Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte raised her eyebrow and even tilted her head over to the right as Jazz motioned towards introducing someone not there though she quickly balanced herself out and blinked as Jazz responded to Lunias complement. Though she just offered a beaming smile at first before admitting who she is trying to swap. ”You and Aaron. I mean you look decent he's a waiter also you and Lunia so that's fair right?” She wasn't going to add that she felt Jazz was more useful in combat. Though she quickly flickered her eye’s over to Ora.

The staring from Ora was getting a little.. Concerning. Though she shrugged it off a little. However as Jazz finally introduced this ‘Felix’ person. Who she couldn't see. She didn't even bat an eyelid and extended her hands towards the air. For all she knew it was a invisible person! Though she recalled her hand as Jazz asked Lena if she had seen this Felix person…

She turned her head to Lunia to offer a small smile. Mostly at Felix joining them. Though blinked as she coughed and sputtered out her name. Even more so as her hand was grabbed and given a look. And though she let Lunia speak she added straight after. ”I knew what i said. How is it fair she can get away with it but when i do it i get arrested? Does that mean I'm allowed to wear a dress that shows my underwear or lack of now?” She even quizzically tilted her head over to the right. Totaly missing the pleading look of help towards Jazz.

It was straight after ora wandering away that Charlotte's face dropped a little. She remembered some of her older.. Activities. Least before speaking very softly and quietly. ”She was at one of the facility's i raided. I think. I don't know there where a lot of them. On that note im hungry. Oh… zy zy headbutted your felix. Meet the replacements…” She motioned towards zylah and then to Aaron. It was then she reached over to grab a roll ora was eating. And she popped it into her mouth. And even spoke with her mouth full a little. “Zy zy is ... Aaron is… Special… In the ... ” She paused herself. She might have learned at least something from lunias session. Though she let herself drift a little as she thought about how people would react. So she started to theorise.

If she tried to grab jazz and kiss him. What would they do? She pictured lunia freaking out. And while that would be funny she didn't want another fight. And bomb to go off. Though if she kissed lunia would jazz be freaking? What if she grabbed this lena person who seemed to be paying no attention to anything and just spouting random questions. Would jazz and lunia panic? Would zylah hate her? Why was zylah even popping up in these thoughts? And because of that last question her face contorted a little in … anger? Her eyes flickered over to the other group that had formed. And her right hand tensed up. She then forced herself to look back over at Lunia. She couldn't understand why she was angry. Even her tail was slowly trying to escape its confines.

Cecil continued to listen to more puns and immediately was regretting the fact he entered a small pun fight with Adam as he kept going further and further beyond the point. Cecil shook his head solemnly as he chuckled a bit, the one time Adam managed to make Cecil laugh. The time seemed to fly by with the puns as he got up with Azura and soon said, "I do like to make some traps, if it comes to making people face their fears." He joked as it seemed the idea of making a trap door for pineapples appeased his 'ebil' side for once as Azura continued with the idea of the dance. Ridley and Adam definitely were for one another since they kept up with the puns for days attack, even some teasing was thrown into the mix at Cecil and Azura.

He walked away with Azura to get their foods as Cecil responded. "Maybe he was force-fed the pineapples... or maybe he took a few pineapples to the head from them being thrown." He smiled as they soon returned to the table with the food and they continued to talk, they ate, had laughs... but then the time came for the dance part. Cecil slowly got to his feet and looked to Azura as he held out a hand. "I believe it's time for us to enjoy the end of the night as any Ball would have... a small dance to help burn off what we ate."

Aaron was taken back a bit when the goat boy on the ground would speak not only his name, but Zylah's name as well. Crocking a brow at the boy would be utterly curious to why his name would be known. Thinking back on it, has he ever met this faunus before? There was a couple moments to where his mind would wonder, hoping to come across him in his memories. It wasn't at the beach, perhaps a class, no they havent been in the same class as far as he knew. Maybe it was due to the fame of YAAZ and there succession with last mission? That might be the reason. Though his thoughts quickly changed to concern when the goat faunus had trouble taking his hand. Perhaps maybe the head collision truly did a number on them. " Boy you hit him hard Zylah." He would comment seeing how out of it the faunus boy was acting. As he decided to take a seat instead, Aaron took back his hand. His comrade's comment brought his attention back to the white haired girl. " A cat? Do they even allow them on campus?" He questioned a bit more towards all three of them. In truth he wasn't sure if the administration did, as it never really applied to him. His family had a lot of siblings, but no pets. A luxury he never had. Though it didn't bother him too much. One thing he wasn't aware of was her lack of depth perception. Clearly....wait...now that he was thinking back on it, there were a few times where she was clumsy. While she didn't really show it during combat, on her own time she could definitely get herself into some trouble. Though it might have explained how she ran head first into this guy. In fact it might have explained a lot of things now. Yet this wasn't a time to really talk about it now was it? Instead his eyes caught wind of a small furry animal appear out from almost underneath them and jump on the faunus's shoulder. Most definitely it was the cat that was spoken of. Without hesitation, Zylah pushed forward taking Aaron with her to pet the small cat. While it was sudden, he didn't mind her childish attitude towards it. If she liked animals then why get in the way of her happiness? Instead he took his arm back giving Zylah room to move on her own, but stayed close by incase he was needed. Though his date did bring up a question that had plagued his mind just a bit ago. "Yeah...I'm curious too. Hopefully you're not a stalker or anything." Aaron gave a little laugh after his comment. Although he passed it off as a joke, it was serious in his remark. The thought of having a stalker was creepy...kinda sent a chill down his spine.

It was then that another person approached them. Aaron turned his attention to see another horned faunus heading their way. This one was draped in a black and bronze dress, having a blackish aura out of her. She immediately went towards the down boy in order to help him up. Though it did help in discovering the boys name. Felix....now the name did ring a bell. Before they could really reply, Charlotte stepped in of all people. Why would she appear... A few things kinda clicked in his head within a couple seconds. "Oh...Wait a minute." He started off before dropping a fist into his other palm. "You folks are from team JOLD aren't you? The one that Jazz is coming from?" He asked trying to steer the conversation away from the fact that Charlotte just spoke about the head butting. Something was warning him to not get this horned faunus girl angry. Especially if it was towards his date who caused the matter.

Garret found himself impressed with how quickly Dove seemed to be grasping the dance. She may have started off slow, but as he sped up she seemed to catch up on her own, speeding up at a faster rate than he had been expecting. He had been taught the dull straight forward way in his youth, and having no real interest in anything other than combat then, had put little effort into it. Relating it to combat though seems to have been the catalyst he and Yui needed, as she seemed to grasp it quickly and had a determination in her eyes and voice to master this dance as quickly as she could. He was already thinking of what could be done next to progress her further in this dance. And, thankfully, there were a variety of tasks they could do to accomplish their goals. There were the various spins, the shifts in directions of movements, as well as many more options. But...Garret wanted to make this more than just the average. If she could truly grasp all this quickly enough, then he should challenge her at some point. So, once she was rivaling even him in speed, he would speak up again. "Good, you've grasped the basics of this combat. Now onto something to help increase the flexibility of the maneuvers, and take advantage of your flight. I shall spin you, but you need to go with the motion of it and keep your wings tucked. Imagine it as if the opponent tried pushing you off balance, but your spin allowed you to quickly regain position and remain in control." Garret would begin, intermixing it with their movements after a few more sets of three steps to give her time to process and think of it. Slowing down if it were needed. He would continue doing it till she grasped as much, not yet explaining it fully. Once satisfied, he would continue. "Now, for the effectiveness of this maneuver. When you come to a stop after your spin, spread your wings as wide as you can. Like a dove about to take flight as you rush to close back in on your prey. To strike fear into its eyes as you show your full might." Garret would say in an instructing tone. In order to win, they would need to use all they had at their disposal, and Yui's wings were one such thing. He would continue to do this with her, even going as far to add for her to actually rise in air a little when opening her wings once he felt she was confident in it.

