"Oh, she is perfectly fine for a venomous viper," Seijin responded," She is the nice type of insidious. She will get comfortable with you, meet you are a friend, but do not dare turn your back to her. She won't hesitate to stab you in the back."
"Uhm.... you... seem to know her,... ur, well?" Mousetsu cleared his throat.
"We were roommates in college, fate has a way of working, doesn't it?" The teacher sighed," So, I know her working wells. She is the kind of person you rather have no relation with."

___

"Anei is Anei, I am just thinking like most adult we seem to come in contact in she probably knows of the cards." Heidi said.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 16, 2014 9:55 am

Yuuka waited patiently for Seijin to vent her feelings of Anei. It was very apparent that the two shared some rather bad history... Whether or not it was just ill blood was left to be seen, but Yuuka also trusted in Seijin's judgement.

"I appreciate the warning, friend." Yuuka smiled, leaning over to pat Seijin's lap. "She seemed perfectly nice, but if what you say is true... well, I will keep my guard up from now on. Tell me, do you believe she knows anything of the cards? From our first meeting, I was unable to discern her alignment. She showed no knowledge of it, but, I didn't bring it up either."

---

"I guess so." Samantha shrugged, her attention focused on whatever drivel was being displayed on the television screen. She hadn't thought of it before, but Heidi was right; it seemed as though all the teachers currently involved with their lives had some knowledge of the cards she and her fellow classmates had inherited. It seemed... all too coincidental.

"Maybe... I should investigate that woman a bit. Anei. She probably won't be in her office, right?"

"She is a snake in the grass, Yuuka, the kind that bites your ankle." Seijin concluded, " If she knows something, she will be perfectly capable of hiding it until its too late for you to defend yourself." The teacher crossed her arms.

"Maybe keeping an eye on her won't be a bad idea." Mo mused to Yuuka. "Seems like we could have our job cut out for us if there is a teacher in the dark side."

__
Heidi shrugged, figuring she had said too much already. "Well, she is now going to live here right? If she isn't in her classroom, you could check her room." She rolled the tennis ball between her palms, rather anxiously.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 17, 2014 6:45 am

"Mh... you might be right." Yuuka nodded in agreement to Mo. "We must be on our best guard, lest we're taken by surprise. These are turning into delicate situations, so we must be prepared for anything. But..." She sighed, crossing her arms. "That will be something to think on later. In the meanwhile, is there anything we can do for you, Seijin? To make your time here as comfortable as possible?" Yuuka turned and asked her injured friend, with a smile.

---

"Yeah, that's a good idea..." That sealed it then. It was time to do a bit of snooping. Samantha stood up from the sofa and let the remote fall from her lap. "Hey," She said, turning towards Heidi as she pulled up her hood. "You should come with me! You're probably sick of being cooped up in this room, right? And I bet your nose could sniff out trouble before anyone catches us."

She started towards the door, stuffing her hands into her pockets. "C'mon! If you go with me, I'll cook a nice ham slab for you for dinner!"

"I am okay, the nurses spoil me. Think its cute I am a teacher and got a little limp. But brother, do they gossip." Seijin laughed," I don't know who Brad Pitt is, but one of them has some long distance crush on him? I am not sure-"
"He is an actor, Ms... Seijin."
'OOOOOoooh," She nods looking at the ceiling, then smiles looking at her visitors ," Well that explains alot, doesn't it?"
Mousetsu giggled.

____
"I am not going.." Heidi said, staring at the tennis ball in her lap," I will stay here. "

Yuuka laughed, "Yes I must admit he is rather good looking..." She winked at Mo, "But I will suffice for my darling." It was nice to see Seijin in a good mood again, rather than speak bitterly of old rivalries.

As they spoke, an orderly poked their head in the door, after knocking politely. The nurse announced that visiting hours were nearly over, and that they would need to leave. Yuuka sighed and patted Seijin's shoulder. "Would you like us to visit again tomorrow? I really don't mind. Either way I will keep you informed on the matters of the school."

---

Well, that was disappointing. Samantha let out a sigh and shrugged, "Alright, whatever. I'll check her place out myself." She collected a few things from around the dorm, keys, pocket knife, a small flashlight, and a cheap lock picking kit. Hey, even an A grade student had hobbies.

