[I was watching a whole lot of taped tv shows from this week. ><; I have a huge test tomorrow early, so there's a good chance I'll have to get off early tonight. xP]

Kaori turned her head to look at Sai, still facing the wall. She smiled faintly. "Alright..." she murmured, barely stopping herself from apologizing again. Then her eyes shifted to Meghan and she laughed quietly. "Oh yeah," she smiled, and then turned to look out again. "But it'd be a lot easier to trust Kei than it is it trust this... thing." She tapped the side with her claw, listening to the metallic sound it made.

Kai glanced at Meghan silently, just watching for a moment. Then he frowned, leaning back in his seat. "I'll look when we're at the top," he decided, nodding to himself as if in confirmation of his words. His tail flicked absently behind him, thumping quietly against the side as his eyes settled back on the floor.

Tomoro was stunned by her words, and she couldn't think for a few moments, even after Joy had grabbed her hand and pulled her off of the ride. Such a girl going through such pain...

"Because a pain binds us together..."

Such true words, coming from her heart. By God, if anyone knew those words, Tomoro did. It seemed to dart directly into her dark heart, piercing its way in and making a nest out of the ripped tissue. One hand in Joys, the other on her heart, Tomoro sighed; it was going to be a long day. Smiling a bit, Tomoro patted Giddy on the head, and then looked up at the sky, like she was waiting for some sign of the Gods to come down and give her a clue about what to do next. It was then that a spokesman came out over the many microphone poles, used to spread announcements.

"It has now been announced that pirates are located East of the rides section, for no apparent reason; probably taking a rest. However, they have also taken a hostage by the name of Ai. If anyone wishes to help her, we can't do anything; we're carnival people! You'll have to save her yourself. Thank you and enjoy your time here."

Tomoro's eyes widened; Ai! The one she had met at her sleepover, the one that comforted her once she was feeling down! If anything, this was the way to help her; to save her from those dreaded pirates! Besides, she already played the part, as hard as it was to admit. Her eyepatch completed the look; she even had the scar in her eye, she could make up something about that. Gripping Joy's hand, Tomoro took a swift turn to the East, determined to rescue Ai. "Joy, I'm going to battle pirates and save our friend! You got that!? Come if you want, but it's dangerous!" A certain gleam glew through her eyes, and she smirked; this would be pretty interesting.

Meghan looked around, her cheeks puffed out as she held her breath for a few moments, just for fun. She slowly breathed out, butting her hands on her hips. "It seems so... quiet and... and..." she said, trying to look for another word, but not able to find one. She looked at Kaori for a moment, smiling. "I feel the same, Kaori-chan," she said happily, hoping to get her out of her embarrassment.

Sai turned around, looking at what she was talking about. "The rollar coaster?" he asked, wondering if that was what she ment. "Yeah, we can," he said, nodding his head, watching the coasters progression around. "Wow.. i'd have to say that'd be the best we've been on, Meg," he said, not bothering to turn around.
Meghan laughed, hearing Kai's suggestion. "No, just quiet and energy drained, I guess. But nice suggestion," she laughed, sitting down, facing Sai. "Yeah, that's what I was thinking before... but we haven't been on too many to begin with," she giggled.

Meghan looked at Kai, seeing him stop himself. Bitting her lip, she looked at him for a few moments, wondering why. She wanted to say something, but she didn't want him to get mad or anything, so she looked the opposite way of the rollar coaster, for no particular reason.
Sai chuckled. "Gald to see you're having a good time," he smiled. "Some people think it's scary, but it depends on the person, really," he said, watching as it came back out of a tunnel. In the distance, you saw another rollar coaster twirling quickly towards the ground, the faint screams of the people echoing as Sai laughed soflty.

The girls nodded.

"We'll be on before you know it!" Andi said as they all laughed and moved impatiently with the line.

The girls loved things that were fast and exciting, high thrill stuff. This would probably explain why four of them had met the ring at one point in their life, and Liz...well Liz was just Liz. She could be hard and mean, but lately she'd been showing a side that even Lily had never seen before.

Holly, finally, noticed that she hadn't dropped Darius' hand yet and she let it go fast, as she didn't know that Lily and he had split. She blushed a little but said nothing. The roller coaster was going through a few loops now, and Emily watching with excitment in her eyes.

"Alright, there's 6 of us so we need to pair up in two's." Liz said, knowing no one would think of this, and it was nearly their turn. Holly and Andi paired up immidiatly, then Lily paired with Liz, making sure she didn't get paired with Darius for fear of an awkward moment.

"That leaves us Darius." Emily said getting in line behind him so they could walk into the coaster in their groups.

The girls walked calmly in, but their faces showed their excitment. Holly and Andi jumped into the first car and strapped themselves in, as their hands shook a little from excitment and nervousness.

Emily sat down next to Darius and simply smiled and laughed a little at the girls ahead of them.

Liz was sitting with Lily, trying to talk to Lily about something, but Lily was off in her own world. She was thinking about Darius and her last fight. He'd beaten her twice, but those had just been the battles, she'd won the war. She'd delivered the blow that had left him the way he was. It hadn't even been in the ring. She'd stopped loving him. That was how she'd won the war, and with her competitive side, you'd think she'd be happy. She had redeemed herself from two embaressing losses. But she wasn't happy. She was angry at herself for hurting him as she had. Angry that she hadn't told Emily and Holly and Andi yet. But mostly angry at herself for thinking it would make her happy to see him crushed. What kind of person was she?
