 Another quiz, another gimme. Seriously, if one just paid attention to their classwork, they would find most quizzes provided no difficulty at all– especially not when it came to concrete fact, like in the sciences.
She walked out of the classroom, smugly satisfied with her result.
If she would be asked how she managed it (which she knew she wouldn't) she'd answer like she always did (like she'd never had the opportunity to). Astra had simply done what she always did– studied after classes. The morning's classes were studied-for at lunch, and the rest for the hour after school, or during spares as they arrived. In the end, their mark was imperfect– but many of the elements studied were effectively useless for anything other than trivia.

Shaolynne struggled a little with the hard sciences. Mathematics, history, language arts– those were simple matters of rote memorization and learning to rephrase and repeat what already was.
The problem with science, though, was that the synonyms were no longer synonyms– and it was much more difficult to remember one specific, special word than it was to grope at generalities.
Except when it came to numbers. Shao was honestly better at mathematics than anything else, outside of phys ed– and the 62.7% she got was not especially heartening. Still, it was a pass, if a weak one– and it had only been a quiz!

She knew these. No, really. But instead of quickly filling in the blank periodic table in front of her, Amory spent most of the class daydreaming and dawdling, as she had over several classes this past week. She just couldn't keep her mind on the work, and it didn't help when she received kind smiles and passing grades for subpar attempts. She needed someone to talk to... maybe Howard? She made a face at the thought, abruptly standing and handing in her sheet. It might take a little time, but she'd find a better solution than her guardian.

Thian, on the other hand, had never bothered memorizing this s**t. He remembered helium because it was the stuff that went in balloons, hydrogen because it exploded, and oxygen because he needed it to live, but that was nearly all. Surprisingly, he also recalled where they went in the table, but that was the end of it. With his trio of answers filled in five minutes after taking his seat, it was no trouble to follow Amory when she made her sudden exit.

 Despite being a member of Enoch house, Zuna had no real interest in the sciences. Xe had no idea how xey were going to do on a chemistry test!
To xeir absolute shock, xe did really, really well! Zuna grinned, and had to push back the impulse to do a victory dance. Awwww yeah! Xe'd done good!

 This was a bit of a surprise to Omari. They hadn't been expecting a quiz, but they did study a bit in the days prior. They scribbled down what they could remember to the best of their abilities and once satisfied with what they had, they turned it in with a smiled on their face.

 Jamie's head wings flapped nervously as they looked around. They didn't like tests. Being put on the spot always freaked them out. It took Jamie a little while to get started and after all their work was scrawled onto the paper, they let out a long sigh before nervously turning it in.

 A pop quiz? Oh dear.... Thalia definitely didn't feel ready for this at all. Oh well! It was time to do what she had to do and that was that! Putting pencil to paper, first scribbling out her name before starting, she began the task at hand and could only cross the fingers on her left hand in hopes of a good test score!
As she answered the questions on the quiz, she found it to be easier than she imagined it to be. Once she turned it in, she eagerly awaited her score. "Yah! Hurrah!" she cheered when she got her paper back.

 Oh no... a quiz! Ebi... wasn't good at pop quizzes... he'd been struggling with the periodic table lessons, and it translated into his quiz results. The nixie, who was often so optimistic, and always smiling, felt absolutely dreadful. But he kept a forced, squiggly little smile as he stared at his results. He'd... have to work harder!

as a man of science, learning about the basics of the very make up of their world was delightful. Alas, studying was not in his nature, since he tended to pick up on things naturally, and easily... however perhaps with this particular lesson he should have taken at least a few more notes. But he didn't do too terribly, not to him. Easy to say, it wasn't too big a deal for the little Fey.

 As as studious young hybrid, Anubis took great care to study, and keep his grades acceptable. However he was surprised by how mediocre he'd done on this pop quiz... frowning, he made note in his notebook to focus more of his attention on his science notes.

 Ah science, his favorite subject~ Ezekiel thrived in the world of his desired profession... but perhaps had been too caught up in his own personal studies and projects to really focus on the test before him! ...leaving his score not as high as it could have been.

 Sighhhh... a pop quiz? Really...? Ziya wasn't prepared for this... rolling his eyes dramatically, the teen slowly worked on the quiz, really not giving it much attention or care. These sort of things were so boring...
