Sedhor didn't quite like getting into this new uniform, it was too tight, to restricting, compared to his rather flowing red outfit. The only upside was there was still a space to put his sword on his left hip, and he could use the gun holsters for his cards. But even with that he felt, absurd. So to correct the problem, he picked up his red cloak and put it on, pulling the hood up to hide his shame at the military uniform. It would make some sense, of course, most of the state alchemists seemed to wear the standard uniform, but a number appeared to have alterations unique to them (such as Fullmetal's outright lack of one, or Armstrong's... fondness for a lack of a better term, of going without a top). So his cloak could make some measure of sense, seeing as his card manipulation was similar to alchemy.

Speaking quietly first to Kor, he replied.
"Believe me, I'm rather calm now. Short of another distraction showing its worthless face around here, I don't think I'll break out again."

"Lizardette, perhaps you should keep an eye on the one over there with some desire to blow everything up. I'll be with Kor, he's got a good card after all."
He called that out to the dragon Suzie, before raising a hand in farewell and walking out ahead of Kor. He was chuckling to himself, certain she would be frustrated at him, but no doubt unable to do much about it. After all, even if she were to discover him in trouble, she coiuld fly.

Kor A summoned a chess set made with characters from the Cell Saga Arc of DBZ (image of pieces at bottom of post in spoiler). Kor's side of the board had the pieces being Z Fighters for the backrow of pieces and Hercule pieces for the pawns. Aegil's side of the board had Cell and Androids 16-18 for the backrow of pieces and Cell Jr's for the pawns.

Kor (Team A): "Really? I clearly see the board with the chess pieces on it before us. Well you may choose who goes first since you are the one being challenged. It also has been a while since I last played a game of Chess against a Super Buu of one of the my SubMultiverse's Universes. Unfortunately many of the people in my SubMultiverse that I've associated with are too focused on fighting to have any talent for chess."

FYI the picture of the board has pieces on it, but I couldn't find that board without the pieces so ignore them. Also the board Kor summons with have a Dragonball Motif, not an Alien Vs Predator one. I just liked the general appearance of the board and couldn't find one I liked better.

It took a lot of self-control for Suzi to not laugh aloud at Sedhor's reaction to wearing the constricting uniform that KorB had given him to wear. Unlike the dragon demon princess, it seems that Sedhor has some limitations to what he is able to accomplish. It was so easy for her to transform her armor to locally acceptable-looking uniform. Of course, it was hardly like the uniforms worn by the local military. Although it may look identical, it was made of dragon scales, simply manipulated to emulate the necessary attire. That also meant that the fit was perfect. Poor Sedhor, he just couldn't get comfortable in his clothes. Donning the cape did little for the fit of the clothes, but it seemed to make him satisfied with having to wear it. Still, Suzi couldn't help but admonish KorB for his lack of attention to creating those uniforms. " So KorB, why couldn't you at least give my brother a uniform that fit him better? It seems you were a little lax in your measurements of Sedhor. See how he is fidgeting trying to get into a uniform that is too small for him?"

Next she addressed her brother. "If you need a little help with that, I can help you. After all, I can manipulate the fabric for you." Finally a small giggle slipped from her as she watched him wiggle into it and then put his sword at his side and hide his cards where his gun should have gone.

When he claimed to be calm barring another 'distraction', Suzi let the slight go by the wayside. Then Sedhor addressed her directly, still using the slang term instead of her name or her title. So, he wanted her to keep a rein on Fiyah, huh? Well,.that shouldn't be too difficult. After all, he and she had a lot more in common than she had with her brother or the Kors. Then he just waved her off and out the door he went. She turned to KorB before he left too. "Watch after Sedhor, please. He may be a Fate and he may think of himself as a warrior, but he's far from that. If anything happens to him, I will hold you personally responsible and believe me, you don't want my wrath coming down on you."

Next she addressed her teammate on the mission. So Sedhor was afraid Fiyah might blow something up out of hand. She decided a little talk wit her new partner might be a good idea. Keeping things fairly light she spoke to him. "So Fiyah, it looks like we are off to the Bradley's. Do me a favor and try and keep your desire to burn or blow things up in check. I would hate for us to get into trouble while we are supposed to be bodyguards. It wouldn't look too good for us and might cause trouble for the other half of our team. I really don't care about KorB, but since I am not there to guard my brother, I have to rely on that saiyan to do if for me. Unlike what my brother may think, I am not hot-headed and I do want the mission to go smoothly. So, whenever you are ready, I can get us over to the Bradley home unseen."

