Kura noticed he was staring and looked away quickly, blushing. "Uh, um, so, tell me a bit about your time here in Domachi, and about yourself." He was quickly trying to change the subject. ((I got nothin' right now, this post subject to change in the morn'.))

The Yami-chan Kitty Mimi smiled at him "I haven't seen the town yet...I'd love to. If I'd not be to much of a burden to you...that is." she spoke starting off excited but her shyness and over concearn quickly winning out. --------- Toki's watchful eyes moved carefully to those who had entered the room, the look somewhere between pure hatred and murderous, he hid his emotions though from the now somewhat empathic Yammi who glanced his way. Yami turned back to face those who'd entered the room and nodded her head gentally "I understand." One of them looked over at Toki and spoke rather calmly; "Excuse me, could you please refrain from anger at this point, because whatever you hate us for its not our fault. We are simply here to take the body for preperations, and have no medical titles. If anything were guilty of being to early, but there will be an eclipse soon, and we don't wish the safety of the procession taxed from the moons gravity on the way to the ceremony area." They all secured a hold on Tolly's body and began to carry it out the door.

"I haven't been her very long." she spoke as her voice faltered, she wasn't sure she wanted Kura to know her past, or how much of it she could recall accurately. "And I am not someone who should be spoken of." she paused thinking over her words "But you...I'd like to know more about you."
----------
Yami looked over at Toki who spat angrilly, once the group was out of ear shot, "Why? Why are you standing by calmly and not taking charge? Are you not his wife? Can you not stand on your own?" Yami stared at him a few moments longer, her gaze dropping to the floor "YOo've lived your life like this! People yelling at you to get sel-confidence, and to quit living in the sorrow of your past." he appraoched her and lifted her chin, something more malichious in his eyes "You're still a lonely kid on the inside, but use tat to your advantage, you have my powers at your disposel now, and people you need to protect. So figure things out and start making some decisions...cause while he's gone there's only so much that dragon friend of yours is gonna be able to do for you."
Yami stared now in partial fear, pratial respect, and something else. She nodded her head and Toki took residence in the corner once more.

"Hmm...Alright, but when I'm done, at least tell me your hometown, I'd like to go there one day." Kura cleared his throught, then said, "Well, my dad's a born spell caster, and my mom learned how. They met in an academy, and hit it off. A few years later, I'm born. However, I have a special...ability. I constantly have an aura of anti-elemental magic around me. It takes a lot of effort to turn off, and even then I have to focus. This caused a bunch of trouble in a city of mages, and I was kinda hated. My dad kicked me out when I was really little, and my mom went with me. We moved to a normal city, and I learned swordplay there. Then, when I was old enough, I went out to look for the heroes who beat Laos. There, my life story, reader's digest version." He smiled, then asked Mimi, "So, you wanna tell me anything else about yourself?"

Mimi stared a moment, the sudden dissapearance of her ice powers made sense now. They had become a defence mechanism for when she was in any form of pain, but thanks to him they were offline so to speak. "My hometown?" she asked softly, her gaze diverting to the ground, as they began to cloud over a soft grey color "They hated me because of my ice powers...and so I moved away with my mom...but she died awhile ago."

Kura looked at her with knowing eyes while he said knowingly, "I'm sorry, I didn't know. I'm sorry about your mom." He then smiled, saying, "Well for a little bit, we can forget that and eat! Look, the food's here!" He cleared off anything unnecissary(sp?) and said, "Mmmmm...Smells gooood..."

Mimi shook her head softly and murmured almost to herself "Don't worry about it." and looked at the food and smiled sweetly "It does smell good...it smells very good."

Kura saw the smile, and blushed. He turned away, to let himself calm down. Once he was back to normal, he grabbed some food and chowed down.
~One meal later...~
"Phew! That was the best meal I ever had! How about you, Mimi, you all set?" Kura kept thinking back to why he blushed alot when around Mimi, it never happened before...Sadly, his male, teenage mind couldn't figure it out.

Mimi held in her giggle watching him silently before responding. Her appetite was far smaller then Kura's and therefore it was likely she finished a while ago, but there was no need for her to cause any concearn. "Yes I'm all set." she spoke gentally. It had also dawned on her during the meal that there was a high probablity that she liked Kura, which only complicated matters.

"Alright, cool. Hey! Waiter! I'm ready to pay the bill now!" Kura payed the bill, and asked Mimi, "So, where to now?" Kura's mind was slowly wrapping around the idea that he might like Mimi, but in way more basic terms. ((Oh gods, I've got nothing!! XD))

(Must think up ideas)
Mimi shook her head, obviously not an extrodanairly ddesive person, or one good for coming up with ideas. She sighed softly and went into thought, hoping to think up something.

"Hmmm...How about...nah...Hey, wanna see if there're any street performers around?" He took her hand, but gently, not like earlier, while he lead her to an area with a simple street magician, showing tricks to crowd. Kura laughed, then said, "Well, Mimi, I do believe I'm lost, sorry. I kinda just noticed." He had kinda forgotten that he still had her hand.

Mimi knew for a fact Kura still had her hand, and she was enjoying it far to much to care about anything else, but the word 'lost' caught her attention. She giggled and shook her head "Some of the best adventures come from wandering around lost."

"Alrighty then. Which direction would you like to wander in, then?" He then thought of something, and told it to Mimi, "Hey, aren't your current gaurdians that new Domachi mage and Yami? Won't they be kinda upset if they see you come back reeeeeeeeallllllly late with a boy?"

"Only if they see" she spoke softly "And Miss Yami wouldn't mind. Toki would though....he'd mind a lot. But if it gets late, he'll come find me. It's probably better you meet him someday anyway." She looked in all directions, noting that none of them seemed very dangerous, and mentally searched the area as Toki had taught her to do "All routes seem safe enough..."