Once all was said and done, Garret felt they were mostly ready for the dance. There was just one last matter to attend to now that they had a good grasp of it. He had noticed her serious expression and focus throughout the dance. Noticed how she viewed the dance close to a manner of life and death, as he often did for competition. But there was one thing central to any dance to be a success. Knowing the moves was just the first step. The second was to feel the passion of it and let the music guide you rather than a strict doctrine of memory. Garret would pause her again, having slowed himself only to see her continue just as fast and increasing. 'Does she give such dedication for our coming duel, I wonder...' He thought to himself. He was pretty sure the answer was yes, which only meant he would need to train harder himself. Having someone as competitive as him, even if it was not always apparent with her, would be a good measure to test himself against. "Pause for now. I think we almost have it entirely now. However, there is one final lesson to tie this all together, once that is vital to actually completing our task successfully. You know the moves of the dance, you've learned how to incorporate your wings...The final measure though is to feel the music." Garret would respond, sounding dead serious as he spoke, though even for him saying feel the music felt weird. Looking slightly distasteful himself at the phrase, he would continue. "By that I refer to dancing not just strictly to follow the three step beat, but matching it to the music around. You must follow the rhythm inherent in it, and let your body respond naturally. In essence, you need to relax and enjoy yourself now that you know the moves." Garret would begin to speak, finding it more and more difficult to explain...till he smiled as he said the last part of it. "If you keep dancing with that intense gaze and seriousness, you may make the crowd cower in fear with looks alone. And while that is typical for both of us in battle, we need them to be silenced by the dance itself as well as its two combatants." Garret would say, doing one of his rare jokes of the matter as he would smirk and smile a little, his arrogance once again seeping in after being absent for so long. He would then resume the position of the dance with her, but did not start immediately. "Focus on me and the music alone. Let the world around us fade. Let your mind forget all else around us, all troubles, and all worry. Let the music sink in, let our presence with one another be comfortable. Listen for the beat...that three step pulse. Let your body match to it and to my own steps. Let yourself relax...and enjoy this dance. You shall take the lead once you find it, so I rely on your for this." Garret would continue to speak and instruct, but his tone was far less authoritative than before. It was relaxed, calm, devoid of arrogance. Though he did not say a word to her on it, his own eyes closed as he himself searched for the beat. He found the beat quickly, years of practice allowing him to hone in on it...but he waited for Dove. It was her time to lead, to let the music flow and not just follow like some machine. It was the only way she could identify it on her own, and truly realize what he had been saying.

It was just a brief glimpse, but the falcon could see the lingering emotions on Maru's face when he finally returned his sapphire eyes to him. Sparse as the moment might have been, Asger could tell he might have hurt the boy's feelings, or at the least made him feel something unsavory. There was a small twinge of guilt and in response he sent a reassuring smile towards the pink haired boy, hoping to calm any qualms he might have. It seemed to work as he was met with a much brighter smile, an eager one. Asger wasn't exactly sure how to answer the question immediately, so instead he simply nodded. There was a strange tightness in his throat, making it harder ti speak than even usual. He wasn't sure if it was related to the overcrowded ballroom, Maru himself, or just the idea of dancing in general. This social setting, parties, celebration, it wasn't exactly his forte. He usually chose to skip out on them, when that was an option. Attendance tonight had been mandatory and he figured it would be a good chance to get to know his team, but he might over underestimated the obstacles he'd be facing. In truths, it wasn't Maru's gender that concerned him. Anyone that didn't know the boy would have no idea Asger was dancing with another man anyway, but even if they did, what didnit matter? Intellectual and serious as he might be, he judged those based on the contents of their minds and souls, not whom they chise ti have romantic relations with. However, on that note, he'd never thought about it much himself. He always had his nose stuffed in some book or another, and never the fictional type. There was always an equation on the board, and not one of romance. Between all the studying and researching hed never once thought to picture himself in a relationship ship, let alone the face behind the partner. Lost in the swirling tornado of his own thought process, he shook his head slightly to clear it, realizing he had been quiet much too long and he still owed Maru an answer. "Oh um... I do not see way that would be an issue." His voice was slightly more subdued than usual, but sure in his statement.

Once again he was taken off guard by Maru's hands clasped around his own. Surely it should have been expected, but this was all new to Asger. He blinked once in surprise but followed suit, working to push himself to his feet as the pinkette tugged him towards the dancefloor, only to stop in his tracks almost immediately. Asger very nearly ran into the boy, stumbling backwards and nearly falling back into his chair to avoid a collision with his dance partner. It took him a minute to regain his balance and he looked back up, slightly abashed at his fumble. It was only then that he realized the reason for Maru's sudden halt. They had been brought face to face with is little sister and Narx. His fingers were still intertwined with Maru's but it was like his brain had completely frozen and his body along with it. It was strange for Asger, his brain had never once failed him and suddenly it had gone completely blank. He couldn't speak, he couldn't walk, he couldn't move. So he stood there, hand locked in Maru's, with a deer-caught-in-the-headlights type of expression on his face. It took him several moments before he was able to unlock his joints, giving the boys hand a slight squeeze he would wriggle his hand d free, running it through his crimson locks. It seemed to be a nervous tick of his which was likely why he sported a slightly disheveled look, even on nights such as tonight. He could feel the heat creeping into his face and sent a silent prayer that it was contributed the the many layers in an overcrowded room. He would cough into his elbow once more, forcing out whatever blockage was keeping him from speaking. Granted it was all metaphorical, simply a mental block. "Danae... Narx... I was hoping to run into the two of you. You both look particularly dashing..." He would start, hopi g to clear the awkward air as he slowly returned his deep blue orbs to them. "Have you been enjoying your evening?"

