Mirai grinned up at N before her gaze went to a certain direction. She walked over towards a part of the path and stared down at the ground for a moment. She took a coin from nearby and tossed it at the ground only for the coin to disappear. The ground it disappeared in looked like rippling water almost. "Found the portal." she said as she observed how far the ripples went. It looked like a pretty big portal and also dangerous. Someone could accidentally fall into it without even knowing what hit them.
Emma's ears twitched and she watched Mirai go over to where the portal was located. "Alright. Let's get in there, grab what we are looking for, and get out." she said as she stayed on Herald's shoulder.

Just as Mirai found the portal, Fatalis would fly over to her and look at it, not saying a word to her. After their last little conversation, the two were clearly on bad terms and Fatalis had a habit of ignoring those who he finds not worthy of his time. Glancing over towards Mirai, Fatalis would descend into the portal without a word or hesitation.

N caught Nariaki by his arm. "Behind me. Everyone." Striding forward into the portal, N shadow was shrinking into the portal, prompting everyone to step on before it was entirely into the next section.

Mirai went behind N as they went into the portal leading to the center of the book. Once they were through the portal, everyone would be in a very dark location. The sky was a dark cray and the sun was black. Ruins surrounded them, from ancient to modern and the madness levels were enough to make an average human lose it in a matter of a few minutes.
Emma's ears pinned as she could smell the madness. She stayed on Herald's shoulder and hoped N would be able to get them through this in once piece. "How do we find the item?" she asked.
