[ PRISON ROOM ] - Jason ( Prisoner 3 ) While Ace had developed a immunity, Jason sadly had not, but at least he was taking the sun's advice, stopping his flailing and do the practical thing of pulling the arm off and throwing it away. Why he hadn't done this before was anyones guess. And then the prisoners became even more creepy, repeating the same phrase over and over while one attacked them. Ace took care of it, leaving Jason to try hear what was going on his headset. Pokemon music had started to play and he stood there trying to make anything out before the static happened, then finally Marks voice-. "S-s**t!" They had to bail. There was no point trying to save the prisoners now, he was pretty dam sure they weren't even human. Although as he thought this, Ace was in the process of saving one of them. Jason just sighed, and hoped it wasn't going to bite the Sun later on. "O-okay." He replied when Ace asked him to lead, doing another head account before calling out, "I-is everyone alright?". We he could see no serious injuries he turned around and sprinted out of the tunnels. Somehow, Jason didn't sustain any serious injuries as he fled, only a few scratches from random insects. HP: 39

THE DISSECTION ROOM
Everything went back to normal and Lawrence went from having just defeated a horseman in single combat to having possibly murdered a guy. It reminded him of when he used to actually indulge drink and some of the bizarre things he'd wake up to in the mornings.
This was possibly worse though because it might land him in trouble.
Desummoning his claws - he knew the healing charge he was capable of wouldn't make a difference without a shield to absorb it - he looked around just in time to see Caroline leaving, a witness to this whole thing that had just happened. Someone called for the mission to be abandoned and he sighed irritably.
There was a moment, looking at the unconscious guy that he considered his options, on one hand he could try and drag him out and possibly end up with both of them being killed in the process, he wasn't light, it wouldn't be easy. On the other, the one which actually still had a hand there was the fact that if he just left, just walked away that he could plausibly blame famine, even if Caroline had seen him he could say he tried very hard to get him out but to no avail, no one could entirely refute that. Even if Kai made it back on his own - fat chance of that - he'd not remember who had attacked him at all.
For Lawrence, without anyone else there to weight the right choice appropriately the conclusion was clear. He turned and left.

"Shh," responded Mark very quietly over the headset, "They'll hear you."
As he said this he bumped right into Rep, yelled like crazy and nearly dropped his weapon. He looked like he had just lost a fight with an army of moths, his coat entirely gone, making him look even scrappier than usual. "Where's Dwight?"
Anyone close to the portal outside might have glimpsed just long enough to see an upturned table with a DS still running Pokemon next to an empty headset slowly being swallowd by a thousand centipedes.

[ OUTSIDE ] Jason was almost happy to be hit by blasting sand and heat again, but even that faded away when he saw the giant mouth from last time appear. ..."Why." He practically sobbed, before trying to grow a pair. "O-okay! E-everyone else g-go first, I'll s-stay back a-and help any s-stragglers!" Quote: Jason's ready to offer support, just quote me! Leaving the room was much more difficult than Lawrence had thought as the entire cavern netword seemed to begin to collapse around him. He didn't want to die here, it would be such a waste for such an excellent person, just when he was beginning to turn things around and be good.
Determined to get out he disturbed a nest of something and found himself relentlessly pursued by a huge scorpion which seemed intent on catching him. He was fast but the thing was faster and tagged him on the ankle before he managed to get away from it.
Everything started to swim after that as the burning pain of the venom spread through his shield. Butch said he wouldn't die but there was nothing he could do about the pain.
<> he barked, and Lawrence didn't have the energy to scold him.

[ORCHARD] - Melvin "Wait what?" He said as Joy rushed off to jump at the Moth like a college freshman after a Frisbee.
Desummoning, he followed after and tried to judge where they would fall. Maybe he'd at least get one of them.

Lawrence arrived at the way out and found it an absolute maelstrom of chaos. People were having to help others out and immediately he knew this would be a problem for him. Thankfully, he was rather quick thinking and he immediately drew forth the artifact around his neck to illusion himself into looking exactly like someone he thought people wouldn't be averse to helping out, perhaps donned with a little bit of vindictiveness at the same time.
It was as Jordan he started to run up the toothy maw that was around them, hoping his disguise would make people a bit more amiable towards him.
(Lawrence looks like Jordan right now because of his artifact and the fact he is a shitbag)

[ Orchard ]
There was a distinct possibility that Zeke had been less than overly effective in the last few moments, because one second there were leeches coming in to gnaw at their ankles, and the next thing he was aware of was Joy, on a giant moth, rescuing another trainee, and calling out for help. The Mist had lost a little time there, and all considering. For his first venture back to the Sahara, it wasn't altogether surprising.
The shouting, however, was enough to drag him back to the present. The situation at hand was just about resolved. Mark was calling for them to abort the mission.
It was time to go.