Feng's approach came out of no where as she marched quite diligently towards the man who had been headed for the pair with clenched fists. Normally she night have been embarrassed that their captain had been tuning into to such a tender conversation, but the tension was too high for her to think much on it at the moment. Likely it would be an after thought that came at a much later time. Dani honestly wasn't exactly sure what she had been expecting from the little hummingbird. A savage tackle, a punch straight to the gut, kicking of the shins and flicking of the forward, things that were oh-so common of the tiny terror. The wide-eyed look of shock was was a clue that the scene that played out was the farthest thing from her mind. Feng didn't nit attack the guy physically or with violence, but rather took a stab at his pride. Feng's intentions were made clear long before pants were actually yanked around his ankles and Dani trained her gaze fiercely on his face to prevent any accidental sighting of the unmentionables. The jellyfish almost felt bad for the guy. She probably shouldn't, after all he had been on his way to attack Jentel, but as much as she despised that thought... she was sure he had his reasons. As always it would go to show that there was truly not a mean bone in the girl's body. It went far beyond choosing to be kind a d thoughtful. In most cases. Such as this, it seemed she was almost incapable of feelings such as hate. She couldn't manage to insult the people who deserved it or those that tried to hurt her. If not for Feng's rinely arrival, Daenerys would have done her best to protect Jentel, but she likely would have apologized afterwards. This all showed in her expression as she looked after the guy with an apologetic expression. It was followed by a small, but thankful smile towards Feng.

Her attention was drawn by Jentel's voice and she slowly turned to face him once again. The heat that had risen in her cheeks had all but cooled at this point, but with the topic t hand it would surely ignite once more in due time. Nodding in agreement towards his statement, she would glance back towards their captain for the breifest of moments. She was still touched that Feng had gone through such an effort to protect her. Gruff and brash maybe, but there was something else there behind such thick skin. The declaration that Dani was truly her friend still rung loudly in her brain, but it was a thought process to be saved fir another time. "She cares... she just has an odd way if showing it sometimes." A hand placed so gently upon her cheek would cause a strange, tingling sensation to spread over her skin. Her hear was sent in to overdrive as that little dove flapped so desperately against her rib cage. Stomach twisting and turning she found herself grateful that she had yet to partake if any if the refreshments. Her cheeks would grow warm beneath his hand at his words but the most tender of smiles would tug at her lips. She couldn't quite find the words to say, tongue-tied as always, but she would bring a gloved hand up, slowly and hesitantly until it rested gently against his own. A soft sound came from her lips, almost a giggle but breathless in her state of nerves. However, this was a very different type of nerves from her usual anxiety and the expression on her face showed that she was entirely delighted with the situation, cheesiness included.

"As am I... I-I mean... to find out that you feel the same.." His hand would fall from her cheek and hers would follow, coming to dangle at her side. The motion would quickly be followed by Jentel leaning in closer to her. Cheeks flaring up once more, the color would reach a vibrancy that rivaled that of her gem-like eyes as his arms curled around her and his chest came to press against hers. Heart beating much too quickly, thumping in unison with his own as a true sign. Of the feelings swarming inside both of them. It took her a moment to respond, not so because the hug wasnunwlecome but because she seemed to have forgotten how ti work her muscles. However, as she worked to unlock her joints, delicate arms would reach up to wind around him and she would press her self to her tip toes to lessen the height differeence so that he didn't have to lean down so much. It was a blissfully warm feeling, being enclosed in his arms, one that caused her heart to flutter abnormally in her chest before picking up its rapid pace. Time moved in strange ways in such tender moments, making even just the slightest of seconds seem to last much longer. Stuck in their own little bubble, if for just a moment, where concepts such as time were irrelevant. Though just as any must, it came to the end, as Jentwl released her and she sunk back to the heels of her feet. The color in her cheeks somehow managed to deepen and violet eyes peeked up to meet gold, peering through her lashes as she so often did.

Next came the bow, followed by such a formal apology, shame tainting his features. It was such a stark co trast to the last several minutes it caused her ti blink in slight confusion, as if she hadn't the slightest clue what he could possibly be apologizing for. His gaze would trail off and she didn't have to look to guess where to. It also shed some light on his words, clarity spreading through her. She knew what he was about to see, at least to some extent. However, as some people might be upset or offended by such a declaration, Daenerys was no such thing. She didn't even look the slightest bit off set. The little jellyfish hadn't sny clue what pain haunted Ajanette so, but if it was anything similar to her own agony, as Jentell had hinted, she knew it could often be unbearable. Especially in moments she was alone and her mind was left to wander. Dani truly believed that the girl deserved some peace and if Jentel could offer that to her with a dance, in their friendship, by keeping a promise, she wouldnt get in the way if it. In her eyes, it just showed that he was a man of his word. "I think that's very sweet of you Jentel. No apologies are needed, really." A small smile would touch her lips, a sign of reassurance. She wouldn't hold any harsh feelings against Jentel or Ajanette or even her friend who'd come to pummel Jentel. It just wasn't in the little Jellyfish's nature.

He would not have had to plead for forgiveness or even his next request. For Dani, forgiveness wasn't needed as she wasn't even upset and the special request that followed sent her heart racing once more. However, even if it hadn't it would have been impossible to refuse such an expression as he lifted his head to meet hers. It was not the request that surprised her so but the confession hidden within it, such a pleasing look matched with words so boldly sincere. Breath hitching in her throat, her heart fluttered in her chest as a strange sensation swarmed her stomach. She could feel her cheeks warm as the blush slowly crept in once more. "Jen...Jentel..." Voice soft as always but overflowing with the emotions she struggled to put into words. It was a challenge for such a timid gurk, one who was so seldom bold. But she wasn't going to stop there. Forcing in a long, trembling breath, violet hueslocked on his own, she did her best to convey those tender feelings through her eyes, even in her silence. It took her a moment to work up to the words, but she was detirmined enough not to give up. A nervous stutter sinking back into the words, the tremble steadied as the statement went on. "O-f course I w-will. It seems only fitting that a last dance be saved for two people sharing such intimate feelings."

XXXIt burned, it ached. Every muscle, every fiber of her being fighting to support herself in somewhat as her body trembled. Despite the surprise, he had managed to catch her before she could fall, alleviating the burden gravity using her weight against her. Most of it, anyway. She was held in place, a warmth supporting her in a way that was all so rare to her. Until only a couple weeks ago, the closest touch she received over the passing years were the cold metallic fingers of Prism. Every action of every day, assisted by frigid digits that she had grown so used to. It was Kenna first who broke the cycle, having the very feline cry and grovel in her lap. Her hair so soft, skin so warm, all while her tears burned. The very same could be said for Feralis, though more effort was required on her part. Where Kenna was resting in her lap, Feralis kneeled before her. It took some creative thinking and a leap of faith to make this connection, to show her forgiveness. It was all so worth it when she could see the shimmer of hope ignite in their eyes once again, obscured by tears. It wasn't her mocking his weakness, but pushing him forward to be stronger. Of course, even the weakest hug he could muster would outmatch her at her strongest. That was just how far she had fallen. Eyelids would fall listlessly as she rested against him, frail arms gripping him weakly while he embraced her with everything he had. The woman could feel a pang of guilt in her heart, a guilt so similar when she found out the fate of her parents. 'I've never been so happy to be wrong... I can't believe I doubted them so much... Its shameful..' In her bitter loneliness, she thought that everyone had abandoned her. She let her emotions get the best of her, her bitterness, her spite, and her self-loathing. That she was too weak to bother with, and therefore could only be left behind. Such things could even be said about Kenna, but that was something that Maria understood, it was something she had to do... Her parents and Feralis, though, they had no choice in the matter. They were silenced by unknown forces, and she lept to the conclusion that she just wasn't worth their time anymore. As guilt seeped into her core, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief loosen the stress that so tightly gripped her heart. He would surely feel her throat rumble, her chest expanding as she drew in air in order to speak. Though as much as she tried, no words would come out. 'Getting worse... That's okay.. He knows I forgive him, he knows I understand... That's all that matters.' It all clicked into place, making more and more sense as he continued to explain his reasoning, his excuse. His transformation had always been a burden he bore, a factor of life where he'd lose himself to his instincts and go completely feral. Of their time together, of the people they knew, she had been the only one both capable and willing to track him down and bring him back to his senses. She would face the wolf head on, not fearing its bite. Just as for Kenna, Maria was willing to move heaven and earth for this man. Even now, so many years later, that had not changed.