Somewhere out in the eastern part of the world, Draco was lulling around in the luxurious car that KorC had obtained for their team. The dragon prince was not the least bit upset that KorC decided to do some surveillance and data gathering the old-fashioned, human way. It was so peaceful and the dragon's stress level went down to almost zero once the saiyan was gone. He wondered how long it would be before the other would return, hoping it would take most of the trip before he returned.

He glanced over at Harbinger who still seemed to be relaxing. Draco could tell that he wasn't sleeping, but merely meditating. He decided to just let him be. The task at hand was going to be daunting and he wanted his older brother to be relaxed and totally in control of the situation. That last thought came with a twinge of doubt when he remembered that KorC was going to be there. When it came to diplomacy, he knew Harbinger and he could remain calm- unlike what the others might think, Draco could remain calm. Being royalty and having been schooled in protocol, the dragon prince knew he could behave. As long as the humongulus didn't rear its ugly head and cause trouble. Then, Draco would revert to warrior, but that was something that he was hoping wouldn't happen. Yeah, right.

Floating among the clouds, DLS kept a keep pair of eyes out for any sign of trouble. So far, it was very quiet. Only an occasional hawk-like bird ventured up to where the dragon demon queen was hiding in the clouds. Of course, the poor birds couldn't see her because of her barrier and one flew right into the cloud where she was hiding. That one banged it's head right into her tail and started to fall. It anyone had been watching for signs of her or the others in the sky, that would have been disastrous. So, she did the only thing she could. As it started to decline, she grabbed it with her mighty talons and swooped it up and ate it. She hadn't had fresh meat in quite a while, and although the feathers tickled as they went down the back of her throat, all in all, it was a tasty morsel. Raw meat wasn't really her thing, but flame broiling it here was out of the question. Still, it was tasty. After that tiny incident, she kept a closer lookout for birds flying in her direction and made sure to get out of their way.

The train was meandering along toward the destination, and DLS kept up with it. She so had wished that Aegil would have let her transport all of them to the location where the Full Metal Alchemist was stationed, but the Fates were so afraid of distorting the time continuum that she wasn't allowed to take the fast route. Her older brother must have thought that she was dense, uneducated or just plain stupid. She knew how her phasing affected the multiverses, but that was only over vast distances. One this planet, it would have been the equivalent to walking across the street. The space/time continuum would maybe have been thrown out of balance by less than a planck, and that was so minute that it wouldn't have really mattered. As for literally transporting him on her back, she could have easily done that with absolutely no harm to him or her. Did he really think that little of her abilities? Really, The Father would be greatly disappointed if he knew that's what the Fate thought of her. Still, she'd abide by his wishes, this time.

She had been lost in thought for just a few moments and when she looked down, the train was not below her, but ahead of where she needed to be. So, she gathered her thoughts and flew between clouds until she was overhead again. Looking into the distance, she could see the town they were nearing, but there was no sign of trouble. She opened her mind and spread out her telepathy into the distance. No, there was nothing there that alarmed her. Kor/Reaper could put up all the barriers he wanted, but she would still detect them. So, she just continued to float among the clouds, her barrier hiding her from sight and the clouds hiding the fact she was there- barrier or not. It was a very slow process, and very uneventful. She just wondered how much longer this calm would last.

Kor (Team B): "Of course I'll keep an eye on Sedhor. He is my comrade and I'd say we're newly made friends as well. I don't let comrades or friends die if I have any choice in the matter. He'll be fine tho I have no intention of belittling him like your kind does. I can tell he is a warrior in his own right and therefore deserves my respect and yours too especially since you are distantly related to him."

With that said Kor B followed after Sedhor who had already left the room. He then proceeded to adjust the replace the uniform with one that would be more to Sedhor's measuremenet preferences. Though this time he just did the Magic Materialism via an eye beam like Piccolo did to Gohan after Gohan had left the Hyperbolic Time Chamber back during the Cell Saga of DBZ.

Kor (Team B): "Sorry about getting the uniform wrong before Sedhor. I hope the fit is too your liking now. I guess we should get going before the 'lizardette' decides to b***h at us some more, right?"

Kor B didn't really care one bit whether or not the lizardette had heard him say the snide remark about her like he did to Sedhor. He knew her kind didn't like being referred to as lizards, but too bad seeing as they didn't care to respect anyone except their own kind. Sedhor wasn't the only one who was getting tired of them, Kor didn't really like their rudeness and the fact that they had one hell of a God-Complex either.

"I will keep it in mind." Fiyah said sheepishly, it seemed they were on to him and his love of explosions and arson. "All right, lets do this body guarding thing." He said, having put on the uniform with no problem, almost like he was used to wearing stuff like this.