"I'll be back in a little while, okay."

A short while later, Samantha found herself in the wing of the school where the teachers' offices were located. It was well past their normal hours by now, so running into someone was unlikely, unless there was someone staying behind. She located Kaninus' office and tried the door... naturally, it was locked. She took a quick look around and slipped a lock pick from her pocket, slipping the thin metal instrument into the doorknob and fumbling with the tumblers. "Hobby". She wasn't good at it yet.

Seijin chuckled," Yes, he is within reach." The nurse came by and tried to instruct the visitors away, "Ah, company is always nice. If you come around I would certainly welcome it, but , only if you can. I do not want to be a burden, besides, there is bigger fish to fry, is there not?"

'You two come by when you can or feel like it, I will be fine," She smiled," I will get to catch on my sleep."

___

A hand grabbed her by the hood and yanked her up . Her arm was quickly twisted around behind her back," A thief?'

Yes Anei had managed to creep up on her.... and two students where with her. The blonde from earlier and the darked haired student from drama. A beautiful girl of amber eyes and black hair, her arms were crossed under her chest. both wore black variants of the uniform decaled with red, though the latter's was a bit of a crimson hue.

"That is an excellent idea." Yuuka smiled, standing from the chair and ushering Mo along. "We'll be back should events permit it. With any luck, nothing will take place while you are away... You are a valuable asset in this fight, Seijin. But more than that, you are a good friend, too." She leaned over the bed and gave the teacher a hug, then turned to take up Mo's hand.

"Take care, we'll see you soon." And so, the two left.

---

There went the first tumbler... a few seconds more, the second, and the third was on its way when-- Yoink! As Samantha was lifted, her concentration was obviously lost and she dropped the tools, the delicate instruments clattering to the ground and likely breaking. A cold chill ran down her spine; she'd been caught breaking into a teacher's office. Damn it, this looked so easy on TV!

"H-Hey, let me go! I uh, I left something in here and just wanted to get it back--!" Samantha lied, struggling with the one arm trapped behind her back. She gripped at her hoodie's collar with her free hand, trying to prevent it from digging into her neck and choking her. "I-I'm no thief, honest!" She turned to try and peak past her hood, but it prevented her from seeing exactly who had her in a hold. She only saw the two other students; the one every girl envied and all the boys loved, and her lackey.

"She isn't. " The 'Lackey' said, "She is a student, I have seen her around."
'I have as well," Smiled the other, "Cute little thing."
"Fine, Farona open the door," the one holding the hoodie held out a set of keys for the black haired one to take. As Farona went to open the door, the blonde spoke again," Are.... we not going to let her go? I mean-"
"I have bigger plans for this one."

The door opened, and Farona strode inside flipping her hair as she did," Come on, Karine!" She hesitated and followed after her friend. The one holding Samantha dragged her into the room, slamming the door shut. "Pretty perfect for you show up. Makes my job easier. Or at least a bit more certain to succeed, come on, take a seat." She threw Samantha into a chair. Farona leaned on one of the pieces of furniture, whole Karine sat on the student desk on one side of the office. One smiled sweetly, crossing her arms and the other frowned sourly. As Samantha dropped into the chair, Anei closed the door.

"Thank you for dropping by," Anei smiled.

Samantha continued to struggle while the three talked about her. "Bigger plans" did not sound promising at all, and only fueled her desire to escape, but whoever had grabbed her had vice grip-like strength. She could only hang there while she was carried inside, and eventually tossed into a chair. She landed with a small "Oof!" As the seat dug into the small of her back and the armrest into her shoulder. After a moment of being stunned, she pulled herself up to sit in the chair properly, and finally came face to face with her captor.

Anei, or so she guessed, given that the woman possessed the keys to this room. Samantha sat uncomfortably in her seat, being clearly out numbered and flanked on all sides. Damn it, if only Heidi had come to help!

"What do you want with me? You heard those two, I'm innocent! You can't just hold me like this!"