As Feralis began to rise once more, Maria's weight would only slump against him. If not already obvious, it became quite clear that she didn't have the strength to support herself in the slightest. Much like dead weight, her body would rest against his frame with all her effort focused on keeping her arms around him. Iridescent hues would travel up to meet those of umber, a hint of curiosity glimmering in otherwise dull hues. Inches away from her chair, it seemed that the male was hesitant in setting her down once again. Umber hues would dart back and forth between their circle while her curiosity worsened before she finally wiggled her fingers into motions against his back. Blue indicators on Prism's face would flash purple, a robotic tone chiming in response. "What is wrong, Feralis?" A voice that was clearly inhuman, but a digital type audio that sounded from technology that her former teammates hated so much. Prism's fingers would release from the wheelchair, purple lights fading to blue as its receptors watched the wolf closely. It was already in a state of uneasy from allowing Maria her reckless stunt that could've hindered her recovery process, but now this man that it had never met personally was easing into a protective mode. It, however, would begrudgingly remain on standby. At last, it was coming. An interaction between cat and dog that was inevitable, but certainly wasn't what Maria was expecting. A rainbow of colors would shimmer as her eyes widened, surprised that Feralis was requesting help? What kind of backward world was this? Such a surprise would begin to slip as a weak smile curled against her lips, hearing nicknames and insults alike plastering the wolf who dared ask for help. It tugged on her heart, tickled her in a way that Allistar and Kenna's antics just couldn't. The cat and the dog, they were just too good to beat. The two of them began to work together in one of their scarce truces, something that only amassed when Maria was involved whether it was to help her or to get back at her for her own antics. Ever so carefully, her shoes would click against the floor as her weight was supported in its entirety by the two who held her so close. Iridescent hues began to soften, emotions fighting to overwhelm her with the urge to produce tears of joy. Those orbs would gaze back and forth between the two. While she was at a loss for words, it was more than clear with the emotions that urged her lips to curl with a smile, a sense of a somber joy shimmering as she fought to keep another tear from falling. Not only was this the first time she stood with her former team in years, but it was the first time she even stood on her own two feet in that same time. This was a reminder that no matter how many years passed, how their paths diverged, that while she would try to support her team and push them forward, they were always willing to do the same for her. A cat and a dog left on the street strays. Maria took the two in with open arms without a second thought, urging them to grow and develop while fighting tooth and nail to make sure they didn't kill each other. Now, so many years later they stood beside her, urging her to stand tall and lending her their strength when she just couldn't muster it. ... This was her dysfunctional family, through and through. Maria's thoughts would linger on Kenna's question, thinking long and hard about what their first act as a team reformed would do with the entire night ahead of them. Fingers began to twitch, gestures forming before a voice cut in, a new found member that defined dysfunctional all on his own.

Iridescent shimmers would redirect towards Allistar who stood before them, sounding much like his old self than whatever stranger she had encountered prior who complimented the two of them. Listening to words like venom, a silent sigh would escape her lips as her fingers weakly curled into both Feralis and Kenna's shoulders. This boy seemed to have a knack for interrupting the special little reunions of her life, she couldn't help but wonder if it was some sort of sixth sense he had? A gaze of annoyance would narrow in suspicion as they focused on the baggie that had an assortment of items that would be so chaotic to an event like this. Without missing a beat, Prism's indicators would flash red at the sight, stepping away from the wheelchair and closer behind the trio before it. "Allistar, where on earth did you acquire such contraband? Just WHAT are you thinking?" The robot was fuming, simply bewildered at the fact that Allistar would have the audacity to bring such dangerous items to a public event. Then again, it was Allistar... The boy seemed quite far from normal, the polar opposite in fact with the track record he held. Yet, just as quickly, the bag of contraband was cast away so light-heartedly as he joined in on the group hug. Surely the only thing that kept Prism from attempting to separate the troubled child was the fact that he wasn't directly in contact with Maria, but had Feralis and Kenna as a buffer. Both Maria and Prism listened as the boy continued on. The girl, while annoyed, found an odd sense of amusement in the nicknames the boy continued to spout. Not that it made matters any better. Surely his words were meant to stab at those who were so easily aggravated, which both of them were, Kenna more so. One of her many unpleasantries, but a quirk that Maria adored picking fun at herself all the same.

As quickly as the vampire emerged from the shadows and outright murdered the mood, he began to back away. Iridescent hues never left him, knowing very well that the bat's antics were far from over for the night. As cryptic as always, his words continued to creep with a sense of unease that kept fueling Maria's sense of suspicion towards him. In their weeks together, it had become more than clear that the boy was bridging some sort of insanity, but had the intellect to make use around it. No matter how Maria tried, she just couldn't wrap her head around the bat as she managed to do with her former teammates. Before Maria could begin to try and question anything, the bat had already begun to move. Perhaps Kenna or Feralis would be quicker with their words, but she did not have such luxury anymore. The color of her eyes would shift as they followed him, unable to fight the itch of curiosity of what he was planning. Those same orbs would then pass between the two predators that held her up, fingers uncurling as she formed gestures once more. "I was intending to say food, then dip on the formalities. However, it seems we may have a vampire we need to keep our eyes on. What are you two thinking?" Of course, it was Prism who was talking in the place of Maria. Something that Kenna was surely getting used to, but Feralis would certainly have a hard time swallowing. A static pause sounded from the robot, red indicators still bright and vivid as hefty steps moved and it grabbed ahold of the wheelchair. "... I believe keeping an eye on Allistar is the correct course of action. Recent events lead me to believe that he could potentially cause a scene. ... I will go on ahead and park Maria's chair at this table. ... As much as I dislike Maria being in unfit environments, I know you will not make this easy. ... Please ensure her safety and enjoyment, and meet up with me at your earliest convenience." It was going against every protocol of the robot's design, but it was beginning to understand how important all of this was to Maria. Recent conversations have led the robot to worry more for her condition, but it all seemed unavoidable. Her words were quite clear. 'I returned to Beacon because I had nothing left to lose and my days are numbers. I would rather run my body ragged than waste away in that bed another day. ... And now that Kenna is back, I have a goal to aspire towards once again. I'll give everything I have to make sure she can take down that witch. For her, her family... And my parents. If you won't support me, then I'll possess something that will.' ... With that record on loop within its processor, it would agree to give Maria this night in the hands of those she cared for. ... After all, Prism wasn't capable of bringing that smile to her face. It was simply there to care for her, that was all.

