I'm on the fence about the second seal thing. I like tradition and having the reclassing decision be more weighted. However, certain situations call for a change in strategy and having the temporary class change makes it consequence free post game.

If people revert back to their base class after the game, then I'll have second seals on both the item pickup and the chest/visit list, so that they're more common.
If people do not revert back to their base class, then the second seal will only be on the chest/visit list.

If my opinion matters:
I think Second Seals should stick, because that's how it also works in FE13.

I need a better reason than that, honestly. In FE13, the levels were dropped back to 1 and skills retained. That's not the case with boardgame and I think it makes a difference.

I think it should be temporary and not affect our characters permanantly as then we'd waste more second seals reclassing again if we want/need to. Also, what was the verdict on starting boardgames with our base class/keeping our promoted class? I wasn't there when it was being discussed.

That's what we're talking about now.
...Although, there was never question about keeping your promotion. If you promote, you promote.

I thought it was we reverted back to base class after a game, losing our promotions. But then again, with the way I take in information, only half gets processed and filed and the rest gets lost in the garble so, I guess that's why I was just checking. Well, either way, now I know. XD

If you want people to reclass more often, then make the Second Seals temporary. If you want them to be decided upon more carefully, make them permanent. Pretty much that.

So it really depends on what people prefer in the end, but we not getting much input from everyone

It also seems like we'll be having characters start with their personal skill (thus making it innate) instead of waiting to get it it level 10. So be thinking of what skill you want. Even if it's not in existence within boardgame, I can think of a way to make it work.

... Can't we just set our personal skill at level 5 instead of 10? That way, it will give some people time to think about what skill they like to have as well as grinding a bit of EXP to level. I kinda see that as a nice small rewarding for working instead of being catered at the start. >>; After all, we have two skills for the base class. Do we need to start with 3 skills?

Why not start with it? It's the very beginning that these skills are going to be most useful.

I say start with them.
They're called 'innate' skills, meaning you kinda already have them regardless of class. It's who you are, not what you are.

It makes more sense to have personal skills be innate from the beginning anyways. Like we mentioned in the blast, it would be kind of weird for people who have dragon skin for it to be a skill gained at later levels when technically it should have been something that worked the whole time.
And also, some of us are picking personal skills based on who they are and their background so it would only make sense that the skills are innate too.
Just my opinion.

I will require justification for personal skills. I want them to fit the character.
If the character is from Telius or in Awakening's spotpass teams, I will be looking there.