Aegil actually chuckled at the bad humour from Kor. "A strong mind is indicative of intelligence. Intelligence and wisdom are vital to a fighter, though perhaps less fun for a sayian than punching one another in the face. I'll handle the white pieces, first move then." Perhaps an offensive observation, but none the less the fact remained that indeed Kor's species tended to enjoy physical combat to an extreme degree.

He began to play with his standard opening move, moving his pawns towards the center in an attack on the line of Kor's forces. Depending on where next Kor would move, Aegil intended to begin an assault on the weakest side that presented an opportunity. Aegil was well known to play aggressively, offering a number of gambits to his opponent that offered no strategic advantage to anyone but him were they taken or not when the oppetunity presented itself. Every move meant to build trap upon trap as the opponent fended off his attack.

Sedhor chuckled a bit, stretching as the uniform was made via magic to be much more loose fitting. It wasn't perfect, considering the retched blue colouring, but he couldn't figure out a way to explain that being changed anyways so he could deal. He was still carrying his red outfit in a bag he swiped off someone in the bar, and had emptied out so he wasnt taking more than the bag. He had his right clawed gauntlet in his hand and turned it around in his hands. "For all their power they really do love to shout at you and me. Can't blame them too much, really, but still rather bothersome to deal with. Wonder if I'll get a chance to spar up against Reaper soon, I rather enjoyed fighting Kaka..KAro.. Kakarot? Whatever his face is from one of your universes. Was a rahter fun game."

"Think that I could get away with my gauntlet?"
He turned his head to Kor, holding up the gauntlet to demonstrate what he meant. Of course if he couldn't get away with it, he'd have some more weight in his bag was all. If he could, he'd have one of his weapons drawn already.

They had already left the pub and were walking towards Central HQ of the Amestrian Military. Kor was interested in the fact that Sedhor had fought against one of his SubMultiverse's Kakarots. When Sedhor brought up the gauntlet, Dakra had transmitted a telepathic message thru the mysterious device on Kor's wrist.

Kor (Team B): "Yeah your gauntlet should be fine. Dakra just told me telepathically that some Alchemists were gauntlets not too unlike yours that they use as Alchemical tools. Tho to be safe maybe we should create a fake Alchemic transmutation circle design on it to make it seem like an Alchemical tool."

Kor then excitedly moved on to the topic of the Kakarot that Sedhor had brought up.

Kor (Team B): "Now then about Kakarot. Did he prefer to go by the name of Goku? I ask, because many of the Kakarot's I encountered went by the name of Goku. It seems only ones that weren't sent to Earth or never hit their head as a baby on Earth continued to go by their Saiya-jin birth name. And well most of those ones were of evil alignment that I encountered."

Anyone who might've been listening to the conversation between Sedhor and Kor would have no trouble telling that Kor was more interested in the topic of Sedhor's fight with Kakarot than whether or not it would be safe for Sedhor to continue wearing his gauntlet.

Sedhor smirked and put his gauntlet on, before putting on a sort of glamour spell an old friend had taught him, making it appear that there was a transmutation circle on his gauntlet. He flexed the gloved weapon a bit, smiling at the familiarity of holding it. An old friend, much to him like a Saiya-jin's tail. "Kakarot of universe DB-Z037 if I remember right. Good guy, more or less, a bit selfish but other than that. Kept his kingdom to himself mostly, know what I mean? Poor boy couldn't get past SSJ3 though, hardly the strongest of his varients. It was a good game, I still have some scars to show for it." He was rather enjoying discussing his past misadventures. Sedhor didn't have much to tell to his family, who knew all his stories, so the chance to talk about them to someone who didnt know was refreshing. BEside the fact, he could feel some measure of pride in being capable of standing up to a saiya-jin, in hand to hand no less.

Kor countered Aegil's pawns forward strategy with the same strategy turning the beginning of their chess game into a game of Pawn Wars.

Kor (Team A): "I can agree my species can tend to be a buncha brutes, but that's where I differ from most of them. While I do enjoy physical combat very much, I also enjoy games of the mind too. It probably stems from a combination of my genetics differing vastly from other Saiyans due to the integration of the genomes of other races and species AND the fact that I was raised by my Tsuful creators who hail from the Tsuful Race, which is a race that values intelligence over just about everything else."

Kor had found it interesting that the Kakarot that Sedhor had encountered was a good guy and was in charge of ruling his kind.

Kor (Team B): "Ah I see. Super Saiya-jin 3 is a hard transformation to master and can be succeeded in only one of two ways. There is the Super Saiya-jin God transformation and also Super Saiya-jin 4. I'm surprised that in a Universe of what I"m assuming would be other good Saiya-jins that he wouldn't've performed the God Ritual and obtained SSJG. I can see why SSJ4 wouldn't've been obtained since most good Saiya-jins have their tails removed to avoid mishaps caused by their Oozaru form during the full moon. So did that variant of Kakarot live on Planet Salad, the home planet of the Saiya-jins, or Planet Vegeta, which might've gone by it's original name, Planet Plant?"

