Believe me, I'm trying to keep Jon out of everything for the benefit of everyone involved. And I'm not gonna ask Hale s**t while I'm in a downswing. Fuuuck. That'd be bad, too.

Lmao I can tell.

Worse case scenario would be... Hale teams up with team chop shop, Jon n co', and Alton.

Wouldn't that be fun?

Y'know, I saw a piece of advice for getting out of writers block, that said "Ask youself 'what could possibly go wrong?' and then write out exactly how it all goes wrong."

I feel like that's the meta thread. The whole thing.

Jon.. Is really bad at teams, because it's hard for him to attach to others, even over a common goal. He's fickle and easily bored and has never learned to have to share or take turns or compromise because usually he just warps people into getting what he wants.

And his hubris is such that he wouldn't believe he was anyone's creation. It'd be bad.

Mm. "Bestie" is a really optimistic view. How to explain it.. Jon views Noel as his property, or like.. A save point. Noel knows him as much as anyone is capable because he has never tampered with Noel's memories. But being "friends" with Jon is hard because he's apt to disappear for ages, return when he pleases, and not give a ******** about anyone's opinion of the matter.

Also, he's incredibly arrogant. And he loathes anyone that reminds him he isn't all-powerful-- Yuno, for example.

Jon would torture Ben relentlessly if he knew, but he would never seek aid in doing so because he doesn't believe he needs it. Or if he did, he'd treat the person helping him like a lackey.

But his end goal would just be to replace Noel.

Or recreate him.

Oh Jesus.

Now THIS is the worst possible thing, surely.

A nuclear bomb goes off, many characters die, Maluk and Odin get married and have two-headed nuclear mutant babies in a dystopian hellscape where Hale is emperor.

Lmao.

Meta:
"Nah bro. Lemme one-up you."

// Kills off all the characters, but the demon who caused it revives everyone where it causes excruciating pain anytime they use any abilities. Hale sacrifices Cass and lets a demon overtake his body so now Alton has Flint and Hale has a demon he can access.

Something something. Julian is forced to murder Odin or Zach or the both of them die. Hale gives Jon one of the bodies to use if he wants a demon himself. So now there are maybe three waltzing around.

Yuno is murdered in front of Maluk. Maluk suffers greatly trying to save him since powers are now detrimental to try and use.

Lyrca finishes becoming a full blown character that Hale owns and writes. Hale starts trying to use his demon to try and take over Lavv as well.

Well, sexual sadism aside, the saga of you and Ben is painful on its own. It's the emotional equivalent of crawling through broken glass and then getting swept out to sea. Even if you don't drown, s**t stings.

Lyrca

Julian has been brainwashed since age five, so, arguably, he's never even been a real person. <********, though. I know me. If all that went down, I'd check the ******** out. Me and Julian could have a ******** suicide pact by that point.

Haha. Well, luckily it can never be that bad. Jon is a no-go no matter what.

Alton and Hale have totally different goals. So that'll never be a thing.

Jon may wander in at some point, but he's just such a s**t team player. I can't see Hale allowing Jon's primadonna bullshit, and I can't see Jon willingly submitting to Hale. And Yun can tell you how Jon reacts to people threatening/hurting him.

I honestly think Hale would end up killing him.

Actually. Hale. Do me a favor? Kill Jon.
