He could see something sticking out of the sand and picked it up to see what it was.
It was soap.
He dropped it immediately.

Cass, like Solomon, also went to the beach. Sometimes because it was fun, sometimes because hey she wanted free stuff.
Soap was good free stuff. She sure had a lot of it, though.

Cass thought it was kind of fun when you actually found stuff out here. She and Marcus had been having WAY too much fun with the tablet. At this point she could be doing some awful stuff with soap, though.
