Lock was currently drowning in frozen water and Shun was going to let him die.
What a short life Lock had lived.
Voodoo, being made of shadows, had now happily figured out the machinations of the pond, and was swimming in circles chasing goldfish, while Lock died. It was too bad Lock was too stubborn to call out for help. He kept trying to grab the edges of the ice, but every time his hands slipped and he fell back in.
It was a bad day to be Lock.

Shun couldn't swim, so what he could do was rather limited. He stared a little longer, then let out a sigh, glancing down at the shadow cat. "Shouldn't you fetch your reaper or something?"

Rikki approached the frozen lake because he'd seen a couple reapers. He was content to just give a passing hello to Shun and do his own thing, but then he noticed.. flailing? In the center of the lake? He stopped by the other grim and furrowed his brows, watching for a minute. "Er. Are you going to help him out or...?"

Were those gold fish? Trisha grinned down at the pond and reached down into the water. Oops, the fish ran away. Maybe she shouldn't have tired to reach so fast?

"Why should I fetch him? He can do it on his own, he's just being a scareling," Voodoo taunted.
"You are getting NO SNACKS when we get home," Lock screeched before bobbing back under the surface.
Horrified, Voodoo then decided to swim over and try to push him up the edge of the ice. Being a cat, it didn't help much, but he was at least making leeway. Somewhat.

Shun just looked towards Rikki briefly. "If I go in there, then we'll have two drowning reapers in a frozen pond," he muttered under his breath. He glanced back over to see that Lock was still struggling. He sighed and shook his head to himself.

Trisha wanted these fish. One snuck by her causing her to trip and fall. She quickly got up again and stared into the water, annoyed. "Oh come here little fishes, I just want to take you home."

"You're kidding me." Rikki frowned. He could swim - pretty well actually. He briefly gave some thought to jumping in to help, but frozen ponds were frozen, and thus cold as hell.
Plan B was to summon his weapon and float the chains through the air to the other reaper.
... And leave them an inch too far away. Kid had to work for his save, Rikki wasn't going to pull all the weight.

Another step and the ice slipped under her hoof, no wait it was a mini. She pouted at the water cheeks puffing out. Didn't the fishies want to come home with her? Perhaps not.
Maybe if she tried a different approach.

She struggled with the fish, reeling away. She turned the pole this way and that and finally pulled it to land! Success! Trisha grinned at her new fish and bent down to look it over.

Lock reached over the ice and grabbed the chains while Voodoo pushed. "Up up, get me up!"
He couldn't really focus on anything else at the moment.