[Prison]As the woman was pried off her, Lin shoved the prisoner away and took a large step back. "Thanks," she told her tall rescuer. There was no time for introductions. The call was going out for evacuation. Had the person been found that they were here to rescue? Lin had no idea. She paused, looking at the limp figures of the women. There were more prisoners than rescuers here, and she wasn't strong enough to bodily carry a person; they would have to leave them and hope that the prisoners woke up enough to attempt to get out. It was a terrible situation, but there was nothing to be done about it. She had a sneaking suspicion that there was something terribly wrong here, as well. "We have to get out," she said, and turned to follow Jason. The caves were dark and chaotic, and seemed to be collapsing; something struck her as she made her way out, making her stagger. HP: 31

Part 2: Outside : Supporting Sy, being drenched in blood from head to toe, luckily all of it not his own, observed that for the experienced Hunters that came out of the cave, had desensitized to the gaping teethy mouth. Perhaps, they have seen this before..
When he received support from Sherry, he looked at her and tipped his bloody hat. "Thank you, definitely appreciated." There was a faint path crafted with Sherry's support, quite sturdy, ready for him to cross while sand flew all over the place and the distraction of a widening mouth underneath it...
< What are you waiting for? > asked Ia. But he was not ready to leave. " I didn't join this faction for the hell of it, imma stay and support others so we can leave together, " he told his weapon in a serious tone. " And take nice long showers," he continued, this time joking with her.
His feet still hurt and he may be half dead, but he still wanted to stick around and help. He knew he had a spare water bottle left in case someone needed it. Using his defense skill for the first time, he casted it towards the next person that came out of the cave. Sy: Moon Hunter Moon: You may roll your defensive dice instead of your offensive ones for support. If you do, it is now 2d4 for trainee with NO modifier. You can only use this on two people max. HP: 19/40 Target Supporting: Jason Support amount: 5 He could still support but was saving his last defense attempt for someone that really needed it and stayed near the cave;s entrance, keeping a close watch at the gaping mouth. Something else tumbled into the hole, he thought he saw a table like thing and a shiny gold plated DS but the cluster of centipedes consumed it before he could take a better look...

[ Dissection Room ] It was chaos; one of the shadow monsters had charged at another and a fight had broken out. Liam had waited for it to spread, for the rest of them to fall upon each other, or worse, on him. And then it was over. Liam had blinked, and everything had been normal(relative to the circumstances) again. Except for the voice. Not Wicked, something else. It seemed to fill the room, apparently sourceless. He shuddered as his weapon began to lower slowly, then desummoned completely as Mimsy called for his attention. "Is she alright?" Obviously not, but he could seem to help asking. He touched her shoulder gently, frowning, before getting glancing up at the other man Mimsy had tasked with Caroline's safety. Then, still gently, he'd move to take Caroline's hands, drawing her to her feet if she could stand, or picking her up if she's couldn't. It was time to leave. "Let's get out of here."

Outside - Safely Across and SupportingHarper looked at the unfamiliar hunter who answered her question, start pointing and nudging trainees forward noting areas that were safe enough from the teeth to get across towards the portal. Waiting her turn Harper gave her a nod and began moving forward, keeping all her focus on where her feet were going and not where the teeth were at that very moment. After several minutes that felt as if they had ticked by as hours Harper made across, being marginally safe she turned around to offer help to those still stranded across. “Hey! That way go around follow the path that way!” Yelling as loud as she could and pointing wildly to a trainee nearby that had stopped unable to move forward on the path that he had started out on. [ Escape pt1 ] The many became the few, and the fewer still. Gretchen had managed to desperate herself from the rest, or maybe they'd all simply scattered. Regardless, she was alone when the swarm had cleared. Alone and lost. "Hello?" Nothing. Well, almost. There were voices in the darkness, but they didn't seem to be coming from anywhere. Or perhaps they were everywhere. Not like Devika. Worst. Ominous. Running aimless was not the best course of action, and her weapon was quick to remind her of such, but the trainee was scared, logic wasn't at the forefront of her mind in that moment, not advanced she searched for anyone else, and not when she found herself face to face was a total of a scorpion. It was humongous. Large enough to fill the entire tunnel, and the chittering snap of claws and mandibles had all the color draining from already pale features. She screamed as she turned to flee, sprinting back into the darkness, but eight long legs easily out classed one and a half human ones. It struck, the stinger burying deep in the muscle of the trainee's shoulders and she screamed again as it lifted it and flung her aside. The impact was enough to daze her, but she was up and crawling the second she could, diving into a crevice barely large enough for herself, and kept crawling until she toppled out the other side into a staircase that might have looked familiar if the room hadn't been spinning...
