...Ressurrection was sooooooo much better than that pile of crap.

The only good film Paul W.S. has ever made was Event Horizon.
Everyone I have spoken to about it who knows anything about Film thinks the same as I do. Besides, Ressurrection was a Jeunet film, and he rocks!

Everyone has different ways of lookin at things. Different things are taken into account when we "review" things, there will always be personal differences and that's what makes us human. People will review in different ways. It's not like it really matters cause no one if forcing their opinion on anybody else 3nodding

Nope, I went into the cinema with an open mind. I don't usually consider the director at all until after seeing the film and making my mind up for myself. I guess Ressurrection could be seen as bad if you are unfamiliar with Jeunet's style or dislike french cinema in general. I thought it was an ok film, not as good as the rest of the Alien series but still it wasn't so bad.

I heard about it being cut to s**t but I don't see how releasing an uncut version of that film could make it any better. The script was dire and they felt the need to explain everything when the visuals did it for you. It was better when there was less dialogue (i.e. the actual Predator vs. Alien parts.) If that film had all the humans removed from it I would be happy.

It had no story to begin with. The plot was straight outta a Von Daniken book. I'm just saying I would rather have paid £5 to see a 90 minute battle between the aliens and predators (making them actually as badass as they are both supposed to be) than watch that.

SPOILERS AHEAD DO NOT READ!

1. The predators were kids, that was there first hunt, that was the whole premise of them being there, it was a rite of passage for them to become men.

2. How did it have No story? it had an excellent interpretation on history and who the ancient civilizations saw as gods. People have alwasy wondered how the axtecs of the Egyptions built the pyramids and this film played on that. Predators came to earth and would set up temples as bredding chambers for aliens, then they would sacrifice humans to birth the aliens and for their young to train.

3. The Humans found the temple for a reason, it activated itself when the time had past and for the hunt to begin. The film needed the humans in it for there to be aliens in the first place.

4. There was what 8 Aliens and 3 predators?.... yeah who's gonna win that battle?. you forget that they did not have plasma casters or any real long range weaponry, Aliens are the most devastating close combat creature in the galaxy. Obviously the predators have their work cut out for them. The object is to get to the shoulder cannons and then it balances things out a little more.

5. It's not mean't to be a war film and I know posters and stuff hyped it up way too much, The director wanted the film to be alot more deep than just two alien races fighting each other.

6. there probably will be an AVP 2, and they can play on the fact that their is now a Predalien about.

7. Making the woman part of the Predator clan was taken from the Graphic novel and I thought was a cool touch.

8. Anderson did his research on this film and did an excellent job with it.

that is all.

I though Resurrection was craply done but a good idea. I just didn't like the thing that the queen gave birth too, I think it looked s**t and could have been done a hell of a lot better.

I've yet to see AvP, I'll let you know what I think on Thursday once I've seen it. 3nodding