... Surely none of them intended to object. After all, they all hated technology, right? Prism wasn't wanted here anyway, so it would at least do its damn best to ensure that team MVSK's name was not soiled by a faunus that had nothing better to do. "I'll be making my leave, I do hope you follow suit soon. Maria cannot talk without me, but I can still detect her gestures. If I am needed, do not hesitate to wave me down. " That was meant quite literally with Maria's sign language. It was the only method of communication that she could continuously do, and so long as Prism was within range it would still detect the signals. Ready to turn, the robot paused with one last note. " ... As well, Kendall. Your scroll has arrived. At your convenience, you may find a woman with white hair and a man with spears at the dance floor to attain it." That was all. Unless there were any last minute objections, the robot would pull away from the trio with the wheelchair in hand. Taking a number of hefty steps, it would park the chair next to a table before following Allistar's trail. "Allistar. If you are wanting a dance partner, may I be one to volunteer? Surely you cannot let your night be ruined by such a lack of companionship." ... Well, that was one way of telling the boy to wait up for the robot. Prism had no idea how the situation was going to go, and did hope that Maria and the rest of the former team MAKO would follow it. However, if the robot was on its own for the night, then so be it.

Danaë loved seeing Narx's smile. It brightened her day. Then again, he was a very smiley person when she wasn't startling him into fainting. He would then ask if Asger would enjoy this kind of thing. "Asger has always been more into books than social events...In fact, he isn't the best at talking to others." She was then starting to get worried for her brother.

Narx would then call attention to the head master. Danaë's face would fall a bit. She wasn't sure if she should talk to the head master about Camilla. She was intimidated though. She knew that she wasn't the best example of an avian faunus. Everyone else really had solid colored feathers, and here she was, with her multicolored feathers that weren't all in one area, the back. Instead her face, arms, and neck were all covered. "Or he's just talking to a student?" Then again, her parents were prolific when it came to having children. "I mean, if you haven't noticed, there are a lot of Huntresses in training...A lot more than men."

They would then find her brother and a pink haired woman. That was weird, Asger didn't tell her that he had a date. Then the pink haired woman talked. It was that person from the other day, the one that tried to comfort her and only caused her to cry even more. "Komaru was it?" She would give her brother a raised eyebrow. She was fine with him dating who he wanted to date, men or women, but she wanted to know first. There were proper channels that she needed to do before anyone got close to her brother. In her mind, she was sharpening a dagger, ready to horribly mutilate the man in front of her, all while having a smile on her face. There were threats, and eventually promises that be fulfilled if that person ever broke her brother's heart.

Then she saw how nervous her brother was. Maybe he was going with the flow. He released Komaru's hand and ran it through his hair. A nervous habit he had. He would then ask them about the night. Danaë would smile at him. "We were having a good time on the balcony until he got cold." She would chuckle a bit. "I don't want to ruin your evening, but I think Mom and Dad would love pictures of us at the ball, with our dates." The dates part had a bit of poison in her voice. She didn't like not knowing that Asger had gone with someone. She would be perfectly fine if she had been told.

XXXCan't get people wasted that quickly? Oh that's just the talk of someone not determined enough to get someone shitfaced! Though, she couldn't deny that after extensive prolonged contact, she was starting to feel so wonderfully warm and fuzzy. It wasn't enough though! Drink the stress away, that was the only way to live! The fact that she still had the tigress on her mind was more than enough reason for her that the rabbit wasn't living up to the expectations that Kail had given her. Thus, she would be very disappointed. A low growl continued to rumble in her throat, her teeth clenching tighter and tighter. Some of her previously damaged teeth would begin to loosen from the strain, roots popping as she turned her head and spat two pointed white razors from her mouth. "Well if you don't want snake-face-mcgee to take you, then you'd better try harder! You cost me a bag of jerky, you know that?! I'm gonna collect, one way or another." The woman couldn't help but scowl at the thought that she wasted her precious jerky. That stuff didn't come easy, you know?! Sometimes she made it herself, fantastic man that knew how to make it just right, for the right cost. Either way, it took time to gather all the supplies with a good clean hunt as well as scavenging. Now, she was starting to feel like she wasted one of her most valued food choices on some gimmick.

Once again, the woman would jerk her arm aggressively to shake the rabbit faunus from her hand. Funny that he feared Kail so much, when he himself was constricting her arm like a godforsaken boa that just didn't know how to let go. Rachel gave it another three good swings, yet it seemed that the fear of Kail was so powerful that it was driving him straight into the jaws of the shark. Though if anything was good about this, it was that Ren was continuing to channel his semblance into Rachel, slowly widdling away at her alcohol tolerance. His presence continued to get under her skin with every passing moment, finding his very voice matched with his seemingly naive nature growing more unbearable. With that last swing though, she had had enough. With clenched teeth, she'd let out a snarl as she stomped her foot in agitation before storming away and dragging the rabbit behind her. "F**k it. You win, bun-bun. But if I ain't hammered by the end of the night, I'm swallowing you hole." Pupils would dilate within cyan hues at the thought of such a tasty rabbit going down her gullet. ... Especially after that decorative plant left its mark in her throat, she found herself craving some actual food. Not that she'd head to the tables just yet. Instead, Rachel had stormed to one of the walls of the ball, resting her back against it as she tugged the rabbit faunus to try and swing him into the wall. Who was Tsu-tsu? What the hell did it matter? Just some kid tigress that managed to get under her skin, who cared? "Who's tsu-tsu? Bun-bun, I'm pretty sure you saw her. Tiger gal, white and black stripes, sparkly kimono. Unless you forgot while screamin' like a damn 5-year-old girl." Rachel was salty, and would certainly fire shots at the boys own self-esteem. After all, Rachel was relentless with her thoughts when she actually liked the person, so... Why would she bother holding back for some dumb rabbit that already ruined her night? ... Man, something just wasn't rubbing her right about it all. Thinking about Tsuki again, it made her skin itch, it made her angry. "Damned cat stormed off in a fuss cause I didn't care I was hurtin' her feelings. Thought the lil brat was different... Everythin' is fine and dandy until Rachel can't keep focus~ Bah!" Swinging her free hand back, her fist would crash with the wall only to leave a series of cracks. Clenching her fist tigher, she sighed. "Not allowed to break anything here.. Not allowed to get drunk... No one entertaining. This entire shindig blows. I wonder if I can blow this joint ... Maybe if I take you. After all, snake eyes over there did say I should keep you away from the students." She would mumble in a curious tone, wondering if it could work in such a way. Perhaps Ren would have his uses after all, as a "get the hell out of here" free card. The possibilities ... With that though, her grip would tighten around his hand. With that as a possibility, now she couldn't afford to disgard him. "But... Food... Geh. I can't win. Screw it, what do you wanna do, bun-bun?" Her mind ran in circles constantly, abandoning thoughts rapidly and recentering her attention without hesitance. That, in it of itself, was Rachel's being and likely was what Tsuki had grown to hate about her.

