can-"
"Say no more. I am the authority on ice moves in this village. Follow me and I shall teach you an useful technique."
With that, Joe stalked off, leaving Mitsuko to wonder whether it was wise to follow or not. Oh well, thought Mitsuko, whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

"This is where we shall begin the training." Said Joe, as he led Mitsuko into a large empty room. Mitsuko watched carefully and examined every detail, but it appeared that this was just an ordinary room. Suddenly, geysers of hot water gushed up from the floor and Mitsuko looked incredulous. They were gonna train with ice techiques in a place like this.
Joe didn't even look at her. "We shall make our ice moves stronger by training in unfavourable conditions. Now you must observe."
Joe put both of his hands together and a sphere of blue chakra formed in his hands. He then shot a bright beam of blue that slowly but surely frozethe gyeser into a pillar of ice.

That's quite something, thought Mitsuko, though she has seen better attacks than this. Apparently the ball is made of cold chakra the releases alot of it in a short frame of time. To pack so much cold chakra, one needs to compress it in the palm of one's own hand. The ball of chakra will then be hurled at the opponent, freezing them into a block of ice.
Joe stood there motionless, as if waiting for mitsuko to try the technique. Mitsuko sighed and concentrated. She held out her palm and gathered her own chakra. A swirling ball of violet chakra appeared and lit up the walls of the room. Joe did not seem to be surprised. Mitsuko watched the sprouting geyser.

Mitsuko built the ball even larger and released it at the geyser. The violet sphere traveled towards the geyser and went right through. Mitsuko blinked and looked questioningly at Joe.
"You must decide for yourself when to release the energy. The energy does not get released by itself. It does not have a brain." said Joe. Mitsuko slapped herself on the forget and berated herself for being such an idiot. Once again Mitsuko gathered her unique blue-violet chakra into a cold ball. She positioned it till it was facing the geyser and launched it.
When the ball approached the hot water, it expanded and engulfed the entire thing, turning it into ice.

Joe nodded and walked up to the ice, drawing a fist, he slammed the pillar, and it snapped into two. The center was obviously frozen solid. Mitsuko waited for a response from her new sensei. Higashi joe just walked up and told her to work on it for the remainder of the night. Mitsuko felt kind of ticked off, but imagined that Joe was probably like this to everybody.
Mitsuko just hoped he doesn't forget about her and lock the door. She had enough money for a hotel. After doing Ramen delivery as a part time job for 5 villages, Mitsuko had alot of experience in the trade.

"It is time for you to learn a new technique. This will probably be the last one you can learn due to your limited capacity." Mitsuko wondered what the limited capacity was, but she knew that he probably wasn't lying about it. She wasn't from his clan, and she understood the fact that clans usually guard their secrets very jealously.
"This technique is calle art of Freeze running. You will equip yourself with an aura of coldness and then run towards your enemy. Freezing the person and leaving a cold trail behind you. Only one handseal is needed for this technique."

Joe started doing laps around the room. Mitsuko noticed that he never gets wet from the geysers because they always freeze befor he actually gets to them. Mitsuko could tell that this technique was higher in ranking than the previous one. The opponent cannot tell whether you have surrounded yourself with chakra or not, and thus they well make the costly mistake of trying to attack you.
Mitsuko knew there was only one handseal involved, but that would probably mean pore chakra control on the part of the user. Joe finished his laps and headed towards mitsuko. It was time for her to start training.

Doing the handseal Mitsuko enclosed herself in a blanket of violet chakra. The technique is supposed to be invisible, but it would be easier to start out slow. Mitsuko focused on tuning chakra to just the way it was with the freeze technique. Her chakra turned bluish and she raced towards the geyser. And got burned. eek Mitsuko bit her lips and wondered why the water didn't freeze.
"You must constantly emit chakra in a fixed amount, not just store up chakra around you." said Joe. Mitsuko nodded, this made sense, cuz chakra had to be released to do anything, once again she was a bit naive.
