Kitara Elvini nods in agreement before standing a few soldiers. She takes a look at them and their weapons.
"But they don't have the same weaponry or attire as the ones who attacked Reni, my village," she says, picking up a sword from one of the soldiers.
The sword has runes on it's blade. She brings it to Darian.
"Tell me whether you can or can't tell the difference between these runes and the ones like the one in my quiver."

((Ooc: Note - the dagger, that we found earlier lodged in the tree, I had put in my quiver. {See pg.6 for confirmation.} I haven't taken it out since then, so it's still at the bottom of my quiver.))

"They're definatly different," Darian replies after carefully examining the runes, "They look almost elvish, but that can't be right. Can it?"

Kitara Elvini shudders and mutters, "It is possible, my cousin. There are a lot of dialects of dark elvish.... They are of those who have turned from the good of life and spend their time plotting destruction of others, even their own blood - the other elves."

"Comforting," the elf says sarcasticly. He examines the corpses again, shaking his head, "They're all human."

"Manufacturers, maybe? To help them in their warfare?" she asks, squinting as she thinks. She takes out the dagger, careful of it's evil aura, and says, "Elven-made swords are stronger than human-made swords, you know. As for the dagger, I do believe it's a dark elvish dialect that is intwined with a deeper language, a darker language. I am not certain, though."

"And then there's our mysterious vanishing friend in the cloak," Darian adds. "He, or she, has some knowledge of dark magic. There's no other way someone could survive that and vanish into thin air."

The elvish lady groans as Jay flits to her shoulder, "Oh, that's just great. The mystery of this whole thing is getting deeper.... Where will it end? What is the answer to all the riddles?"
((Ooc: I shall wait for Star from here.))

Lael looks at the runes on the dagger. "At my village," she begins, "there were runes carved into some of the dead bodies. I can't be certain, but I think... I think they looked similar to that. I don't know about your riddles, Kitara*, but they are certainally connected to the disappearance of the villages.

"Damn," Darian gasps, "That cloaked figure was behind all this I'm guessing."

Kitara sighs, "I hope not. Well, we can at least be prepared for the next encounter, if there is one coming up."
She goes back to the plunder, finding a few nice swords and more arrows.

Lael shivers and says a quick prayer before carefully raiding one man who looks like the doctor of the group's pack. "Let's just hope that there will be no next encounter," she says.
((Oops. Sorry about the Mar thing, Mar. sweatdrop That was a silly thing of me to do.))

Kitara stands up and stretches. Her hands are matted with the dried blood of the soldiers.
She glances around, sighing, "I think that's all we can get. Let's clean this stuff off, shall we?"
Jay chirps his agreement and the two of them start walking towards the stream nearby, both of them able to hear it's sound as Darian could earlier.
((Ooc: That's okay, Star. I understand. However, for the sake of the thread, I caught it and changed it for you.))

Lael tucks what medical supplies she was able to find into her bag an follows Kitara and Jay.
"Agreed," she means, motioning to her hands. She doesn't like the smell that is now on them and keeps them well away from her face. In her head she tries to remember if she managed to bring any good disinfectant soap other than the ones she used for wounds.