Azura Knight

There was a faint pink to her cheeks as Azura placed her hand in Cecil's a slowly rose. Fear and excitement battled each other as a whole flock of butterflies fluttered around inside her stomach. But it was with Cecil's self-assuredness and calm that Azura would be able to face her fears and dance with Cecil. It wasn't so different than DDR, right? "I guess we will see you guys later." She told Ridley and Adam, wondering if they would dance as well or if they would continue their ribbing and flirting at the table. Once they were on their way to where the other couples were dancing Azura looked to Cecil and asked more nervously than she would have liked, "Have you ever done ballroom dancing before?"

Ren tilted his head as he raised an eyebrow as he kept pouring his semblance into her before he jumped as she turned and spat two razers from her mouth out as he soon heard what she said. "B-Beef Jerky? I-I'll buy you some after this." He told her as she began to walk and drag him away, soon giving him a few swings as he held on tightly, his eyes becoming swirls for a moment as he shook his head a bit when she told him that he won. He was now ordered to get her drunk by the end of the night otherwise suffer becoming food. He used his one hand to undo the buttons of his shirt and hugged his bare chest to her arm. More skin-contact meant more hammerage in his mind.

"I-I see, but I don't scream like a 5-year old!" He shouted in protest with his face red as he was pouting, not trying to be girly at all and failing at not being adorable. "But you're maintaining focus right now." He told her as she seemed focused on being angry for the moment, knowing what she couldn't do after she punched a wall to leave cracks. He frowned before she went on about taking him away. She soon asked him on what he wanted to do here. "I-I mean, I wouldn't mind going to a place where I am allowed to get people drunk.... but food is always good so we should get something to eat that isn't rabbit related please."

XXXIt appeared that the girl was just as lost in confusion as he was, perhaps more so. Memories were a dangerous thing for him, and now that he was on the third count he was finally starting to get used to the concept; not that it made it any easier. Umber hues would blink in a mix of surprise and confusion, suddenly feeling the contact of another against his left cheek. There was no warning for him, the sign of movement obscured by the darkness in his left eye. It was that same touch that refreshed the memories instantly, causing her own confusion to become infectious for him. A confusion that actually let him piece together the events that he couldn't see, though those same umber hues would soften as she guided the white locks from obscuring her face. There he saw a pearly white eye in contrast to the deep cerulean. ".. So that's it." Earth colored orbs would get lost within the ocean of her own as he made sense of it all. Mismatched hues reminded him of a vivid memory of her own, that of deep cerulean waves cascading down the shoreline as it faded to a pure white seafoam before pulling back to sea. A memory that led to her braving the water, only to realise she had no idea to swim. A matter of pride with no sign of weakness, she charged recklessly into the waves only to be met with those same cascading waves that pulled her deep beneath the surface. ... An event most terrifying, but her heart remained calm, never shying away from death itself, but sought beauty in whatever her final moments may be. ... That was until an iridescent surfboard came to her aid, and everything else was history.

While her memories were certainly something to awe at, to pick apart when he was alone, he had to focus on what was happening in the now. Memories were a dangerous place, so easy to get lost in. If one wasn't careful, they may not find their way out. ... That moment would not be today, however, as he was more interested in making some new memories with this white-haired girl that quite literally toppled into his life. Umber hues would be hidden for just a moment as he closed his eyes and offered her a playful smirk, one that matched her own. "You bet it is~ I didn't think you'd take eye candy so literally, now how else am I suppose to get a good look at my assailant? What am I suppose to tell the police now, it was the one with the cute mole? " His words were a playful tease, though sprinkled with truth. A chuckle escaped his lips as umber orbs opened once again to take in the mismatched hues. At least, sort of. Even with half his vision gone black, he'd still see her face so clearly with her signature playful smirk. "Don't worry though, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve as well." Though his smirk was playful, there was a hint of mischievousness. If the two stayed in the company through the night, there was no saying what sort of antics they would find themselves in with the chance of having to rely on Aaron to bail them out.

Felix couldn't help but be amused at the girl's antics with her partner now in the scene. Where Aaron was worried and trying to control the situation, telling her to do something that was very well against her nature, she wouldn't miss a beat with her comebacks. Felix knew far more about her than anyone else now and could see right through the facade of such a playful act of innocence. It was surely something the rest of her team would've picked up by now, but Felix could now play along far better than any others. The two went back and forth for but a moment, Zylah having a mischievous aura about her the entire way through. In the end, it all came back to one thing. The cat. A fluffy feline that had begun weaving together their threads of fate, causing an encounter that was meant to happen sooner or later. Just as she acted, she vanished from the world to let them deal with the outcome, and it was as simple as wanting to pet the damn cat. "I dunno, Aaron, but I haven't had an issue in two weeks at least!" It wouldn't surprise the boy in the slightest if pets weren't allowed, though he was pretty damn sure he saw a pooch walking dressed up far fancier than he ever looked. In terms of his curiosity, he wasn't at all surprised by her answer. "Live and learn, I guess?" It seemed that's all one could do with living with such a disability, something he had to try on his own with his mess of memories.

Speaking of the said cat, it appeared Zylah just couldn't contain herself in the presence of such a fluff ball. To think such a small girl could topple him, and drag her date along for another ride with so little effort. To his delight, Aaron had an understanding of her own fascination with the feline and let her free; meaning it was free game from here on out. As the girl dropped to her knees ever so close beside him, Molly already moved to his other shoulder in order to get closer to her. As delicate fingers began scratching behind her ears, Molly would rub her soft furry face against her palm as she purred in delight. Though Molly's delight was Felix's pain, feeling her claws begin to dig and knead into his shoulder as she milked every ounce of affection she could. Umber hues would wince, but wouldn't stop him from admiring the childlike wonder expressed on her cheeks. A soft smirk crossed his lips, adoring the innocent sight as he brought his fingers up to join her in scratching the feline gently. "Is that so? Well... I might be willin' to let you babysit her sometime~ ... Though I'll be honest, I'm pretty sure I'm the one she's babysittin'." What was a softer expression would shift to that of a playful one, a story untold that most certainly would be shared later ... Once he could remember it himself, that is. Of course, the question of the hour finally arose! How the hell did he know their names?! A mischievous smirk crossed his lips, umber hues lighting up in excitement. "Oh, that's an easy one. Magic~ How else would I figure it out? That's only one of many tricks~" Honestly, how else could he explain such a phenomenon? Touching people and gaining their memories? It was certainly some kind of magic, whether a blessing or a curse. As much trouble as it caused him, it was the moments like these when it all played out so wonderfully. Hopefully, such an open-ended explanation would be satisfactory, though part of him knew that it might just very well delight the girl in front of him. "And now for my next trick..." Following his words, Felix would click his tongue was Molly's eyes opened. Slit pupils would look back at her master with a curious gaze, to which Felix only nudged his head and lifted his eyebrow. There seemed to be some unspoken communication that the feline could understand, as Felix would then raise his right hand upwards and gently boop Zylah's nose without warning with gloved fingers. With his arm raised, Molly would then travel up his arm swiftly but with excellent balance, her paws anchoring against his hand. Those same slit pupils would gaze deep into Zylah's eyes, a gaze that may seem ever so familiar to the girl in a long forgotten past, something trying to connect and remind. ... Then, that was immediately tossed to the wind as she too booped her cold pink nose against hers before meowing. "Beast taming."

