Kor sighed at the small smile offered, but smiled back and offered a bow. "Did you wait long, Nikki-sama?" He asked respectfully, looking down to his bare feet. His ponytail slid over his nakid shoulder and down his chest and to below his navel. "Gomen if you did."

He offered his arm afterwards and glanced up with a small smile. "Shall we?"

"Of course. Would you prefer somewhere in the sun, or in the shade?" Nikki asked, gracefully taking Kor's arm with a small smile.

Kor almost tensed at the contact, but he relaxed and lead him into the spa. "With your skin so fair we should stay in the shade," was his only comment as he lead him down the corridors. He got them both a bowl of bath supplies and towels, along with robes.

"What would you like to do, Nikki-sama?"

"To be honest, I'm not sure. Do you have any ideas, Kor-san?" Nikki asked lightly, hesitantly changing into the robe once he was sure no one but Kor was looking. He trusted the Gehaka, but when it came to others...

After he was in the robe, he reached up to remove the pin holding his hair to his head, letting the platinum blonde locks fall down to his waist in a graceful, silken waterfall.

Kor paid him no attention when Nikki was changing. He had turned his back and changed into his own robe and took down his hair, running his fingers through it. "First, a nice bath in the open bath, then, perhaps, a massage and then we steam?" he asked, looking back to Nikki after a good amout of time.

He never seemed interested in much, despite what his brother was doing. At least around other Haka. He acted like he should and hardly made eye contact, but he did glance at the one he was speaking to.

"That sounds wonderful," Nikki said, turning to look at Kor. He couldn't help but curse as the shoulder of his robe fell aside to expose a single pale shoulder. Most of the spas robes were too large for his slight form, and this one looked like it was no exception.

Kor sighed when he saw Nikki's exposed shoulder. He moved to slip it back up, his fingers caressing his skin briefly before he actually fixed the robe to fit him proparly. He was used to this from when Donalbain was smaller, though he said nothing about it.

Once done, he extended his arm again and took the bowls in the other arm. "To the bath then, Nikki-sama."

It had taken quite some time to escape the Kuromori home, and his initial escape had failed. Nikki had been feeling horribly cramped in the house lately, and he longed to visit the Spa where he'd truly gotten to meet Kor... But it seemed that his recent bout of sickness had his doctor quite worried, and the Haka had refused to let Nikki out of the house until he was positive it had passed. The pale Haka had immidiately broken down in tears, and had refused to speak to his doctor ever since.

When the physician had left for the market to refresh his supplies, Nikki had snuck out... Only to find that Jun, the doctor's assistant and husband, had been assigned to keep an eye on him. Frustrated, Nikki had pleaded with the Gehaka to let him outside, arguing that some fresh air would be good for him. In the end, the Gehaka had reluctantly agreed, but only if he came with Nikki...

So here he was, the always-too-big robes hanging from his slight form, with Jun at his side. He wanted to find a spot in the sun, but it seemed that Jun wouldn't allow it. Nikki absolutely hated being treated like he was so fragile, even though he was. He could only stand it when Kor treated him that way...

User Image Zurin entered the Spa with some relief, glad to be out of the hot sun and the even hotter hood he sheltered his delicate skin under. Dropping his parasol into a waiting gehaka's arms, Zurin slipped the hood off his colourless hair and looked around the entranceway with mild interest.

It had been many days since he'd been able to summon the energy and willpower to go out, and even more since he'd gone much further than the marketplace. Zurin quietly longed for some social interaction, though he hid it well behind a practiced mask of indifference. The Spa was the perfect excuse for a bit of people watching, with the health benefits and relaxation a welcome bonus.

Zurin had just changed into a well fitting robe of cotton white enough to rival the pallor of his skin when the sight of a similarly pale figure captured his attention. Staring across at the other haka in wonder, Zurin barely managed to keep his jaw from dropping. Never had he seen anyone even remotely close to his own appearance, certainly no one as frail seeming.

Zurin suddenly realized he'd been staring wantonly, and no doubt caught at it too. Unable to think of any suitable cover for this social faux pas, he decided to make it look deliberate and maintained eye contact with the pale haka as he strode over.

Personally, although Nikki had encountered another who was pale (even though he was techniqually a Gehaka), he couldn't help his slight intrigue towards Zurin. While Naomi had been, what seemed like, a partial albino, Zurin seemed to be a true albino. Nikki could sympathize. Although he wasn't stricken with a form of albinism, he'd been very sickly as a baby, and it seemed to have affected his growth...

"Hello," Nikki greeted as Zurin strode over to him, offering a shy smile and dipping his head in a slight bow. Jun dipped into a fully trained bow behind him, before rising from it. He politely kept his eyes lower than the unfamiliar Haka's, as he had been trained to do as a physician's assistant.

Zurin had to refrain from squinting, instead waiting until he was close enough for his weak eyes to fully take in the haka. Up close, it became apparent that the haka was not quite like Zurin himself, retaining some small pigment in his skin and eyes. He stiffly observed the formalities, inclining his head the exact fraction required for an unfamiliar haka of unknown status. Zurin ignored the gehaka, obviously a servant, and instead focused his pinkish eyes on the haka before him.

