Becka wasn't going to give up, neither was Raven, not until she, or someone else caught this mystery Pokemon.

As Hatch lit up at the sight of the Togepi, Mako stayed back where he was. Like the other trainer, he was particular about who he had on his team. Besides there were plenty of the others around that seemed interested in the freshly hatched little huddled duo. No need to swabble over them.
And so with the request to watch Zhira, Mako gave an understanding nod, watching as the feline was plopped down into his protective circle, brows raising as he was instantly met with affection. Snorting lightly, he crouched down to stroke and pet along the Meowth's fine fur, scritching a few areas along he way. "hm... you are really soft, aren't you? More fluffy than Emile, though." he murmured, as his hands combed through the thicker coat. Flua, meanwhile, watched as Hatched ventured towards the Togepi, Mako too glancing up only briefly to see how he interacted with the frightened pair. Guy seemed to know what he was doing...
But it seems they favored two others more than him. Brows furrowing, and lips pressing, he sighed softly to himself. There would always be a next time. Seems like wild Pokemon were just popping out of no where all over the place around here. A finger poked and pet along one of Zhira's long, prominent whiskers curiously, as he pondered to himself, mumbling aloud, "Wonder what kinda Pokemon this immortal granting one is..."

Scyja left his trainer behind as commanded. No longer would he look back to see if his trainer was still lagging behind. Zooming off the Scizor increased his pace.

Doom started to speed up, seeming to have endless stamina. Jaime wanted to call out to him but she honestly wasn't sure if she could spare the breath to ask him to slow down.

Scyja was catching up with some of the others. He was very close in their range. If he had been commanded he would have knocked them out but they were suppose to be undercover in this so he couldn't do that, not now anyways.

Inhibited by his trainers movements Scyja was able to take the lead in this race to catch the wild pokemon.

Luckily for the Scizor Raven didn't know what it was thinking, otherwise he might have just zapped it out of the competition