Oh right, the two of them had asked him a question before and he completely tossed it to the wind. A playful smirk remained on his face as he finally followed their asked question, a belated introduction. "Oh right right, of course! My name is ..... That." In the midst of his introduction, he heard an oh so familiar voice shout out in worry for him. So, since she took away his glory, he'd simply follow up with a confirmation of yes, that was indeed his name. Looking up at the platinum blonde hair of his sister, he could instantly see the worry in her expression, the fear radiating with her black aura to which he'd instantly bring up a hand to dismiss it. "Ora. Sis. I'm fine, really. ~ Molly found me a new friend, and in turn I found half of team YAAZ~" What really may surprise her about all of that was the smile on his face, a genuine smile that wasn't bogged down by all the depressing memories that constantly seemed to weigh him down. Rather interesting, given the newest set of memories he acquired. The boy actually looked like he was enjoying himself, and in good health minus his 'phantom pains'. As she went to grab him, he'd lean a bit to try and get just out of reach, though also to keep her right hand in sight. In turn, though, he'd raise his left hand until it was in view of his right eye for her to grab and wrap his fingers around her. "No worries here sis, really. Just took a bit of a tumble. I'm all covered, nothin's getting past this suit you guys picked out. ~" Felix wasn't quite as concerned about her fear as he should've been, thinking it was solely for him. A bit of a careless thought, but it was reasonable that he tried to dismiss it with his own reassurance. She often did worry for him, and he wanted to make sure that she knew he was fine ... Even if there had been an accident or two. For a brief moment, as Ora turned away seeming distracted by something else in passing, he would turn his head towards Aaron and Zylah. In a quick series of motions, he'd point to his forehead, then wave his hand horizontally in front of his neck as a quick indication to NOT mention the head-on collision between the two. It was all so quick, but a smirk would cross his lips as he winked to confirm at them to play along. The horned boy would then nod up at Aaron who seemed to be piecing it all together, slipping his hand from Ora's to snap a finger gun. If she didn't let go, then his fingers would slip out of the glove. Not worry, he had spares! "Ding ding ding, waiter boy is the winner! ... Actually, Char might be wrong. You kinda remind me of a bellhop. ... Anyways! As my sis said, the name's Felix. This little scamp here is Molly, and my overprotective sister is Ora. We're on a team with Jazzhands, and I'm pret~ty sure we were supposed to meet you guys. Small world, eh?" Another sprinkle of Zylah's memories were strewed about, briefly mentioning Charlotte telling Aaron he looked like a waiter. Though, a world indeed. By what chance could Felix have run into the other half of the team they were supposed to be meeting, all while he broke off to go find something else to do? It was as if some higher beings were plotting the whole thing out, even if circumstances kept interfering with whatever they had in store.

Now that the excitement had died down, Felix figured it was about time to get up on his feet before Ora yanked him away. Why would she, though? Half the people they were supposed to be meeting tonight were right in front of him! As he began to shift, Molly would actually take a small leap and plant her paws firm on Zylah's own shoulders. Even though half of Felix's world had gone black, that didn't stop him from trying to accomplish this simple task on his own. Hands to the ground, he'd force himself up only to bite his lip as he began wincing in pain. 'God DAMN Zy, how the hell are you walkin' around with that leg? This freakin' hurts!" A thought rang in his head as the boy would take a deep breath. Clenching his eyes shut tight and gritting his teeth, the boy would force himself up in a sudden lung as he tried with every fiber of his being to suppress the pain his leg brought him. All his weight went to the opposite, to keep from straining himself too much. Fortunately, he had certainly endured worse, and could easily work past it... That didn't mean it didn't hurt, though! His sight was something left to be desired right now, but that wouldn't stop him from holding his gloved hand down towards Zylah while he tucked his left into his pocket. "Come on, Zy. Up and at 'em. You're already a walking hazard, we don't need anyone trippin' over us." A teasing smirk would be tossed her way, winking at his own terribly witty remark about her she bulldozed her way through the entire ball. While it could be seen as an insult, he was just playing a tease and meant nothing bad by it. He'd wait for a moment for her to take his hand if she chose to take it, cat on her shoulder and all, then pull her up to her feet effortlessly. Actually, perhaps a bit too suddenly. The boy's strength was something else, being able to manhandle his entire team at once. All while she was barely pushing 100, so when he tugged her up to her feet, he'd accidentally pull her to tumble into his chest. Unless of course, she managed to get her footing with that gimp leg of hers. That's when it all clicked so amusingly in his mind, both her weight and actual size as she tumbled against his chest. "My god, Zy. You're fun size!" Teasing her seemed to come second nature, but it was all in good fun! The boy was simply thrilled now that the two were standing, just how much their height difference was. So far the shortest person he had met was his own sister unless Lena was doing her thing. Zylah was tiny compared to them all!

The horned boy's fingers would remain laced with the white-haired girl's, though his head would turn back to Ora for a moment with a smirk. Or at least, where he last remembered her. His left side was still completely dark, after all. "Oh. Right. Reversal time. Sis, the bellhop is Aaron, and this fun little trainwreck is Zy. They're from Team YAAZ. ... That's right, right? Pretty sure." The boy had already said it once before, but now he realised that he was showboating a bit too much information he happened to pick up from Zylah's memories. To them for the show, it was just another scene of his 'magic' that he claimed to have at his disposal. Which again, wasn't far off from the truth. Shifting his gaze back down towards Zylah, umber hues would focus on her mix-matched hues before noting Molly staring at him. "I think Molly knew before any of us, she sent them on a while goose chase right to me~" As if content with her work, the feline would meow before rubbing her furry head against Zylah's own. A smirk remained on Felix's lips as he pulled his left hand from his pocket to scratch the cats head while attentively avoiding skin contact with Zylah's face. ... However, the moment he touched the feline, his eyes would narrow. ".. Molly.. You better not-" While he never got the clear memories of an animal, he always got faint images and lingering traces of motive. As realization crept in, Molly got the smuggest cat look on her face before springing off Zylah's shoulder and dashing into the crowd towards the dance floor. Without missing a beat, Felix's grip would tighten as he pulled Zylah along as he took a step forward. Regret would instantly settle in as pain shot through his leg, forcing him to grit his teeth in anguish as the imaginary pain screamed at him. "Ahhh hell! Ahh...Ha... Okay. Okay! We got ourselves a feisty feline to catch, and she seems to like you! What do you say?" It would be a split second decision, as the boy was still fully intending to follow the feline with or without his newfound playful companion. Preferably with, of course. She had already chased her all the way here, so, Felix was certain she'd be up for another round. The horned faunus would grit his teeth as he pressed on, despite the phantom pains screaming against it and he was clearly hobbling. "Don't hold up! We'll catch up with ya when we get her!" We or he, whichever it was. If Zylah had objections, she may certainly be able to slip from his grasp or stop him in place. It wouldn't be hard with that leg. If not, however, he would painfully drag the two of them between a shifting crowd that moved to try and close their gap. At the last glimpse, one could see him using his sleeve covered arm to shield his head from any accidental contact. The last thing he needed was someone else's memories messing with his mind so fresh after a new one.

