Carminer Post 4
Carminer, having grown bored of the competition, made way out to the food stands. With so many people focused on fights, he had the room to wander about without any stress, and so he made way to evaluate the current drinks int he area. He was quite optimistic as he moved, seeing not too many variances. It would be tough to get his wine on their radar, but as soon as he did he knew that they would purchase his wine.
As he walked, he caught sight of a pretty Matori, and so he approached and took a chance,
"Hello there, dear. See anything interesting around here?"

Shima Post 4 Shima was all for meat! Seeing the meatballs made her mouth water and she didn't really think there could be anything better than protein! Still when Jerami looked excited about the sweets stall she found herself hauling back on her carnivorous side. Those did look pretty amazing. "Why wait? We should eat those now!" Shima was too excited about the prospect of eating the sweet things first. After all their mothers weren't there to stop them, so why not? Turning to her siblings she gave a large grin, "We should indulge since we traveled all this way! I think we should eat the sweets first, then we can see about...other things." She gave a dismissive wave of her hands to indicate that if they never got to those 'other more healthier things' it wouldn't be the end of the world for her. "Besides! Its not like we come across sweets everyday! Lets get some before they are all gone!' Shima hoped she was being persuasive enough to convince both her siblings that this was a good idea!

Ashta Post 4
The young man looked to Sriina feeling the awkwardness abate with the absence of his brother only to edge back in. To be honest it had been awhile since they had been alone, every other time it was him playing escort and it was eating away at him. When Sriina asked how he had been doing lately he realized....this was only going to get more awkward. What was he going to talk about? Training, keeping his brother away from drugs and the young man they were in charge of guarding?
"Lets not talk about that, it isn't very interesting. " Ashta spoke rather brashly, realizing his tone he side and tried to smile,
"Come on, we may as well attempt to see what is so enjoyable about a tournament set in the homeland of our once oppressors. " Ashta managed rubbing a hand through his spiky hair before offering Sriina his arm to hold on to. The crowds were packed, and he didn't want her sneaking or or getting lost. "I heard there is good food to eat. Perhaps we should try and sample some?" He offered as he would much rather do anything else than just stand around and talk, he was awful at conversation.

Varinia .|. Post 5Lasseyn's happiness was definitely infectious as Varinia shared her food with the girl. She took a piece herself and munched on it while they talked, of course offering some to the shifter mother and Naevius as well. "There are these sun dried crisps, people make them from all sorts of things and they have this seasoning on them. Typically they're served with a soup or some other meal but I personally just like getting the crisps and eating them by themselves." She winked at Lasseyn. The girl looked like she enjoyed being a little bit of a rebel, especially when she was talking about her sister being jealous. "I have a few sisters myself who also tend to get jealous if I go somewhere and don't bring them back something." Vari said with a smile. a pet dino Varinia w/ Naevius @ Lasseyn and Lasarra

Naevius .|. Post 5"That's understandable. I'm an only child myself but even then we didn't do too much traveling when I was younger. Definitely not to a whole other nation. I don't have any kind of anything to write down directions for you now but I can get that information to you before you leave I'm sure." Nae smiled. Sure she didn't know a lot about this shifter and her family. But so far, all the interactions they've had have been pleasant. Inviting Lasarra and her family would hopefully help ease some relations with the Tendajians and hopefully help move towards even more peace and coexisting between all the lands. That was Nae's hope, at least. One step at a time. a pet dino Naevius @ Lasseyn and Lasarra <3

Qoraekai .|. Post 2Qora had taken ample time to recover from his smaller wounds and get any others treated. Sure he looked a little like a mess with the bandages at varying places and then the light sun burn that had already started. Even so, he kept his hood down still as he made his way towards the stands to watch. So absorbed into his own thoughts he almost ran straight into a woman standing still. His eyes blinked a few times before following the woman's gaze to a small group, two obans speaking with two shifters. The woman in front of him seemed to be debating something. Qora stepped to the side of her and stood for a moment, watching as well. "Who is she?" He asked suddenly. There was the one Oban who seemed to draw the eye who must be the reason the other was staring. No harm in asking, he thought at least. Scarlett Arbuckle I'd have Nae and them react to Shalvesta but trying to keep the groups smaller so I don't miss something. XD I wouldn't mind having a RP later between Naevius and Shalvesta if you would like!