"Greetings." He said formally. "My name is Wakahisa Zurin. Might I have the pleasure of earning your acquaintence?" Zurin was not usually all that interested in making friends, but the flame of curiousity had been ignited at the sight of this pale haka, and he could not simply walk away now that a conversation had started.

"Kuromori Nikki, and this is Hamasaki Jun," Nikki replied, smiling slightly at the other Haka. Jun had tapped the inside of Nikki's forearm, a sign that he would behave. Normally, the Gehaka had no qualms with scolding Nikki and ordering him around, and mostly the Haka only listened due to the other's threats of telling Ren, his physician. Although Ren was a kind and gentle doctor, he could be scary when he needed to.

After Jun was positive that Nikki and the other Haka were getting along, he gave an amused smile, before moving behind Nikki to pull the Haka's hair back. Although Nikki flinched slightly at the unexpected contact- had Jun truly scolded the Haka that badly earlier? He quickly decided that it didn't matter, as he was only looking after the Haka's well-being, and then he quickly helped to adjust the robe, which poor Nikki seemed to practically be swimming in.

Nikki, during Jun's fussing, had gradually pinkened at the cheeks, embarassed that the Gehaka was doing so in public. He didn't mind so much if it was Ren fussing in the presence of others, but having to subject himself to Jun's scrutiny just seemed so... It wasn't that he thought it was beneath him, but he feared that other Haka would, and think poorly of him. After a moment, the Haka pouted, and turned to playfully swat at Jun's hand.

"Jun, please don't fuss like that in public. It embarasses me," he murmured, praying that Zurin would not think less of him for this incident.

Almost immediately, Jun's demeanor changed. He frowned, and rested his hands on his hips, green eyes narrowing down at his charge.

"Nikki-sama, you know I can't do that. Kuromori-sama entrusted Ren and myself with your care, and I am not about to let either one of them down. I've been a physician's assistant for nearly 10 years. Let me do my job, and make sure I keep you healthy. You're lucky I'm even letting you come here, since Ren has you on bed rest," Jun said, before sighing and letting his eyes soften slightly. "I've known you since you were 5, Nikki. I hate seeing you sick, or sad. And I know you get frustrated because Magoi doesn't have many robes that fit you. I'm only trying to make you more comfortable."

Zurin searched his memory for the names, but came up empty. Not surprisingly, as he was quite distracted by the spectacle of Nikki's servant fussing over him and his growing embarrassment with the situation. As the young haka grew ever more frustrated with the attention, Zurin's amusement grew. He himself was quite used to having servants pamper and worry about him to the point of annoyance, but Zurin tended to take it as a form of flattery rather than embarrassment.

As the altercation grew to heated words, Zurin found himself in an awkward position. Amusing as it was to watch a haka being told off by his physician, Zurin feared that Nikki might be ordered home and he would forever lose his chance to investigate the strange little haka. Sighing internally, Zurin stepped forward and gently placed a hand on Nikki's arm.

"Hamasaki-san, perhaps I can be of assistance? I myself have been similarly afflicted all my life, and I know what measures must be taken to insure Nikki's safty. Please, let me take him off your hands for the afternoon, I'm sure you need a break from so much worrying."

The hand on Nikki's arm and the familiar use of his name were both carefully crafted to persuade the gehaka that Zurin had nothing but the best intentions for his charge. Which may or may not be true, Zurin had not quite decided yet how he would deal with the pale haka.

Jun eyed Zurin for a long moment, carefully taking in his posture and his sincere words. After a long moment, the Gehaka gave a small smile, and nodded at the albino Haka.

"That would be alright with me, Wakahisa-sama. However, I will return later. Ren would have my neck if he ever found out I took my eyes off of Nikki," he said, giving a nervous laugh at the mention of his Haka's ire. "Please, take good care of him for me."

The Gehaka respectfully bowed towards Zurin, gave Nikki's shoulder an affectionate squeeze, and then left. Chances were the Gehaka wouldn't wander too far from the area, just in case.

"Thank you, Zurin. I don't mind Jun fussing over me so much, I just would prefer it didn't happen in public. I don't like being treated like I can't do anything for myself," Nikki said, giving a slightly relieved smile. The Haka knew that he was fragile, and that his health wasn't as good as it could've been; but he'd still have liked to be able to do a few small things on his own. Just because he was unhealthy didn't mean he couldn't care for himself.

Zurin ruffled a bit at the unasked for use of his personal name, but hid his irritation behind a warm smile. After all, he had taken the same liberty himself. Alliances with a wealthy house, as the Kuromori appeared to be, could do very well for Zurin's own dying family. The fact that Nikki could not possibly hold Zurin's strange colouration against him would only help towards this goal.

"Oh trust me, Nikki, I understand completely. As you can see, we share... certain physical traits." Zurin sidestepped around mentioning his condition aloud, he didn't enjoy talking about it any more than Nikki appeared to. He smiled at Nikki again, steering him by the arm towards the baths. "Please, join me in the water. It will be a pleasure to converse with one who has so much in common with me."
