"You are free to explore the city, my denizens are in position, or at least getting there." Takaku informs. He suddenly looks straight up at the ceiling, a weird look on his face before disappearing. Alphamai sighs a little then sits down on the throne.
"I have doubted him in the past, and no matter how stupid his actions seem, he has to have a reason for them. So I'm going to keep to my faith that he didn't just accidentally waste a ton of energy to bring you here for no reason." Alphamai states. She looks at the group members then shrugs a bit. "I wonder what intentions he has for this lot..."

"That sounds lovely." Llangion laughs as he follows her out the door.
"That Lord Takaku has left us all with quit a bit of money and time to think. Like wise he as also been kind enough to give us quite a bit to think about."

As they leave they see a crowd gathered around the decorative gate in front of the castle. Every denizen the group had seen or passed by while making their way to the castle has come. They all hold up cards varying in color, some run screaming from the pack, others glare, some rip off their clothes and dance, while a few crack knuckles and bare blades. As quickly as they arrived, they all just turn and dissipate into the city, back to their lives. The guards outside the castle match in size and style of the gate guards from before, they too hold up cards, one red, one blue. The red one smiles at the group, the blue one doesn't really change expression.
"Would you like some directions?" The red one asks.

"You might get mobbed, you might not..." The blue guard answers. "I don't plan to get involved." He states. The red guard smiles then points down the road.
"The Arrows of The Evermage is down this straight road. The castle sits in the center of the city, which if you notice the large tower at the top of the castle can be seen for miles and miles around, so you don't have much of an excuse to not make it back by tomorrow...unless you're dead or gravely wounded. The city itself is a giant circle, find a main road and you'll have a straight shot to the castle." The red guard explains. "You may also purchase a map at the souvenir shop located on the opposite side of the castle just follow this road we're on all the way around."
The guards both look up at the tower, unable to see the top without falling backwards. From the top a sonic wave pops out, making a loud boom and rippling through clouds. One of the clouds falls out of the sky a bit aways over the city, some screaming can be heard but the cloud seems to stop and float back up.

"I don't know what you're talking about..." The blue guard states with a shrug. "Our clouds are fine."
"I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's gone back to its place now..." The red guard states with a smile. She waves to the group as they head off to wherever they decide to go.

-]When the woman with the bells mentioned getting a drink, Ryssa assumed that it would be a good chance for Camilla to make good on her offer. "Come on," she had said, "Let's join them and we'll see if it's possible to even get drunk in this crazy place." She grasped Camilla's hand and headed out after the others, letting the hand pull away if Camilla so chose to. After talking with the guards Ryssa paused to ask the helpful one, "So what's the deal with the cards now? They're not blank any more..."[-

-]Ryssa shook her head, laughing in response. Their denial of the obvious seemed funny to her. "I see," she replied, "So everyone has their little parts to play. Thanks I guess. You said the Arrow tavern was this way?" Ryssa pointed in the direction bell woman and elf had gone.[-

Taking a deep breath to consolidate my courage. I walk calmly up Alphamai and say.
"You look like you could use a drink, care to join me and relax a bit?"