SRIINA (post 5)
Ashta's tone had her turning her head back to look at him, tilting it slightly to the side. It seemed like she wasn't the only one trying to avoid a topic. The idea had her smirking before he offered her his arm. She took it without thinking and let him lead the way. Food was sounding good, and the smells all around them where making her stomach turn over.
"It would be a waste to come out all this way and not try a little bit of everything." She smiled brightly up to him, their height difference pretty obvious now that she was so much closer to him. "What should we do first?" She felt much more comfortable not having to talk about anything meaningful. Keep it to food and the tournament and everything would be fine.

Masika Post 5She blinked at Ziel before coloring deeply and bringing her hands up to wave her off. At the same time she heard Eleina give an answer. "No, no, Muma wouldn't let me fight this time. She said I could try next time if I wanted." Not that Masika was particularly interested in fighting just to prove she could. Then Sakhile got up and excused himself and she looked after him. "O-oh, okay. Fight well!" The hybrid hoped she hadn't been ignoring him. It was just that everyone else had appeared around the same time he had. Her attention then went to the arena where she saw her mother fighting against another Alkidike. Masika stared in awe at the scene. Not only had she never seen her mother fight but she'd never seen another Alk that wasn't related to her directly. It was an interesting sight to say the least. Once it was all over she was a little upset that her mother had lost but was more worried since she saw red all over the woman. (( Sorry it took me so long guys. D: ))

Dris'rynne Post: 3"I know they aren't all bad, I work with a few, but I still don't like them." Her smile was rueful, with a touch of mischievous stubbornness. They were good, decent folk who didn't mind being led by a foreigner. It made her adjustment to actually staying in Oba easier now that she had a sort of pseudo family, but the entirety of Oba itself could kiss her posterior. Too many nasty, lying, cheaters for her tastes.
She found herself subconsciously leaning against Tes, eyes now drifting almost lazily towards the arena. Another fight, another round of obnoxiously loud cheering, but since it was no one she knew she was able to tune it all out. "You can take her. Your skills still have room for improvement....a lot of room, but you're a survivor. That makes you hard to take down." Skills alone couldn't win a battle; you had to have the drive to see it through. One's mind had to be enraptured with the fight itself to bring out a victory, and Tes was the sort to do it.
"Would it help if I snagged a front row seat, and yelled nasty things at your opponent? I've heard some dandies today so I've got plenty of material."

Teslaron Post: 4Maybe his ears were deceiving him, but Dris'rynne's words sounded suspiciously like encouragement. He grinned, though his companion likely wouldn't see it, due to their positioning. And yeah, there was a good natured jab in there, but he doubted the woman could even help herself in that regard. Besides, his 'skills,' if they could even be called such a thing, likely weren't what they could be, and he'd probably been lucky to win any fight at all. So she wasn't wrong.
Tes tipped his head back, laying it against her shoulder and letting the dark strands of his hair spill down her chest. "For you, Sky Princess, I'll give it my best." He settled a hand on her leg and craned around to look at her as best he could without sacrificing too much of his position. "But if my skills offend you so, and if you're such a great warrior, you could offer me a few tips for improving."
"Or, better still," he twisted around to perch on his knees at her side and reached across her legs to settle one hand on either side of her hips. He leaned forward, quirking her that mischievous grin as he bumped his nose to Dris' cheek. "You could show me."

Nuri (srry Kana lost count)
Nuri frowned again, getting the feeling he had found a dead end. He heard the call for fighters, so he moved around to stand high up. At the moment, he wasn't set to fight thanks to his ranking. They wanted to save his fights for when there was a bigger crowd, and warm up with the lesser known warriors.
"The Red Amaryllis is a local entertainment establishment...well known for its dancers and musicians alike...I am sorry, I just assumed you may have heard of it considering..." He gestured toward her flute, pausing a long moment before shaking his head, "My wife, Aseara, is pale skinned with blonde hair, but she is most noted for how she dresses...she...is quite fancy and likes Oban coloring despite being from Sauti..."
As he glanced about, the loud cheering of the crowd caused him to shake his head, "I probably shouldn't worry about finding her...she'd have better luck finding me once I start fighting..."

