Edge being the last to come down noticed the others and approached them curious about their next move to protect the two ladies with them. "I see your all up early. Where's sensei?" Edge found it a bit odd that the other two were up but without their leader present.

Edge looked at the Inn manager with a confused look. "It doesn't say he's gone to kill himself in combat." He quickly turned to the others wishing to get their opinions noted. "Ok so it's just us three getting them to the castle then? Do you think theres a high risk it's going to be more trouble along that route?"

Kinoru sighed "Definatly, that last attack is sure to not be the last" kinoru said as he signaled to Kao. Apon Kinoru's signal Kao ran upstairs to Kohana's room and started to scratch at the door and bark to tell them to come downstairs.

Kaida nodded slightly while reading the note. "I will go get the others.. we leave immediately... the sooner we get moving the sooner we get them home..." Kaida turned and walked up to where the two were. "Kohana, Maiko lets go... we need to get moving.."

*Kohana had already woken Maiko up when Kao started barking...and they had their belongings ready...they went downstairs to meet the others...*
Kohana: I'm truly sorry that it seems we must skip breakfast if you wish to proceed this early...

Kaida glanced over to the two women then to the others. "Is there anything we can eat quietly on the way? So Maiko won't complain the whole way?"

Edge considered the situation carefully. With Shunketsu Sensei missing, it wasn't a good sign that this would be an uneventful trip. With the most experienced ninja gone it meant they would be more prone to possible ambushes and predicaments they would be unsure about. Considering the options he knew that getting the two ladies to the castle was important but also ensuring they could protect them at the same time without risk of them getting hurt would be a problem. Looking over to Kaida and Kinoru he wanted to at least discuss with them in private about what sort of move they should make to ensure they could protect them. He also wanted to keep the conversation from the two ladies from a number of reasons. One he didn't want to them to grow too concerned with them going on their own but also something didn't feel right to him about Maiko and he wanted to be careful until he knew the full story later on.
"Kaida, Kinoru can I have a word in private over there for a moment?" Edge pointed to a table far from ear reach from the others he needed to talk to them about what they were thinking too.

Knioru knodded and walked over to the table and sat down, Kao walking close behind. Kao sat down besided Kinoru on the ground

Kaida walked away from the women and to her companions. "I don't like this... Shunketsu Sensei gone like this.. " She looked at them with out expression on her face but it would be obvious to her team mates that she felt alittle turmoil with the situation.

Edge took a seat too and nodded to the Kaida while keeping appearance happy and formal from a distance for the two ladies. He made sure to keep an eye on them. "I know what you mean Kaida and I think for now we should assume that we are on our own until we get further confirmation from him. We have a job to do and I'm sure it's going to be a difficult one. One of the main reasons I wanted to talk with you guys in private is to discuss what we could do to prepare for an ambush ahead or even reduce the risk of being taken out? From what we saw last night they probably have a number advantage and know the region better than we do so they probably know where to strike when were most vunerable. I have an idea but to be honest I just want to discuss what you feel on this?"

"Well one things obviouse, we need to cover them from all sides, so Kaida should take the lead and walk in the front, Edge you can take the left, and Kao can walk on the right, and I'll watch our backs" Kinoru said looking at the others seriously "We should stay on full alert at all times, and at night it wou;d bebest if one of us stays awake to stand watch. We can watch in shifts toi make sure none of us are tired the next day"Kinoru said still souding seriouse "It's not going to help us to worry about Sensei, weither he's alive or not isn't our concern right now, but getting the princess and Maiko home safly is" Kinoru said looking back at the 2 ladies for a second then back to his compainions

Edge shook his head on the general idea of formation. "I understand what you mean Kinoru but I don't think walking in formation is going to help. We should assume for now that the enemy has the advantage in terms of knowledge of the area, outnumber us and also outskill us in most cases. What I was hoping to suggest was to use an element of trickery to protect them if you will." He knew Kinoru was talking sense however the battle from yesterday proved that they would have to pull all the stops just to protect themselves let alone the two they were protecting. They needed to reach the destination as quick as humanly possible and he an idea.

Maiko: Kohana-sama...shouldn't we be able to listen to them too? I mean, we should know what they're trying to do in order to protect us, right?
Kohana: actually, no...If they are indeed planning something to protect us, Maiko, then it is best that we don't know about it...
Maiko: wha????
Kohana: you see, if they have a plan up their sleeves, it should be easy for them to conceal that plan until they have to use it...if we know it, then it's more risk of us accidentally exposing their plans...the more people that know, the more risk of it failing...
Maiko: well...if you put it that way...
Kohana: For Shunketsu-san to leave...he must have much faith in his students' ability to protect us...and if he believes in them, then I do as well...
Maiko: *a big smile stretches across her face* you wanna know what they're talking about just as much as me, huh?
Kohana: *eyes start twitching...Maiko had seen through her* sh...shut up...I don't want to know! As a matter of fact, I could care less about what they have to say...hmph!

Kinoru knodded slightly "True, but what you say gives me an idea, so that we may exicute may plan, and also work with what you want. It's releys partially on Kaida's clones." Kinoru said looking over to Kaida "She can make 2 clones and have them transform into me and Kao. Then while you Kaida and the 2 clones travel in the formation I suggested, then me and Kao will travel from a fair distance away, me on to the right and Kao to the left. From there we can act as scouts to try and find any enemy ninja, but with the clones in place, the other ninja will not suspect a thing.....well they might, but the chances are still in our favor" Kinoru said looking at the others
