 It was a good thing, to wait. He saw the kin moving in a crowd, without strategy or care. Those were not the good hunters. Those were new. Perhaps he might find an apprentice among them someday. Today was not the day for that. Today was the day he waited for the goose to spring his trap.

he ate half the bird, and dragged the other half away with a tight grip of his jaws. there was still so much meat left. he would have to save it until tonight. there was no more room in his stomach and started to walk away. that was enough hunting for today.

She laughed. The goose was a quick little thing. Though it seemed to get close to her, the next thing she knew, it was on the other side. Looking like it was doing a dance.

Patience, Faster thought. He stilled further, willing himself to become a part of the landscape of mud and trees and fallen leaves. The goose flapped its wings tauntingly. Was it a swamp-blessed kimeti; was that it? It was just like their sort.

Snow on the Mountain was prancing about in the white powder of the day. Soon she wandered into an open area filled with a bunch of kin and they were all chasing...geese?
"Looks like fun."
She ran off, looking for a goose of her own. she spotted one being chased about by several other kin. She joined in the chase for that goose, hoping that she might be the one to catch it.