Ondine Post 4
Ondine stood back and smirked, eyeing the stone the kid was pointing out before shaking her head, "You dont have any coin, and you dont want our help...there's really no other option...unless..." Ondine glanced at Volkarosh, the girl who was giving her serious looks. She didn't seem the type to encourage any sort of trouble.
"Well, merchants don't really like bandits in this part...there are quite a few that terrorize the borders..."
She shrugged, but lately Ondine had been looking into the bandits, mostly what they stood for. It seemed so interesting being free like that.

Neryssa post 4 The roaring of the crowds and the lanes becoming less crowded, but still held a majority of people. Neryssa looked towards the stadium as people started flooding that direction. Fighting all well and good if it was for fun, she had to agree with that. Neryssa and her brothers had been born after the war times and never really asked about it. Her mother never wanting to really talk about it. "Certainly sounds like it. I wonder how many are competing in all this. From the size of the crowd, quite a few." Neryssa said tilting her head to one side in curiosity, Snapping back she looked back to the Wind woman with a smile. "Oh! My brother should be here somewhere. He has a lot of stuff from Matori, but I don't remember where he was set up." She peered around to see if they were close, but she had wandered a grand distance in search of music. "Is there anything you are really looking for?" She kinda bounced from foot to foot, wanting to move, this ever standing still was making her anxious, Elyessi I am so horrible. xD Making people wait on me.

Bisera -- Post 6 Bisera tilted his head to one side, giving a thoughtful humming sound. Vodyanoi seemed to make an interesting argument about music, didn't he? Talking about songs that celebrated victories. It made sense that warriors could appreciate music in that manner, making him wonder why Xarnith had grown up with such things being seen as a negative thing. It made him want to ask, but at the same time he didn't want to smother Xarnith with such questions. Instead he felt that he should take a wait and see stance on it. Turning his head he looked toward their Water Tribe companion, listening to him as he explain more of what he did, making it sound quite interesting to the jeweler. Giving a nod of his head he said, "I would really love to see you dance!" Dancing was something he felt would be amazing for granting him inspiration. Almost as useful as watching the warriors that were battling it out before them, which had him wondering which might be better. Hard to say without seeing Vodyanoi dance so he could do a comparison. As Xarnith announced that they were going to follow their new friend he gave a smile... then started to laugh as Xarnith linked his arm with one of Bisera's arm, doing it so he wouldn't get lost. Giving a smile he said, "Might be a good idea. There is almost too much going on around us, I'd get lost forever!" Lost among a bevy of powerful, muscular warriors... it would be terrible!

Shesha Post 6 Shesha gave a bit of a smirk as he said, "Oh believe me, my teacher has already told me that I am doing maneuvers he's never seen another student do." Of course that mostly involved Shesha using the magical staff he'd been given as a conduit for his powers to hit the man with. It was his own fault for constantly doing things to irritate the mage in training, as though getting him all riled up was amusing somehow to the 'old man'. Aqio didn't have to know about that though as it allowed him to brag about his accomplishments as though they were a very impressive feat as opposed to what boiled down to Shesha hitting someone with a stick. Embellishment was a wonderful thing he thought to himself. The red head turned to look toward Aqio, giving a visible flinch at the mention of how he had to look for a mark for 'petty pick pocketing', something that had him starring at him long and hard before he said, "I will not risk everything I have done for a thief, little fish. If you get caught I will pretend that not only do I not know you but tell a sad story about how you were likely trying to steal from me as well." Associating with an assassin was one thing, a lot of higher ups did that, but petty theft? That would just make him look like an accomplice which would be a blow to the reputation he was creating for himself. He'd be damned if he let anyone screw it up for him. Giving a little huff he looked forward again, "You better hope your 'Caretaker' taught you well. Stealing things in that manner will get you in a lot of trouble, especially given you're Matorian." Something Aqio should keep in mind, that until a short time ago the Water Tribe served the Obans. His punishment for theft was sure to be more severe then if another member of the Fire Tribe pulled the same stunt.
