BogardAndy Okay, I apologize for that, but I do wonder, when you typed that emoticon before, why didn't you just elaborate by saying something like, "You sound just like Joe Higashi"? I mean, saying something like that would have prevented our feelings being hurt, right? Just to think about for the future, okay?

I suspect it didn't occur to Dee that the emoticon would hurt your feelings because she meant it innocently, so from her perspective no explanation was needed. Text-based communication is very easily misunderstood without facial expressions and tone of voice to help, and emoticons even easier! If you find your feelings got hurt, give the other person a chance to explain before giving into the pain - we're all family here. |

Ya kinda misunderstand what went on.
1. I saw the emoticon as for what it was laughter.
2. I made an a** out of myself by assuming she was laughing at me.
3. When she explained what she meant by the emoticon, which was that I sounded like Joe Higashi, that's when everything was cool again and I apologized for my behavior.
I also wanted to make it up to Dee for my donkey-like behavior so I PMed her and told her about the King of Fighters one liners role-play.