Tessiel

When one of the android sent by Dakra lifted effortlessly the debris of the library bookcase, it discovered the corpse of a young man in pool of blood, since the little brain couldn't process complex symbols the android just overlooked the banishing sigil, favoring the rescue and restoring protocols of his binary programming.

This lack of algorithms blinded the android at the fact that sparks of pure energy started to jump randomly all around, so at the time the android took the still warm corpse in its arms a flash filled its optical receptors in few nano seconds.

The android stopped his movements, his temporal files told the central brain that in that part of that area all the living person were evacuated to safe zones, so the presence of a man, or what looked like a man with a very big shadow alerted all his systems as something dangerous.

"Oh... Sod off!" the man whispered as fast as two fingers were on the android head and shutting everything off. Later, the android was found by another android and his malfunction was declared, oddly enough as an energy malfunction.

Tessiel escaped the area by flapping his newly restored wings. He let himself rest in a rooftop, his grace expanded and contracted inside the his vessel. That place, the heaven of this place, that weird trip from regular old banishing sigil to what it was called the Gate of Truth, it had been a white endless place where a shape was looking at him, big grin pasted in the place of the face and little eyes. Behind Tessiel was a door with the marking of his Father's names, somehow he felt like being back home, but ....

He took a deep breath of the cool air, his grace expanded and contracted, it wished to escape the small confine of the vessel. All the new knowledge that had poured into Tessiel when the door had opened and lanky shadow hands grabbed him and pulled him to the other side of the door. Centuries or maybe millennia of knowledge, feelings, data, Tessiel had it now inside his grace.

"This is so messed up," Tessiel whispered to wind. "I'll regret this latter," Tessiel took another deep breath before opening his wings and his angelic senses to find souls. Moments later he stood in front of the weird couple with angel radar (Kor B and Sedhor), these guys were the ones he met and saw trying to save (or fight?) that pinkish guy, in either case he couldn't go back home, at least not now.

"Greetings strangers" he waved at them.

OCC: Sorry the long post, if anything is weird just tell me and I will change, and yes I'm finally finally back and I'm sooooo glad to be back guys smile
And Yes Tess is more confused than me after this.. smile
Cheers!!!

Before he left, KorB had to get a dig in at Suzi and her family. So he thought that they belittled the Fates. It was a typical reactive comment from a low-class saiyan. She would have liked to give him a parting gift, a headache, no a burned a**, but she thought better of it. It would only go to prove he was correct in his assessment of the dragons. They were not hot-headed, nor uncaring or inconsiderate of their brothers. What he could not understand, and being a saiyan that has preconceived notions about other races he has never before seen or dealt with (at least not in this incarnation), they were far from what he thought. Family- all family- was first and foremost in their minds. If he thought that her reaction to Sedhor getting into a battle that he was unprepared for was rude, inconsiderate or belittling, then he was a fool- by all definitions. He just could not understand that her primary function here was not to protect the Bradleys, it was to protect Sedhor. Her older brother Fate did have some training for battles, but nothing like her kind had. What he also didn't understand was their fierce training by the Father. And that training included complying to HIS orders without question. The last order her mother got, and which was relayed to the princess and her twin was "Keep the Fates from harm." That meant her primary duty was to protect Sedhor, whether he liked it or not. If the Kors and more importantly her brother Fates could not understand or accept that, then screw them. She had orders that superseded anything the Kors could issue, and anything her brothers wished. She would gladly die protecting them, whether they wanted the protection or not!

She was just about to teleport herself and Fiyah just outside the Bradley compound when she got an eerie feeling. These usually occurred when something that wasn't supposed to be there appeared. She stopped and closed her eyes. Sending out mental waves, she found the source of that feeling, Tessial had reappeared. She knew the angel was not a threat, Once she found the source of her eeriness, it disappeared.
Knowing all was well, she turned to Fiyah. "Time to go." With that said, she phased out, taking Fiyah with her and the two reappeared seconds later just around the corner from the Bradley compound. She took the lead and headed for the front gate. Walking in true military fashion, she approached the guards at the gate. "We are here to guard the family. You should have gotten your orders by now." She sent a telepathic message to the guards to mimic the one she sent out earlier. 'You received these orders and will comply.'

The guards nodded in agreement with her and opened the gates to allow Fiyah and her to enter. Once inside the compound, she sent a telepathic message to all three teams, all members included. 'We are in the Bradley compound. We will protect them as assigned. So far, I do not sense anything un-human about this place. If there is a homunculus, it is not currently present. Will keep you updated.'
