He looked at her when she spoke and gently nodded, "I can imagine that you would just want to relax and get over today and whats happened. And you are far from stupid, that i can be sure of, 300 years is a long time to miss and i understand how scary it can be. I promise that before long, this all will feel like home, or at least like a place that will feel like a true home." He said kindly as the friend he was but then did have an idea, "What do you think of the name Sara?" He asked curiously to her a bit out of theblue but wanted to know what she thought about the name.

He gently nodded to her as he would go back to their meal and eat some of his food when it was brought out. When she spoke about the name, he nodded but shrugged, "Just asking, i had an idea that involves you but i was just thinking things over." He said as he had an idea for a gift to her however, asking her about a girls name didnt give much options to think of what he meant as the cybernetic armed man across the table ate his food.

He made sure to pay for the checks since he could pay with something that wont be spotted by anyone watching for new payments to show where they were. He had proper set up measures while hers were still new and not fully sealed up. When she spoke however, he watched as Mia crawled up onto her shoulder but he looked at her curiously, "Sure, is their someplace specific that you want to be taken for this?" He asked not even sure what one thing she wanted to do before the end of the day since she didnt say where she wanted to go.

He looked at her confused but just went along with it as they finished up and left for the hotel. He went and changed into some shorts and a t-shirt as well in the bathroom, which she wouldnt have noticed yet but the room they had only had 1 queen sized bedroom, he wasnt able to book a hotel with two bedrooms or beds, but he was in a rush so he decided to get it. His bag was out in the living room which he figured he would sleep on the couch. When they walked out to the shore, he sat by her, his metal foot dipped into the water with his human one. He nodded hearing what she said and he looked out before noticing her hold her hand out to hold his. He heard her talk about sitting next to a friend but he was hesitant to take her hand. He had reached out but his metal fingers twitched, hesitant to hold her hand because he didnt feel that he offered comfort. His metal hand was cold and hard, not warm and comforting so he placed it by hers on the rock, "Its beautiful out here..." he said softly, looking off but felt that she wouldnt care for a guy like him so he almost felt ashamed being called a friend, since he did have some feelings til he realized she looked past him to some actor who just used her.

Cody softly smiled back but kept looking at the ground a bit, as he went and would look up at the sunset, their was a moon, sort of, it was actually less then the normal moon that earth has, its more like a large asteroid pushed into position to help stable the tides on the planet. Cody walked with her but smiled, "Hey, your first venus sunset, cant say youve ever done that before." He said reminding her they were on a different planet but when she spoke, he sighed and shook his head, "You dont need to let go of the past... if anything, use what you know to forge your future. Sure you saw Wallace as an old friend but it was to find comfort in what you know, which you cant be blamed for. Wallace was an a** and the only reason i didnt like him is because he hates people who are cybernetic. If he hadnt been a d**k about that, i wouldnt have had a problem with him and would have missed it too. Our lives are nothing but mistakes and ive made some myself, we fall on our a** but then get right back up. Keep making mistakes to learn from, and if it helps, ill be right behind you to catch you when you do... better then taping a pillow to your a**." He joked a bit but sighed, "If i had a time machine, id change a lot of things, but i would have helped send you back if i could." He said knowing she probably missed home more then anything.

Cody was worried when he noticed her tear up a bit but when she spoke, he gently smiled as he walked with her, "Lets head back to the hotel." He said as he walked with her and once back to the hotel, when they both got their showers in and were changed, he smiled to her, "Night Kaylee, sleep tight and get some well deserved rest, i dont have plans so unless you do, sleep in." He stated as a friendly recommendation that they didnt have anywhere to be early in the day. He walked over to the couch and had grabbed the spare pillow and blanet from the closet and laid down to get ready for the night, adjusting to get comfy, debating about taking his right arm off to fit better on the couch.

Cody looked at Mia as she curled up on her charger to 'sleep' but as the next morning came around, he woke up smelling the food and sat up, rubbing his eyes softly as he them stretched, rotating his wrists even though technically it was all unneeded since they were robotic, the actions were normal for him. When he got up and finally looked at the kitchen, he was shocked, "Holy hell, it smells good in here but did we get robbed last night?" He asked curiously to her as he walked into the hotel room's kitchen.