"It is my office you were breaking into, I have the right to inquire what you were doing," Anei pulled out a cellphone and texted something. before closing it. "You will stay here for just a short while, then I will allow you to leave. Consider it detention~ "

Karine looked to Anei as the teacher set her phone on the desk," Give it five minutes...~ "
PostPosted: Thu Feb 20, 2014 5:45 pm

Samantha folded her arms tightly, and sank into her chair. She was pissed off, and wanted everyone in the room to know it. "I told you, I thought I left something in here and I thought everyone was gone! If I knew you were nearby, I'd have just asked you to be let in..." She wondered if she sounded convincing at all.

While Kaninus busied herself with her phone, she turned to look at both Karine and Farona. "... I thought you guys did stuff on your own? Never would have guessed you two had someone holding your leashes..."

"Its a chain of power," Karine said bitterly, looking down and to the side, while Farona giggled to herself," We all have someone above us to follow with. Alone? We are weak... we are freaks. But together?". she raised a ruby eye , the one not hidden by her bangs," We are something to truly be reckoned with. "
"More than that," Farona had rested herself behind Anei's desk, elbows on the desk, fingers interwoven and holding her chin," We are children in our state with magic. We are truly no where as strong as we could be. I don't think of it as leash so much as... holding our hands."

"It is not weakness to want to learn from a true leader," She smiled at Samantha," We were taught that to fight the cards was painful, conflicting, and particularly lonesome. If we stand together, as one, with a good knowledgeable leader, then we are in a better position do you not agree?"
"You have done the same. " Anei spoke at last moving to the door.

"Have you not seen how Seijin has aligned you? She herself has leashes to hold," She chuckled. "She , however, encourages fighting these truths, when in reality to do is pointlessly painful..... Why, I will show you how painful it is. You know it, you have seen it...."

A few minutes after this, the door opened... and Heidi was roughly pushed inside, falling on all four whilst tripping. Tabitha came right behind, and with a nod of Anei, the door locked with a click.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 21, 2014 8:32 am

Even before Anei spoke, Samantha had already picked up on the irony of her statement. It was true, there was no doubt; Seijin had taken her under her wing just as Anei had likely done for these two. And something told her that they were much more powerful than anyone she or Seijin knew, or in the very least, much more attuned to their powers. Samantha could see that confident spark in Farona's eyes, and even as bitter as Karine always seemed, it was there in her eye, too. They weren't groping around in darkness like Samantha was, they weren't coping with its changes and effects on their bodies, or in the very least, had already done so. They were on a level all their own. Which begged the question, just how powerful was Anei?

Samantha thought of all this as she waited those painfully long and silent few minutes. Karine cast short, envious glances at her, for whatever reason, and Farona seemed to just simply stare at her with a sort of... playfulness that seemed to hide her true intentions, whatever they may be.

The door opening tore Samantha from her thoughts, and she jumped from her seat when Heidi entered. An icy coldness rushed through her veins and entire being; she knew very well how badly she'd ******** up.

"HEIDI!!" She shrieked, and immediately joined her friend's side, kneeling beside her and grabbing her shoulders. She didn't care how close she was to Tabitha, or Anei, she wanted to protect Heidi. This was all her fault after all.

"You b***h!" She screamed to no one in particular, knowing it would be a fitting title for any of them. "Let her go! She doesn't deserve this! T-Take me instead if you want but leave Heidi out of your sick ideals!"

"You don't understand this is far bigger than you?" Anei went ahead and grabbed Samantha by the back of the hood, just as Heidi's eyes met Samantha's. "If we wanted you, do we not already have you? We just couldn't take her back with you at the door ready to call Seijin. That would not have been smart, would it?" Again she threw Samantha into the chair, as Tabitha leaned on the door.

Heidi had settled in her knees, looking frightened at Anei as the teacher walked back to her. "And you, little dog, hiding under the porch , and running away constantly.... very troublesome, makes me doubt how worth it you are to have around."
'Anei," Tabitha held up a box of medicine and she threw it to the teacher, Who caught it in one hand. The teacher looked over it.

"Sedatives? What a bad girl. Are you stealing these from your father, mh?" Anei spoke down to Heidi who hanged her head as she trembled, "Answer. Me."