He smiled as he whirled his index finger at Ridley. "And your love for torturing me goes past that friendship as well." he teased. Adam hung his head in defeat as his team admitted to the possibility of the pineapple trap. With them all working together he'd have a hard time not falling for it. Evil cohorts. Azura and Ridley high fived which, in his head, sealed his doom. "I'm, for real, gonna pass out from this abuse." he thought. "That pleased smirk of yours always spells trouble for whoever it's aimed at." he said crossing his arms. He straightened his tie as he cleared his throat for his next words. "Hear me, Team DARK! Your plan to make me face pineapple is a failed venture. Never shall I succumb to the tyranny that is pineapple. I pledge this on this day!" he shouted as he placed one leg on the chair he was sitting in standing triumphant. "And you!" he pointed to Ridley, "my revenge will be quick and true if you attempt this trap!" he said smiling. He flopped down into his chair and took a tired breath. "Man, talking proper for too long takes alot outta me." he laughed. "I guess that does sorta make you a good captain, huh?" he thought. "I'm not afraid of pineapple that thing is nasty!" he said scrunching his face.

Adam breathed in and out slowly so he didn't burts out in laughter at her pun. "As the punking I now dub you the punqueen! We shall rule these lands with our puns and all who oppose will autumn-atically fall!" he resolved. "Ok. I'm done with the puns now." he snickered. The conversation flowed back into Cecil on stage with Adam. He kept the straightest face he could trying not to laugh at Ridley's eyebrow wiggle. More puns were pouring out of Ridley's mouth and it took everything Adam had not to jumpback in. If he started again he probably wouldn't be able to stop himself. He held his arms up and shrugged. What can i say? I loves me some caramel!" he said as his mouth slightly watered. The quieter teammates left to the dance floor to get down to business. Adam feigned tears. "They grow up so fast. Little birds leaving the nest and whatnot. *sniff* *sniff* I'm so old!" he joked.

Adam wanted to sit there for a minute and watch his teammates dance, but this wasn't just a night for him to do what HE wanted. He had someone in his care and he had to make sure she had a good time as well. He stood and positioned himself in front of Ridley. He held an open hand out to her and cleared her throat. "Ahem! Ridley, would you do me the pleasure of a dance?" he asked trying to be as polite as possible. He made it a point to speak properly because of how seriously their environment was to be taken. He looked away feeling a bit of pressure considering he's done nothing like this before.

He's spent the last few weeks secretly watching ballroom tutorials to try to...impress his date. He didn't understand it himself, but he felt it was a necessity. Quickly trying to get this heavy feeling off of himself he spoke again, "It would make my night if I could dance with someone as beautiful as you." He kicked himself mentally for feeling so nervous. He rarely ever got nervous, but here and now... it was just different. Because of her.

As Charlotte explained her initial comment at Jazz’ outfit he couldn’t help but be aware of how strange Ora had been acting. Ora keeps looking at Charlotte. Has she got a crush? Something here isn’t right… Looking back at Charlotte, Jazz gave her a short laugh. As nice as that would be I have a commitment and responsibility to my new team. But no reason we can’t hang out during our free time. As Ora went off to deal with Felix, Jazz added to Lena’s comment. She is, it’s quite sweet really. Anyway, we don’t all have to go, especially when we’re having such a nice conversation. Jazz had no idea how to repair Charlotte’s blunder, fortunately, it seemed Lena had missed her reply. Lena’s dress was a gift from her family. Besides, she refused to go out shopping with me He gave Lena a look that said, ‘I would’ve picked something 5 times better’, missing Charlotte’s quiet words. Seeing as we were in a rush I think you’ve pulled it off wonderfully Lena.

Moving away from that conversation Jazz followed Charlotte’s arm as she pointed towards their teammates, it came as no surprise that they were the ones on the floor with Felix. Why doesn’t that surprise me. At least he’s met Lunia’s team, this is probably the best I could’ve hoped for. Charlotte proceeded to stuff herself with the remains of Ora’s roll before attempting to explain… Something. Interesting. Well, as you’ve pointed out that man on the floor is Felix. The cat with him is Molly, she’s the most adorable member of team JOLD. So now we’re all introduced! It wasn’t the introduction he had planned but he knew not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Jazz nodded at Lena’s question. So far It’s been everything I expected and more. Eyes gazed lovingly towards Lunia as their pinkies wrapped together, Jazz shifted his hand to places his fingers between Lunia’s. Pulling Lunia a little closer Jazz whispered in her ear, so the others wouldn’t hear. Ora and Lena broke up a couple weeks ago. Ora didn’t seem as impacted by it as Lena. I don’t know why she’s acting odd though, perhaps she’s got a crush on Charlotte? He finished by planting a kiss on Lunia’s cheek. Pulling away to re-join the conversation Jazz smiled towards Lena. You’re too kind. I’m not sure I’ve been doing a great job at leading... Jazz was about to let his feeling of inadequacy take over but with Lunia’s had in his he put on a happy smile and looked over to the dance floor. Anyway, now’s not a time to think about things like that. This ball is wonderful but I’ve yet to actually dance.

A gentle smile from Jentel from beneath the zipper of his mask. "I am undeserving of you kindness." With those words Jentel departed. From the distance between them she would see him offer Anjanette his hand. A confused expression on her face where there once was a nothingness. Those who had formerly crowded around her having long dispersed. Rather than take his hand they seemed to converse momentarily. She would then shake her head as though declining returning to her 'whimsical' grape endeavors. In turn Jentel would shake his head as well and what seemed to be rather assertive for someone like him grabbed the girls hand. Not aggressively mind you but enough to say he was adamant. The girls empty eyes blinked, she laughed, and the two made their way to the dance floor.

For the brief moment Jentel and Anjanette would blend into the crowd of other dancers. Leaving Daenerys to contemplate and get her bearings. After this was their promised dance and the mood with the air of the night it could very well quite possibly lead to an escalation of things to more than just simple embraces. In the time the two of them were cavorting it would be the ideal time for some girl talk between Feng and Daenerys regarding the situation. Although it was likely she'd probably call Daenerys dumb for letting Jentel go with Anjanette in the first place and if their positions were switched no way in hell would Jentel be getting out of it unscathed.

When that time came to pass it seemed the dance between the two of them turned into a game or something similar as when coming out of the crowd Jentel was giving his date a piggy-back ride ride, embarrassingly so. Although running through Jentel's head and assuming him and Daenerys had synced wave lengths this was his way of making it up to Anjanette for having to tolerate his actions this night. Returning to the Gazebo he'd place the girl down as they again conversed once more a most shifted from before. What looked like laughter followed by Jentel seemingly stiffening up confused she'd grab his shoulders turn him around and give him a push forward. Jentel looked back momentarily to see her smiling and waving and quite literally almost brow beating him to hurry up back to Daenerys.

Jentel would thusly begin his advance towards Daenerys, he'd have to pass Feng along the way. For both their sakes, here's was hoping they were both emotionally prepared and that any intervention or punishment from Feng would be unnecessary.
